Hello everyone. I’d like to begin planning an anime alternate ending contest here, but I need your help to decide on the anime the submissions would be based on. Please comment here and suggest 1 anime title (movie or otherwise) that you would like to see the ending rewritten for in this contest. The idea for the contest is to create an alternate ending for whichever anime that we as a forum select. After we get a good amount of suggestions, a poll will be added to vote on which anime will be selected as the contest topic. I hope you all are as excited about this as I am! Summer wars was fantastic! I loved the integration of the Japanese culture into this film, I really felt connected to the family and their bonds were tremendous. The grandmas efforts to save her city were beyond my imagining. Isn’t it a huge loss when we lose an elder? Their ties to the community are so great and so powerful. Though there are many great attributes to this movie, it speaks to me most strongly in this way. What about you? What did you think of the movie?

Finally an episode with a decent conclusion. Been a while since we've had some closure. I must have missed something in the scene you mentioned about them dressing the queen. Isn't this normal practice for royalty? Or was there something odd about it? I didn't notice.

My SIL is British and it's the cutest thing when she says "bless his heart" I thought of it as a southern thing, but it does sound like it could come from the queens english

Whats something that you frequently say to someone in conversation? ————- As for me I’m a southerner, I shorten words a lot and don’t speak properly. I also use words like “nah” to say no and “yeah” to say yes. If we met as a group I’d say “hey y’all how’s it goin”? What would you say?
