  1. I disagree with Light's idea of justice and how criminals should be treated. I think that criminals should be rehabilitated when possible. The only time that I see something like the death penalty suitable is if the criminal can't change, either if they don't make any effort to or they mentally can't. Because of this, is see Light's method as too harsh. While it could be argued that it works at a deterrence, it's too severe. Don't get me wrong, I'm not sympathising with criminals. It's just that the instant death penalty Light gives them is too severe. If you were referring to Light's fate at the end of the series,
  2. My opinion on my favourite characters change all the time. At the time my favourite is Envy from FMA. He's really evil and ruthless, but weak and sad on the inside. Envy's final scene had me tearing up, which is strange since he is supposed to be a villain. Out of all the characters from FMA, Envy is by far my favourite. And since FMA is on my mind a lot recently, that makes him my favourite overall.
If you liked Brotherhood, but like darker and grittier anime, this is for you. This version isn't as faithful to the manga, due to the fact that the manga wasn't finished when this was released. It changes large parts of the story, adds new characters and has a very different ending. In general, I like this anime adaptation more than FMAB. It focuses more on morality and the consequences of the actions that happen through the story. Also, the death of a certain character (you know who) impacted me a lot more in this version, so if you want to suffer that event again, watch this!
  3. Yeah, PG tips is one of the best, your friend has good taste. Yorkshire Tea and Twinings are also good.
  4. I love English breakfast tea

How much do you know about the part that started it all? SPOILER WARNING
  6. Kaneki and Touka Rin and Shiemi And finally, Jonathan and Erina
  7. I'd be very scared if someone like Madara Uchiha or Ainz Ooal Gown suddenly asked me to go out with them.
  8. Re:Zero is really good, and a season 2 is in the works.
  9. I just finished watching the OVA for Imawa no Kuni no Alice (Alice in Borderland) after reading the manga a while ago. I thought it was great, and I highly recommend it. I was just wondering if anyone else here has seen it, and what their opinions were on it.
  10. I loved L and Light's constant mind games, Light's complex plans and Ryuk's character in general.
  11. Just finished Noragami. Such a wholesome ending, and kind of a shock to see Yato's father. I really enjoyed it all. The story was compelling and the characters lovable. Kinda sad that there's no signs of a season 3 though.

  12. Death Note: I'm watching it at the moment. I'm finding it really good, but I don't know how I feel about it after I've watched the first 2 seasons, and I plan on watching the 3rd some time soon. I watched SAO, but gave up after they started with the guns and all that. I can't say I enjoyed what I saw either. I watched several episodes of FMA, but got distracted by other stuff. From what I saw it looks really good though. I absolutely love One Punch Man. The comedy is amazing and the animation is god-tier. I really liked Tokyo Ghoul. I preferred season 1 the most. For some reason I find Tsukiyama side-splittingly funny. Never watched Steins Gate, but I plan to in the near future. I loved No Game No Life. The art style is probably the main reason. I'll always love Naruto, probably because it introduced me to anime. I've never watched Angel Beats! but I might one day. My favorite anime is JoJo's Bizarre Adventure. The story and characters are awesome. I can't tell you how much I love JoJo
  13. Nice to meet you too! Thanks for the warm welcome!
  14. Hi all. Compared to most of you, I’m pretty new to anime. I watched my first anime, Naruto, about 4 years ago. Since then I’ve just watched/read whatever in between school, work and games. I’m probably out of my depth here, so forgive me if my lack of knowledge is painful! Anyway, thanks!
