  1. Hello and welcome Are you related to the Globgoglabgalab?
  2. Thank you! I'm actually planning on following through with that idea. I've done a lot of the worldbuilding already and might write a short story/prologue to introduce the main character at some point before I start writing a full book. I'm sure I'll be caught up soon, I'm getting through episodes pretty fast (for me, at least).
  3. That's similar in nature to one of the weapons from my story which allows for Electromagnetic manipulation. Its users can basically shoot ionising radiation or induce particle decay in their enemies

    Who I am

I've never noticed you could read it like that before lol. My auto correct always corrects it to "my thy call you"
  5. I like the OP magic types so probably something like light magic or spatial if it were to do with actually controlling space-time rather than just opening portals. What about you?
  6. I really like the different types of magic and the fight scenes tend to be awesome too. Need nothing be said about the intros I have too many favorite characters lol but I think if I had to choose 4 it'd be Noelle, Vanessa, Luck and Zora (at the moment anyway) I also feel like I'm the only person in the world whose main ship is Vanessa and Finral (and yep, I know they end up interested in other people ).
  7. The worst thing is that the intros are animated really nicely and then they do THAT @Amali The S;G has really great music but also atmosphere as well. For me I think 'Blue' from Cowboy Bebop and 'Jesus Bleibet Meine Freude' from NGE are my big emotional ones.
  8. I'm now on Episode 87 and it's all I want to watch lol. I'll have to avoid this thread a little while longer until I'm caught up

    Who I am

My idea at the moment is a sci-fantasy about eight swords that each possess a certain ability that allows it to manipulate some natural phenomena (i.e. phase transitions (solids, liquids, gases, plasma), space-time, causality, etc). Each of them are spread out across different empires and kingdoms who are competing to control them. I'm still figuring everything out at the moment. Early stages, as I say. What are your books about and is there somehow I can check the out?

    Who I am

Welcome to the forum! I'm a fan of Fate as well and I'm trying to write a book too (very early stages)
  12. Any Star Trek fans on here? If so then what's your favorite show, characters, episodes. It's probably the thing I've been a fan of the longest since my mum bought me all the series on DVD when I was a kid.
  13. Here's another hardcore one I forgot about!
  14. Rinkimirikakuta. Bit of a mouth full lol My mums would be Kutakizikazukuchiri, which is even worse!
  15. @RuthisianCodex I aim to please @IIVIsouljam The music from the new Berserk was probably the only positives from that series. Imagine how good it would be if it weren't animated in a tin can
  16. Hello and welcome! I am also a cat person. We currently have two cats but we did have six at one point
  17. As there's been a few openings posted, I thought I'd post some too. These are for if you're partial to hardcore rock/metal Shingeki no Bahamut Darker than Black (OP1) Chaos Dragon
  18. @Seshi The Psycho-Pass OP is so unique visually, definitely one of my favorites. I can't remember the name of the person who came up with it but she's (I think it's a she) done a couple of other intros for different shows that were just as unique. I also love how much Sesshomaru is in that ending
  19. Taragon and Parsley are my go-to fish seasoners. For salmon I usually season with salt, garlic, black pepper and either of the afformentioned. I experimented a bit by adding Dill and Majoram but they're pretty weak seasoners tbh. For some reason I always think of trout as a dull, boney salmon, though that could just be the ones my grandma bought and she never seasoned them lol. As for catfish - it looks amazing, unfortunately my local supermarket don't sell it so I'll have to find a fish monger when the quarantine is finished. Oh, and we musn't forget Mackrel in tomato sauce
  20. @RuthisianCodex Ah, thanks! I was listening through the embed
  21. If you want to go even simpler, one of my favorite lunches to have at the moment is pasta, seasoned with taragon and salt, and if it's too dry you can add some olive oil. Sounds almost too simple but I love it I consider my general diet to be pretty much a budget one. I'm pescatarian and there's nothing better to me than some vegetables, mashed potatoes and a piece of fish (usually salmon or sea bass, but I love haddock or cod too!).
  22. Haven't listened to all of it but I especially like 19:41-23:16. What show is that from? Almost forgot about the awesome Wolfs Rain OST as well (yet more melancholy):
  23. Once upon a time I used to enjoy songwriting and dabbled in music for a while (mainly hip hop). I'm told I was pretty good too but life takes you by the scruff of the neck and you end up doing other things. I had a year in secondary school where I was obsessed with theoretical physics and spent tons of time reading up on all sorts of stuff, even wanting to become an astrophysict when I was older. Then I went to college and realised I'm actually terrible at Maths lol. I think these days I enjoy writing, or more specifically world building. I do A LOT of world building in my head, not so much gets put to paper lol. The main difference with writing is I'm actually decent at it, I'm just lazy.
  24. I recently finished watching Steins;Gate with my university flat mate who'd never seen anime before in his life. He really enjoyed it, mainly because of the sinister vibe you get in the background of the first half of the series. His reaction to Episode 12 was also predictably priceless
