  1. Yeeeah, wouldn't really want to rely on something that has a finite number of uses in that sort of situation. Figure if I get a full backpack worth of stuff though, I might as well toss it in.
  2. That definitely clarifies things. In that case... small first-aid kit, assorted tools, emergency shelter, thermal blankets, a few bottles of water, some fortified food (to keep us going as we figure out what to do about local sources), compass, good knife, rope, and a pistol, because why not? Compact enough to fit in just fine, and might come in handy for something or another. Small ax, too? My backpack already contains most* of these things for when we go hiking (in large part because @Cy~ tends to be very safety-minded... especially compared to me), with room to spare, so I know it'd fit. * I'll leave it up to your imagination which are and are not part of our regular load.
  3. I'll assume that food / water wouldn't be an issue, given some wits. How many items are permitted? I guess a good knife would be good for utility purposes? Then maybe a magnesium fire starter? Yuyuko. ... wait, that wasn't the question. Oh. Okay. Reimu all the way. I need her homing attacks in order to actually get anywhere in those games. Pff... Marisa sure as heck didn't steal my precious thing - Patchy all the way. Remilia, by far. Flanre's wings are just weird.

I mean, that's nice and all, but like ... Forza. Proper Forza. Not that goofy spin-off. On PC. <3<3 ... okay, okay, I'll stop.
  5. It's a recurring cycle of melting reconstituting.
  6. Welcome to AF! :)

Always good to see new faces around here! Hope you stick around. :)

  7. Less a matter of bragging on you, more a matter of feeling that you're way too humble about certain things.
  8. 0/10 :'( Where'd all those purdy avatars of yours go?
  9. I wish there was a "D:" sort of reaction, so that one could express sympathy and solidarity. Instead, I'll like your post, despite not liking the fact that your heart rate is too high! Hope things cool off and calm down soon.
  10. Bask in the coolness! Own it! Even if you're not intending to work in the field (and honestly, that seems like the sort of thing that I'd be interested in learning about, with zero desire to actually work in the field), how many people can say that they've done any of that?
  11. If I could deal with all of my support issues via chat, email, forum, or any other text-based medium I would never make another support call on the telephone ever again. I don't like trying to understand folks through bad connections, thick accents, obtuse numerical menus, and things of that sort. If I'm dealing with something via text, I can multi task, have loud music playing, and what not. Phone support to me means waiting on hold for a ridiculous amount of time, ear to the phone / headset / etc, ready to respond at a moment's notice whenever someone gets around to me.
  12. Doesn't keep it from being cool!

FORZA 7 CONFIRMED FOR PC. Okay, this is actually an awesome e3. <3<3<3<3
  14. I really like night, and early evening as well. Early mornings can be beautiful in their own right as well, though.
  15. I'd snog @Cy~ ... I've already married her, so... I'll marry @Kohloo ... since I've spoken with her the most out of the folks on the forum, and she's a lot of fun. Try not to hate me too much! I'll avoid ... I'll avoid @drill ... he's no longer active on the forum, it seems, so I don't have to feel bad for singling him out!
  16. That'd be a little weird, since I never did get that impression from him! I'd try to let him down gently.
  17. I managed to avoid doing IT for friends/family, for the most part by just being an anti-social shut-in as a teenager and young adult. People would try to enlist my help, only to be met with complete and utter laziness. Even the most desperate pleas could not move the immovable! ... then I went and got an actual IT job, which included overlooking every IT related thing in the company, and providing support and help to every single idiot employee. With zero formal training. I still have legit nightmares about that.
  18. Letzee... Was responsible for making Cy~'s forum software beautiful. Have written my own PHP scripts for various uses, despite not really knowing anything about coding, scripting, or PHP itself. Yeah. I went from working as a locksmith in a company to administrating the collective totality of everything IT-related, including their antiquated green screen mainframe system that ran the entire company. I'm good at cheating in PC games. Seriously, I've done some fun things with a memory editor and debugger. I repaired a non-functional NES console, taking it from a useless paper weight to 100% functional. I buy expensive headphones, so when/if they develop issues I take steps to repair them myself. Uhhh... some other things, I think, but this is all that comes to mind. You mean you can be angry?
  19. Welcome to the forum! I hope to see you out and about, posting up a storm!
  20. I was ten years old when I first watched the original television broadcast of Dragonball. I didn't even know what anime was at the time, or that it was a Japanese show - I just knew that it was weird and kind of cool.
  21. Now hitting the guy I banned with my cell phone, a Note 4 that I inherited from Cy~. It wasn't very effective!
