Well do you have a current weekly reaction topic? Any series you’re streaming that you talk about when they are released? Sorry I haven’t checked out your channel yet What about discussing your candidates from the past for a reboot/remake and what would make them good for the future of anime viewers BTW since this is an anime based discussion I think you should move the thread to the anime section.

Reboot/ remake isn’t the same thing I see.. reboot had a subtle difference in if the series already has good storyline and quality it just needs to be “remastered”. And if the series had a crappy storyline, deviating from the source or otherwise could be done better - it needs a reboot, like Claymore. Claymore needs a mad reboot. Inuyasha and Rurouni Kenshin could arguably go about their stories in a more straightforward way and also get a reboot, but a remastering would be just as good IMO. I think the best part about reviving an old series, whether it’s a reboot or remake is, the audience of new will get to see new promo materials, and hopefully lots of merch. My bestie made this for me in middle school still have it all these years later

There are so many great anime of the past that have their own charm, but watching them alongside newer anime may dim their shine, and cause their glory to slip away into the depths of the past. Some anime that could benefit from a reboot in my opinion would be those that either have a messed up or unfinished story (deviated from the manga) or those with severely outdated color and graphics. Some of my favorites that need a remake are Rurouni Kenshin, and Inuyasha, which could benefit greatly from an updated look, and I believe could become popular anime once again, as they were in the past. Because both of these anime are set during past time periods, they could be updated without changing the image of the anime. What do you think?

Hey @Banri Let me give it a go. Since I’ve crash landed, I scavenge the wreckage for food/ water. Once acquired, I use a rubber band to keep my supplies bundled. After resting and regaining strength from eating, I use my surroundings, and pocket knife to makeshift a raft, creating a fire with my lighter to work in the dark if necessary. Once my raft had been tested, I rest near my raft until the time I need to set sail before the island sinks. ————- You have been in prison for the last 5 years, when you are released a gang has you drugged and kidnapped in order for you to work for them. You wake up tied to a chair, watched by one guard. You have a pen in your pocket, a razor blade in your boot (old habits) and an apple watch. Use them wisely

I have a feeling I mumble when I attempt other languages too, you’re not alone. I like non native English speakers accents, doesn’t bother me at all.

Sounds like a great concept @Kasplant there are several DBZ fans here, maybe try a discussion thread on your favorite DBZ characters or fight moves etc. That could be something fun and engaging here.

I’ve done a few cosplays in the past, my favorite being Sakura from Naruto. I just got so much community involvement from that one. There were events going on JUST for the Naruto cosplayers. The best ones though I think are the more rare/ unique cosplays that when you meet someone from the same game or anime there, you have that bond. This happened when I cosplayed as a chara from Assasins Creed, and met a fellow Assassin who passed me some of their wares for free, just because we had that “brotherhood” It was fun. I also enjoyed randomly throwing coins out of my pocket lol What are some of your experiences and favorite cosplays?

I haven’t seen the series, or movies so I don’t know. The synopsis sounds like everything will be explained in the movie though.

I love the theatre date idea. We have lots of theatre events where I live. It’s been referred to as the Hollywood of the east coast so sad actually. But I would love to do one of those “dinner Theatres”. Specially I’d like to go to a murder mystery dinner party!!

How about Hakuouki Movie 1: Kyoto Ranbu Synopsis: Chizuru Yukimora has come to Kyoto looking for her father, a dr. Who has gone missing. While there, she witnesses a fight between an Oni and the Shinsengumi. Taking her into custody, the Shinsengumi debates on what to do with her while they discover she is the daughter of the doctor whom they are also looking for. There the adventures begin.

I watched Naruto as a teen, as it was airing. I have also watched Bleach, DBZ, One Piece (dropped it though) and many average length anime. My favorites being Claymore, Accel World, Haikyuu!, Hajime no Ippo, Histories strongest disciple Kenichi, Trigun, and currently airing Rising of the Shield Hero, and Demon slayer Enjoy the forums!
