I remember seeing Harry Potter and the goblet of fire in theatres as a teen & the scene where the opposing schools were introduced for the first time was amazing. I remember how loud the staffs were that the Durmstrang boys used, and the magical effects/ sound effects were so vibrant. The series’ theatre success is probably the whole reason the franchise became so big that it got its own place in universal studios.

This was an interesting topic, still very relevant today, so bumping it. How often do you go to the Cinema? I go at least twice a year, but not really as often as I’d like to. There’s just always something else to spend money on, ya know? Typical pricing to see a movie? Price - I like going to the newer theatre, where the screen is bigger and the sound is the best quality, so the ticket price is higher than usual - plus I use fandango to reserve seats, since I mostly go for bigger/ more anticipated movie events. Tickets for adults are $14.25 USD normally, without fandango upcharge. Do you usually buy food and drink from the Candy Bar? I bring candy sometimes that I get from the dollar store same candy, 1/4 price. But sometimes I buy candy, depends on who I’m going with I guess.. hubs likes to bring candy, I like to buy it there.. Since we go so rarely, I splurge on things while I’m there. The new theatre also has a drink bar, but mostly I just order a red icee- that’s my treat at the theatre. Although, I think it costs like $10.00 they charge so much for nice things Ever experienced a disruption? (e.g. fire alarm, technical fault) I have had to reschedule a movie once, being refunded a ticket in the middle of the movie due to a thunderstorm... I don’t think I ever did finish that movie Your most favourite movie at the Cinema? Harry Potter! It’s the most magical experience to see in theatre. It doesn’t hurt that most HP movies were released on my birthday weekend However, for 3D screening, Avatar was very impressively done. I haven’t seen another movie that actually made sense to be screened in 3D. But that one, man that one jumped right off the screen.
  4. Summer, sweet summer love is in the air and everyone is getting out more to show off their arm candy, or insta their actual candy. Whether it was a day date for ice cream and fair games, or a nighttime dinner, do you remember the time you spent TOO much going out on a date? Did it happen to be during this lovely season? Ah well, share it here anyway. What’s the most you’ve ever spent on a date? Show me those $$ signs
  5. Cheetos Last night we had this for dinner. Ugh I ate too much

Well it probably contributed to it in the least 🙁 worst feeling ever

  7. Thanks @ArchieKun, it looks like Rising of the Shield hero and The Promised Neverland are tied up at the moment. After reading up on the Promised Neverland, and the fact that there will be a second season to come, I can easily see why it’s so popular. This has been a good season for anime. @Serge heartless as far as not wanting to see slice of life/ romance, you should check out these two anime as well, both are fantasy (though one is dark fantasy) same with Dororo.
  8. Yes, however all of the series on the list have a currently airing 2019 season. That’s the point of this thread, to gauge interest from the releases of 2019, based on what is most popular, and what our users like. Thanks for your input though, it’s good to hear your interests as well.
  9. @Serge heartless I think someone from My hero academia would be a really good cosplay too. That would be fun in a large group, I’ll bet that’s pretty popular right now too. Anyone been to a convention and see this there recently? *looking at you @ArchieKun & @Beocat
  10. Hey @Big Boar & @Humbby did y’all see the Nightcore club we have here?

Thanks for sharing, your character is very relatable. As far as being a better writer, it just takes practice so keep going and you’ll reach new ground all the time!

  21. But beagles aren’t even sweet.. y’all are so strange When they make pickle flavored donuts, then bagels can count. IMO.
  22. Ewwww- don’t be so accepting Brycec Just hand him a real donut
  23. I am sad that you think this counts. Aaaaaaaand you don’t like cream filling? Oh well. You can still have hugs and donuts @Illusion of Terra I love Dunkin doughnuts Bavarian cream filled donuts. But I prefer Krispy Kreme’s plain glaze, since Dunkin specializes in cake donuts, their cream filled are really good IMO, but their plain glazed donuts are on the drier side.
  24. Ohhhh. Serves* when you have a weak serve
