  1. Bump! Hopefully you didn't get too excited to find someone had posted... only to find out, I don't know! I just thought this thread might have got buried, so thought I'd post to bump it back to the front page! I did click on the thread to see if I knew, but as I said, I don't sorry!
  2. Oh right, thanks for the update, closest I knew to a release date was "Autumn (fall)"!
  3. It may not be Fusion, however Digimon Adventure -tri- will be getting a dub, and a movie release! Jeff Nimoy has confirmed he will be returning to voice act in -tri-, and apparently most of the Digimon cast is also signed on, however no information on the chosen children cast, although if they replace them, they will be doing the same as the Japanese version did, plus, this dub is possibly being handled "by" Toei, rather than Saban! That being said, they will still use terms and names already established by Saban, however that's nothing new, Disney did the same! The first movie is to be released in 300+ US cinemas, for one day only, 15 September! So when's the next -tri- movie out *checks other thread*, oh so September will be double Digimon month for the US then; triple if Appmon is out also in September!! Here are some video links: Digimon Tri DUB Announcement... Digimon Tri English Dub Coming to Theatres... Information comes from the same source as the Appmon information, YouTube, same YouTuber even!
  4. Right well, stumbled across these YouTube videos early Friday morning, at an hour I should have been getting up, rather than going to bed: New App Monster Digimon Leaked... Huge Digimon Universe Reveals... Digimon Universe Story, Appmon and Character Complete Breakdown... All Digimon Appmon Toys... All 30+ Appmon Digimon... If you want to browse through all, be my guest, however I think the ones with the most amount of information in them are the third and fifth videos, with those two featuring the new chosen children, and a bit of animation from the upcoming series! The two methods of "evolution" were interesting, a normal jogress/DigiXros where the resulting Digimon resembles a merger of its two original Digimon, and a "link up" evolution, where they link up "tails"! There are also videos by AODigimon, but don't feel like looking at more videos right now, so maybe I'll update at a later date, or someone else can post about them!
  5. I need to get back to Bleach at somepoint, and Naruto; last series of Bleach I watched, I believe was Series 12, as for Naruto, it was last bit of manga adapted content, before the filler, before Shippoden! That said, need to get back to anime, full stop, was hammering it a bit ago, and I've now ended up taking a break, but that's possibly down to current situation, and organisation, need to sort out my collection, find a way to display it (rather than just finding any nook or cranny to put them)!
  6. Thought it was, no idea why I knew, except the image context, but I think it was the characters that looked familiar to me, again not sure how! Haven't watched many hentai, usually only those with non-hentai sequels; MEZZO Forte (and MEZZO DSA), Canvas (and Canvas 2) and Kite (and Kite Liberator)! I'm a completionist, have to watch everything associated, so I guess at somepoint, I'll have to watch the hentai version of Magic Canan, and the hentai OVA for Triangle Heart too! On the subject of hentai, I do have a vague recollection of a mecha hentai in my head, can't remember if it's kinda like Mahoromatic, where it's robot girls, or if it's just normal mecha, pilots flying robots, think one of the girls had long red/pink hair, possibly as twintails! I probably have an image, and maybe even the title of the series, somewhere on a computer or peripheral, but any help would be appreciated! Apologies Devin for piggybacking off your thread, if I think of the title of your series, I'll mention it, although I don't think I will, how I knew it was hentai, beyond the image context, is beyond me !
  7. So, whilst on the internet, I stumbled across a couple of things that I thought people might find interesting, the first is a YouTube video from someone who apparently spent a lot of time re-watching the trailer, as well as watching some/all of the Japanese ones! Apparently there's now a female swimmer from one/many of the Japanese videos that's now become an internet meme; out of curiousity, I did a search, but no relevant results appeared! [spoiler=Video]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hwfKyunP_28 Right, with that, the second interesting thing, were some fake scans, we know what the protagonists are going to look like, so we know for a fact they're fake, but they're still cool to look at! [spoiler=Fake Scans] Individual images can be also be accessed from the site, here! The third thing is that I also found real scans, however I might have to call "bluff", because a Koala in Hawaii, that's just too implausible ! [spoiler=Real Scans] Other images can be found here! Wasn't originally a thing, but I thought, given how there was an image of the protagonist's mother, I thought I'd add it too: [spoiler=Mother] Other images can be found here! If it wasn't so early in the morning, as I ended up surfing the internet all night, I might have made a Digimon post too, but I think that'll have to wait until I've gone to sleep first ! EDIT: So stumbled across this just now, it appears that someone decided that characters from Idolmaster: Cinderella Girls looked like the new starters: How the Triad Primus* normally look; How they look as starters (on their own; How they look as starters (with other Idolmaster characters** as trainers)! * - Houjou Karen, Kamiya Nao and Shibuya Rin! ** - Honda Mio and Shimamura Uzuki! Posted this edit also on the "What's your starter?" thread!
  8. Just came across these after logging out: If Pokémon were Canadian; If Overwatch heroes were Pokémon trainers! So what do you think? Any of those Canadian Pokémon look like starter Pokémon in your opinion? The Overwatch Heroes as Pokémon Trainers look quite believable, art's a bit rough, but still good! Posted this edit also on the "Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon" thread!
  9. A bit of a bizarre source, but I was playing Persona 3 Portable -Girl's Route-, and this line came up, and I felt it was a touching quote: "If I can find someone who needs me, I'd love that person with every fiber of my being." - Hasegawa Saori I find it a bit sad, although I feel kinda the same, not sure about in relation to love, but other things possibly, like employment perhaps! It actually fits in the middle of her dialogue, so the full dialogue is this: I don't really have any opinions of my own. If there's someone willing to take the lead, I'll gladly follow... I don't need someone... I just want to be needed by someone else. If I can find someone who needs me, I'd love that person with every fiber of my being. ...Do you think it's wrong to think that way? I think "If there's someone willing to take the lead, I'll gladly follow..." and "I don't need someone... I just want to be needed by someone else" are touching too! Only thing is, none of these lines are motivational, just touching, well, to me anyway!
  10. Hmm, either I missed Sommelier's post back in February, or I didn't have anything to add, not sure which it was now! He was also the voice of Watanuki in xxxHOLiC, although in his first appearance in Tsubasa, he was voiced by Vic Mignogna! Tagiru is fourteen, I think, so can Haberkorn pass for that age? That said though, given that he's in dubs for FUNimation, can he do dubs for other companies like Maravista, I think? Depends on the agreements they sign, I guess, however at one point, it seemed like the dub companies all had their own voice staff, although may be it was because the companies were just in different places of America, so it was hard to travel between them!
  11. It looks familiar, I'm just trying to think whether it's hentai, or just ecchi !
  12. You'll have to bare with me, whilst I blow the dust off review my LiveJournal ! I've not really used my LiveJournal much, since 2010, so there will be some dreams I haven't logged, but I don't remember most of them when I wake up, then there's some I remember for five minutes, but those usually also get forgotten, as to get up out of bed, is like admitting defeat ! I wonder if it's more bizarre to have a dream about everyday life, or something random ! Actually, when I was on holiday in Iceland (during it's season of 24 hour "day"), I dreamt about getting up twice, before getting up, looking at my LiveJournal, this appears to not be the first time I've done this, although it seems in the other instance, I dreamt of getting up four times! I think the easiest thing for me to do, is to compose a LiveJournal entry of my dreams, although I'm not sure I've made a record of them all, obviously any dreams after 2010 aren't listed, and I'm not sure when it was I had the dream where I was some sort of "one man space cavalry", rescuing people, and, I think, a "love interest", however I could be wrong on some of those details! Anyway, LiveJournal link to follow ! EDIT: Interestingly, the one post I want to be public, didn't want me to make it public, as it only gave me the options of "Friends", "Private" and "Custom", and when I've saved it, and tried to change the settings, it's decided to stick on "Connecting..."! Still, it's not important, as really the question is weirdest dream, not weirdest dreams - would you believe it, the moment I start ranting about it, it does it, anyway, so weirdest dream! I do think the idea of doing something ordinary in your dreams is pretty bizarre, actually from looking through my LiveJournal I found an entry where I dreamt about someone (although they dreamt about me first), and then dreamt that I told them about dreamming about them, before I told them in real life, however the reaction in the dream was different to real life, although it could be I baffled her by saying "I was going to say that I dreamt about you, however, before I could tell you, I dreamt about telling you that I dreamt about you", so her real life response was "oh right", whilst in the second dream, she asked about the first dream! That said, one of these two dreams might take the crown for weirdest dream: [spoiler=Climb to Heaven] I find myself climbing a stairwayish rock formation, which perhaps leads up to Heaven, don't think I'm climbing it because I died or anything that dramatic, but more as something to do; the first giant cube-esque rocks are quite easy to climb, but then as I get higher up the footholds seem to be harder to get into, unless you scale from the sides or underbelly of the cube-esque rock formation, but that means you have no "safety net", fall and you fall to your death, unlike scaling the front, fall, and you'll fall back down to the previous level, sure it will be painful, but you won't die; I look down, and God, it's a horrible sight, how high am I? I make an attempt of scaling the sides, but my limbs are shaking too much to do anything, so I sit in the middle of the top, shaking, and then a giant golden hand comes out of the clouds, I would presume it to be God, and he tells me to shake his hand, and it will be all over, and I do so, and find myself in Liverpool, just outside one of its train stations, still shaking I might add, and then someone else materialises, a short female with short blonde hair, I turn to her and say "God helped you out then too?", and she says "No, I got all the way up to the top myself", thinking about it, I kinda go a bit queesey, and my limbs throwing themselves about independently to my body; my right arm ends up linking into this girl's left arm, after, what could be probably described as accidently attacking her beforehand, I explain that I'm a bit queesey, she says she'll stay with me until I'm alright, and then we walk off, I wake up, the end! [spoiler=A hometown with a difference] It all begins with me heading out to my local train station, which (in the dream) is down a steep downhill slope, with a corner - weirdly enough, this isn't the first time that its been in this location, in my dreams; I feel that my shoes do not have enough grip on them to prevent me from sliding down the slope, and possibly off the edge (due to its sharp corner); I attempt to slowly slide down, in a sitting position - the tarmac was strangely soft; It turns out that this new course of action was a mistake, and I end up uncontrollably sliding down anyway, nearly falling off the edge; getting up, I see the alternative, and safer route, noting that it would have been better to have taken that route instead! I finally get to the station, which (in the dream) is much grander than it is in real-life, and board a train, however whilst it's moving I realise that I need to present a pass or ticket; patting my pocket, I find it to be empty, although, before a problem can arise, I find myself in a complete different situation - this is where it truely gets bizarre, and deserves the crown of the most bizarre dream I've had (and remembered))! Four different types of creatures attempt to hide in various places, with the process (the "hiding") being set to Benny Hill Music! During the process, there are stills of the five evolutionary stages of one of the creatures; after a while, the creatures get bored, and start eating each other; I (don't recall but I assume I must have) saved a young dark skinned boy during the panic, and I take him back to his house; his father answers the door, and thanks me, in French; noticing that I appear to not have understood him, he disappears inside, and a litle blonde haired fair skinned girl comes to the door, and says "thank you sir", to which I reply "sure, no problem, thanks", not understanding the word "thanks", she disappears inside! So there we have it, after reviewing my LiveJournal, those are my weirdest dreams, however, I did also have one dream, where I actually drew an item that featured in it, in Microsoft Paint: [spoiler=Dream Glasses] So the rest of my dreams can be found here: Some people call me the Space Cowboy - Side B! Read if you want, but no psycho-analysing !
  13. You know there's an anime of it? Well, it's just a one episode OVA, under the title of "Ai Mai! Moe Can Change!"! Whenever I think of the title, I can't help stressing the "e" at the end of "Change", like the Japanese; Ai Mai! Moe Can Chienji - apparently, looking at the hiragana! Interestingly, I didn't know it was based on a mobile phone game, or at least, I don't think I knew, although wouldn't have done me any good, as I still use an old phone !
  14. Admit it, when I stop spinning, I look much better than any frozen Windows egg timer !
  15. I'd say the Xros Wars ending is the same as most other series, it wants to offer you the chance to continue the story in fanfiction, or even for them to continue the story, as Audio Dramas! [spoiler=To be continued, or not]Initially Adventure, Tamers and Xros Wars didn't do this, however: Adventure was continued with 02 (and now -tri-), with the epilogue showing the chosen children and partners living in the real world; Tamers was continued with the movie Runaway Locomon, showing that the partners had returned to the real world; Xros Wars was continued with Hunters, with the epilogue showing that the partners has returned to the real world! Frontier doesn't reunite the chosen children with their legendary spirits, and Savers doesn't reunite the chosen children with their partners (although in the case of Masaru, he never left his partner)! However for Savers at least, their seperation is hinted as only being temporary (although a fair amount of time has passed in the timeskip to the epilogue), as the Digital Gate is closed until the distortions settle down, I think, plus Masaru's on the other side ! That said the Old Clock Man does drop a huge revelation at the end of the series, that could possibly made into a sequel !
  16. It's on Hau's page on Bulbapedia, it could be a typing mistake, although the only way I see it happening if they said "weak" instead of "strong" which, I see as an impossible slip up! True, such a character hasn't appeared in the games before, but I noted that a similar character had appeared previously in the movies! I guess it's kind of a middle ground, because you can have a solar or lunar eclipse! You can even have a terran eclipse, but well, you can't see that whilst on Earth ! You mean away from the normal meaning of S&M, or that they will take the normal meaning and apply it to Pokémon? True, but it's a quite bizarre idea! Wait, is this now the fate of the Pokémon not chosen!? The fact the female protagonist is wearing Litten shoes is a bit biased, but then Game Freak have always been biased towards fire types! Will we see more Pokémon clothes as customisable items? Looking at the male protagonist, you could say he's wearing Popplio shoes, so that's only Rowlett that hasn't been made into shoes! Hahaha, S&M, pushing the boundaries !
  17. Yeah, I can see that! Yeah, I can see that too, although I assume you'll be able to customise that look! Maybe he can look like a Team Magma grunt wannabe instead ! Ok, I don't see that! Although her hat does remind me of a character from one of the movies; Carlita! Actually thinking about it, she does remind me of Yui in K-On! though! She also appears to be showing us that Litten can be made into shoes ! I wonder if they released at any point, and is that they can't change it to M&S because Marks & Spencer would sue them ! Hang on, did Game Freak run out of inspiration for characters, I mean we've got: Hala, a Chuck look-a-like (Chuck-a-like?); Lillie, a female Tooi (Movie 7); the male protagonist, an Aqua wannabe; the female protagonist, a Carlita look-a-like (well not really, just the hat, and dark hair, but that can be changed)! You should have just stolen my ideas, Game Freak, and based this region on England, I thought I posted my ideas in enough places, with my contact details ! Not really, I noted my ideas in a couple of places, but I didn't put any contact details down, plus, they would have been in the same boat anyway, as it's not like I'd designed any characters, just the concept of a simplified map of England, with a route of travel: Start in south west of the region, and travel north, acquiring four badges, and reaching major city in the middle of the region; Travel to top of the region, and travel east, acquiring the next four badges, ending at a large city; Surf over to the island where the Elite Four and Victory Road can be found; Travel between new region and Kalos on an over sea rail link, starting at large city with eighth badge! I just need a comparison for Hau... - the love child between Roxie and Marlon? If anyone wanted, an image for the RotomDex can be found here, and here's a new video for the games too: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XW14HO7C1Dg
  18. So, after seeing @Ryuji's current avatar, I was reminded that more information on Sun and Moon was supposed to flood in, a couple of days ago, so just had a look on Bulbapedia now! To start off, Alola Chuck, Hala isn't the Pokémon Professor, it's Professor Kukui instead, although the fact that he's in the background when he's the professor, you would think that it's the other way around! Now our supposed rival, Hau, the kid that featured in the previous trailer, he does also receive a Pokémon from the regional professor, however, if I'm reading this right, he picks the Pokémon WEAK to your choice!? So does this mean he isn't the rival then? The new information did introduce another new kid, Lillie, who serves as a Professor's Aide, hates Pokémon battles, but loves reading books... hang on, haven't we already had a character like this? With this, it seems unlikely that Lillie will be this generation's rival, unless she becomes the rival in the third game, or a second paired game! I'm guessing that Lillie's storyline will involve her getting over her dislike of Pokémon Battles! However, for this game, it seems unlikely she will be the rival, unless she gets over her dislike really quickly! Ohh! Could we see the return of a rival that becomes Champion? Yeah, bit bizarre, these games aren't out yet, and I'm already thinking about whether they will be accompanied by a third game, or a second pair, or perhaps none at all, given that X and Y did not have a Z, or X2 and Y2! Still what would they call the third game this time round? I'm reminded of a trio of games from the Idolm@ster series; Perfect Sun, Missing Moon and Wandering Star, however the Sun is a Star, so I feel it wouldn't be right to call a third game "Star", "Planet" perhaps? The protagonists haven't got names yet, however we now have character art: male protagonist; female protagonist! When I was on Bulbapedia, I noticed something that I should have noticed earlier; when you shorten Sun and Moon to initials, they become S & M ! EDIT: Nearly forgot about that, apparently we're now getting a Rotom PokéDex, when I saw that, I thought it was going to be the Unown Dex from Generation II and IV, but no, it's a PokéDex that's merged with a Rotom! That's a pretty weird idea in my opinion, Game Freak wanted to do something different with the PokéDex, and decided to merge it with Rotom!
  19. Just had a look at your link, and a difference straight off, is the number of episodes; the anime has 12, whilst the live action has 8! Quite often, or most Live Series I've watched, they quite often have fewer episodes than the anime, and usually not 12, 13, 24, 25 or 26, only two exceptions being Cutey Honey and Negima!!; I believe Cutey Honey's 26 episodes, and Negima!! is 25 episodes, but I'd have to check! Thought I'd check what version was on kissanime (it's the anime), because sometimes, streaming sites aren't as "strict" to their name, in that a site with "anime" in their name might have cartoons or live action, on the grounds that they're anime styled cartoons, the live action's based on an anime, or that anime are cartoons, however let's not open that can of worms !
  20. Difference between the anime and live action? Not watched either version of Yamada-kun and the Seven Witches, so I couldn't really say in relation to this series, but usually Live Actions vary quite a bit from the anime (and manga)! I would say because of real world limitations, but that doesn't seem to always be the case, it's more like everything I guess (any book that gets adapted into a movie or series), they decide that what works in anime (and manga, although sometimes even they differ), wouldn't work in Live Action!
  21. Apologies for double post! As I was talking about TYPE-MOON earlier, why didn't I think of this: Carnival Phantasm A parody series featuring the cast of Fate/Stay Night and Tsukihime, where the Holy Grail War may be a game show, or it may be a wacky race, where bizarrer vehicles include a push bike and a Lion coin machine ride -Go! Lion Unit!-, and Lancer will die in EVERY episode! Each episode is 15 minutes, but broken up with a variety of sketches: TYPE-MOON Television Serial Sakura, featuring Sakura (obviously) in her daily life at home; Grail-kun, a personification of the Holy Grail, who offers the masters in the Holy Grail War with solutions -usually a knife- to their problems; Phantasmoon, Arcueid as the magical girl, battling against mushroom themed villains, and Akiha; Afterschool Back Alley Alliance, Satsuki, Sion and Riesbyfe as a comedy troupe; Taiga Dojo, Taiga and Ilyia usually closing the show! There's even extra episodes: "Ilyia's Castle" which, is kinda like a gameplay commentary; "Fate/Prototype" which, shows you what Fate/Stay Night originally looked like at one point; Season Special, focusing closer on the cafe, and its staff such as Hibiki and Chikagi (introduced in the last episode of the series); EX Special which, features Bazett and Caren, in a larger role than Race Queens (along with Sakura) in the Grand Prix episode! Just looking through the cast, oh yeah, forgot about that, Caster during the tennis element of the game show, where she wasn't in her shroud, and no-one knew who it was initially! I was just trying to figure out where Hanei and Yukika featured, but then I remembered that they featured in eyecatches, although they also had a brief appearance in the background too! That said, Hanei had a larger role, along with the others from Kagetsu Tohya in the manga, however for some reason they changed the Beach Volleyball tournament for the anime, Hisui is pretty amusing in that sketch! Anyway, I thought it was a good series, it's a shame that more wasn't made, I even thought of possible ways to continue it, given the appearance of Red Saber, and an old style footage of Taiga that appeared to be set in the school featured in Fate/Extra CCC (due to the building and the uniform); my ideas would continue with this inclusion of Fate/Extra into the series! [spoiler=Carnival Phantasm S2 - Mama no Iukoto wo Kikinasai!] So borrowing the premise of Papa no Iukoto wo Kikinasai!, BB is left in charge of five "children" after an older unknown relative goes missing: Passionlip - a clumsy girl, who loves to cook, but her long sleeves get in the way (reference to her claws in the game); Meltlilith - a haughty girl, who wears highheels (reference to her "feet" in the game, haven't got up to her point in the game yet); Kingprotea - a very tall girl, who loves gardening (reference to her height and the fact she's covered in moss); Kazudrop - a small girl, acts very traditional, a yamato nadeshiko (reference to her clothing choice); Violet - a haughty woman, has a rivalry with Taiga (when fighting against Taiga, uses a yo-yo, loosely referencing the manga)! The older relative did not leave the "children" to Sakura as she's too busy with the Health Committee -although if asked, she would try to manage both-, whereas BB is a member of the "Go Home Club", so has lots of free time! The roles of Rin, Rani and Leo should be pretty obvious, although possibly make them members of the Student Council, referencing the game! As for Jinako, she will be the president of a bizarre (or otaku club), who regularly causes problems for fellow member, Karna! Whilst Kirara will be a teacher, and the focus of attention for many of the male students, she also has a rude younger brother, Hans [Anderson]! The servants will also be students: Caster (Fate/Extra) - member of the tea ceremony club, has a rivalry with Saber (manga); Red Saber - member of the fencing club; Archer - member of the archery club; Saber (manga) - member of the kendo club, has rivalry with Caster (Fate/Extra)! Wonder if I should include the new Saber that is featuring in the new game on the way! The male and female protagonists will be twins, and a popular amongst their peers which, include the servants! When the "children" transfer into the school, and some/all show interest in the male protagonist, Caster (Fate/Extra) declares that perhaps she will love the female protagonist instead (a reference to her indifference to whether protagonist is male or female, although appears, according to TYPE MOON wikia, Saber and Passionlip take the same stance)! Apparently Chibichuki!'s full title is TYPE MOON Academy Chibichuki!, so I might have to check that manga series out, to see if any of what I've mentioned above, happens in that series! Looking at the "Similar Threads" suggestions below, it appears that I might be putting these mentions in the wrong thread, as this is for anime that will be arriving, but doesn't have a date, whilst I've been using it, mostly for anime that I'd like to see continued! EDIT: Actually, I've just thought of a relevant series, one that is to be released, with not release date: Girls' Work, initially announced as a visual novel in 2008, it changed to be an anime produced by ufotable, however we're eight years later, and it still hasn't materialised, even though there are character images: [spoiler=Ariso Miyamoto] latest?cb=20110729193456 That said, they could be images from when it was announced as a visual novel!
  22. I seem to have gotten out of anime soundtracks unfortunately, it appears I don't focus on them as much, however when I did, I must say that Tsubasa: RESERVoir CHRoNiCLE and RahXephon had some pretty good soundtracks! Tsubasa: RESERVoir CHRoNiCLE was scored by Yuki Kajiura, who also scored Mai-HiME, Mai-Otome (except for S.ifr), NOIR, MADLAX and El Cazador de la Bruja! Some of those were pretty good soundtracks too, but didn't get round to listening to them properly, back in the day! Tsubasa's soundtrack is actually so good, that when I read the first volume of the manga, the soundtrack was actually playing in my head, with the corresponding scene in the anime! RahXephon was scored by Ichiko Hashimoto, who also scored the short music video to CLOVER (a CLAMP manga, same as Tsubasa), and Code Geass -Agito the Exile-, so I need to watch that at somepoint! RahXephon has a pretty funky soundtrack, going through a range of different styles, Hashimoto even sings some songs herself! My mind says there might be an ALI Project scored series that I would nominate, but nothing springs to mind, other than Kaibutsu Oujo, CLAMP School Detectives and Wish (another CLAMP short music video)! Thinking about, Strawberry Panic! had a good soundtrack too, if I remember rightly!
  23. I've decided to replay Persona 3 Portable -Girl's Route- again, partly because I have two copies; bought a used limited edition on ebay, didn't realise it was used, and didn't realise that although it was a European Limited Edition, they were for some reason giving it with a US disc, so fault was on me, I didn't send it back, but bought a new limited edition too! Played through the European version, but decided to play through the US version now, as I was curious if the fact the Tatsumi Port Island map screen was in French was mistake only on the European version, or if it was on the US version too! Plus, Rio and Saori are just great characters (I really wanted to protect Saori from the injustices done to her - I think I seriously have protection complex), and "Hamuko" (female protagonist) is great too! I think the music's even better on the Girl's Side, even though it's instrumental rather than vocal as on the Boy's Side! [spoiler=Why is "Hamuko" great?] She's an energetic outgoing character, who apparently, might have even achieved what the male protagonist didn't! [spoiler=The End] It's thought that when the protagonist goes to sleep right at the end of the game, given how strong the female protagonist's social links have been forged, she doesn't take the eternal rest, like the male protagonist does! Actually, not only can she save herself from death (apparently), but she can also save Shinjiro back from death which, is something I need to do this time around! That said, I was playing Persona (PSP) until recently, but the fact you're always in the dungeon gets a bit grating, although it appears that Elly is a great choice to have on your team, as any spells seem to just wash off her back; I was actually going to recruit Yuka as my final party member, as she is apparently the only P1 character to not feature in Persona 2, however I encountered Elly first! After watching a couple of the cutscenes to Resident Evil 4, I've been bitten -not by Las Plagas -, and thinking I should get back to Resident Evil 4, after all, Ashley's not going to save herself, although she did call me a pervert twice when I tried to save her; first when I went to retrieve her, after leaving her at the top of the bell tower, and the second when I got caught in an explosion, and landed right in front of her! I'm reminded of the words of Han Solo: No reward's worth this! That said, I plan to finish Lost Dimension (PS3) first -and here I was originally thinking I'd be playing Time and Eternity next (where your MARRIAGE hangs in the balance from the events of the game!?)! Oh there's Dragon Crown too, think I have that for PS3! I was also planning to play Akiba's Trip, but I found out that it's the second game, so might try to get the first game first! Speaking of Resident Evil 4 which, I have on PS2, there's other PS2 games, I've been meaning to play, like La Pucelle which, is a spin-off of Disagea, featuring Prier! Actually that's reminded me, there's also Mana Khemia, stumbled across the disc to that recently, not played that in a while, then there's also Magna Carta, Shinobi and Nightshade! Sticking with Resident Evil, need to complete the other games at somepoint, including Revelations, the ones that feature Rachel in (again my protection complex is kicking in)! Need to get round to playing the second Persona 4 Ultimax game too, although thinking I might replay the first game (on a fresh console) to refresh myself of the previous game's events, then at somepoint, I'll buy a Vita, and play Dancing All Night, introducing Kanamin and her "crew"! Speaking of Ultimax, I actually came up with a continuation to the series, in which the events of the game are threatening (the previously unknown) multiverse, and this leads to Hamuko coming over from the "Girl's Side" universe to assist in saving the multiverse! It would also throw in bits like how Hamuko made friends with Rio and Saori, and then the other bits featured in the "Girl's Route" of P3P!
  24. Another series I need to get round to watching, at somepoint! The anime or live action?
  25. [spoiler=Spoiler]Oh, that's quite true, I've seen "shi" and "tsu" romanised as "si" and "tu"! I actually thought it was Famicomi, unless I'm getting confused with SoniComi (Super Sonico game) ! I guess another "m/n" example is "sempai/senpai", in that I'm guessing it's only written as "senpai", but can be pronounce either way! Yeah, I'm also aware about "ko" for "co"! True, places wouldn't usually be mispelt, although that hiragana for Tottori is really doing a number on my brain, in regards to the small "tsu", I understand what it's for, it's the "tt", but how it works is baking my noodle; something like repeat consonant before vowel? Yeah so to get back to the thread's topic, the Hypnos element of Tamers was good, Yamazaki was a good character! Actually, that wasn't too on topic, let's try again, yeah, she is most probably going to be a red herring! Although that brings up the question, who is the real villain? Just batting some ideas round in my brain, but keep hitting a wall: Alphamon is the main villain, if so, what are his motives? If the government created the infection, as a way of beating rogue Digimon, is Alphamon not really a villain? That said, he looked pretty villaineous, controlling the Kuwagamon! How does "the Kaiser" fit in, was he being controlled/an illusion by Alphamon? How does Meicoomon fit in? Was Meicoomon the first infected, or was used to make the infection? Ok, I've got a possible story outline, could be completely wrong: Meiko and Meicoomon meet; Meiko and Meicoomon meet Himekawa; The government requests Himekawa to bring in Meicoomon to study; The government develops a rogue Digimon countermeasure, the infection; Meicoomon appears unaffected by the infection, so deemed a failure, Meiko is not told that Meicoomon was infected, and Himekawa only finds out after; Meicoomon unknowingly infects other Digimon; Alphamon decides to destroy the source of the infection, Meicoomon; Digimon Adventure -tri- begins! That said, there is the question of how Meicoomon could infect other Digimon, as the Digital Gates were closed until -tri-, I think, and also doesn't explain why the 02 quartet were defeated at the start of -tri-, why the original eight don't acknowledge them as absent, or why they were hostile towards "Ken"! I'm guessing that the government is probably in possession of Ken's D3 and D-Terminal! That's a thought, could the infection have adapted from the darkness in the D3? Although that would go against my possible story outline! Altenatively, given the similarities between Meicoomon++ and Diaboromon, could Diaboromon be the infection, in that the government had a sample of Diaboromon stored from either the events of Our War Game or Diaboromon Strikes Back! Another thing that's sprung to mind, is the Dark Spore kids that became chosen children, whatever happened to them?
