    Just found out one of my staff's mom was tested positive for covid. Have to close the store, get a professional cleaning service and self isolate for 10 days. 

    She was like, I'm not sure what to do to help you guys. Which was incredibly sweet of her. Told her to go home rest and to give our best to her mom. I would feel more for her mom then the business if she never recovered.

      Pft. I just did progress checks on everyone and checked in on their thoughts with covid two days ago. Had to do it with a coworker because they all say I'm to nice when grading and giving feedback. I have a lot of high schoolers who work for me. I want them to leave this job feeling confident and have a strong sense of self worth. So, yes...they do mean a lot to me :)

      But yes, I agree. Its not worth it getting upset at someone for something like this. I could get sick just grabbing groceries by making a mistake. And the staff let us know asap so its good.

      Because we have a lot of minors, I asked them to get their parents permission on continuing to work if they want to. 

      I really want transparency in this matter. :/
