This I’m already getting a headache from it

COD isn’t spray and pray at all.. if you can’t aim, also if you waste all your limited ammo you’re screwed. People actually take time to develop skill here.. when you play online and actually face good opponents that is. Sure there are always those people who camp, or maybe even have cheats somehow, but from when I used to play (2012-2013) that wasn’t the majority. The most irritating thing for me was uploading a new patch for maps that I didn’t know, and people had them before me since they were released months in advanced elsewhere, and got to memorize the map already, putting us on an uneven playing field.

These are some tips on brainstorming - a very important first step in determining what your story will be about. This particular article is on writing Sonnets, but the intro about brainstorming can be applied to any form of writing. https://annieneugebauer.com/2012/04/02/sonnet-building-step-1-gathering-dna/ What kind of character did you come up with? What do you like about him?

I hope you get your works published - I love your writing, it’s always something to look forward to coming here -
I’d love to watch this, just have to watch the source material first or it won’t be as funny

@Illusion of Terra the cardinal hero’s can only be summoned once at a time, they were supposed to be summoned by all of the countries together in the first place, and then divided, since that didn’t happen, they probably got ordinary hero’s to fill the gap, just like that old woman that Naofumi healed a long time ago during the first wave, and she ended up fighting. They call them adventurers there in that world. Much like the adventurers that joined everyone’s parties in the first episode. I think Naofumis party is about to get some new members

Or maybe for cover art? I saw the manga one!! I love how you did that

I didn’t realize there were so many isekai anime that there could already be a parody anime about 4 of them.

I was doing the same thing with GTO, since I never finished it, couldn’t remember where I left off either so I’m just rewatching it
-
Would that make your work a fanfic? I’m not sure on these things, just wanted to throw that out there

I tend to be choosy when watching anime, so don’t mind me if I pass on those two. Just don’t seem like my cup of tea. Im about to start Slam Dunk season 2. It’s so old so I don’t know if anyone else would want to watch it. And they’d have to watch 50 episodes of season 1 anyway to catch up. So.. pretty much just watching my weekly releases along with GTO, and Slam Dunk. Open to more anime, just wanted to ask everyone else what they will be starting soon

Anyone Starting a new anime soon & want company?

I couldn’t stand SAO... I didn’t make it past episode one. The concept was really good, but I feel like it was very poorly executed. According to others, the series just gets progressively worse, dropping more and more potential into the dust. I’d say try something else first, so that you have watched better anime to judge it against Animes like this one that are very good - Movie: Summer Wars, Anime: Accel World, and Rising of the Shield Hero. I’ve heard a lot of people were disappointed in the direction sword art online took towards the end, and several other reasons it wasn’t worth completing. Apparently the series ditches it’s original aim and turns into a basic harem/ slice of life. To each his own, I’m sure that some people enjoy it, even if I thought it wasn’t good.

Summer is here (yay! ice cream) If you are going to cool off at the beach, what do you like to do while you’re there?

I second @Serge heartless On My Hero Academia, GTO, Yu Yu Hakusho and Rurouni Kenshin. Just good anime in general.

Did you look at the writing tutorials we have up? There’s also a group of us making a light novel here too, but it was posted under the Art section, instead of the writing section, since it will have artwork as well (I guess). I would say, pick a genre that you’d like to write for, or an audience, and decide what you want to tell them. Once you get your main points outlined, you can create some main events, and characters. What type of characters like- is it a fantasy where you’ll have talking trees and fairies, or is it more realistic- deciding these points can take you places from the get go, and can be a lot of fun. If you want to start putting up ideas and building on them while receiving suggestions, I’d say make a post in the Project center, or just keep this one going if you want. I’ll come back and check on it for sure.
