@RepentantSky, What's your favorite game developer?
-
You've been to Vegas? How do you like it, apart from the weather? I went for the buffets. I stayed for the buffets. I left several pounds heavier.

Let's see here... I've got a bit of a head-start on people here, since I've been taking some of them while Cy~ has been preparing this thread. DND Class test! I'm an avenger. Hogwarts test! I'm... a fucking mess of a human being! I am... yandere! DND Alignment? I'm ... chaotic neutral! My personality Type? Melancholic! And there we go!

Oh Gawd, I know that feeling. Cy~ and I both have finite social HP that needs to be replenished by hiding in our apartment after dealing with other human beings in person a lot. Super happy to hear about this! Hope y'all have a ton of fun.

Serious question: Have you tried Thai food yet? If not, why not?
-
@Cy~ You've been working on that thread for a fair little while now, how is it going?
-
@GreenEyes, If I were to hand you one million dollars in cash, right this second, with the understanding that you'd have only ten minutes to spend it all, what would you do?
-
@ItsSammy Do you prefer Japanese, Thai, or Chinese food?
-
@Renee Tell me about your favorite foods. A few of them, at least.
-
@brycec, You mentioned being on vacation recently. Where'd you go, and what'd you do?
-
@RepentantSky, What are your current impressions of E3 this year?
-
@Orius, that was a masterful post! What are your favorite horror movies?
-
Ringu is a bloody work of art. I think you might like it!

Hrm... I floogin' love the Trans-Siberian Orchestra, rather like some of Devin Townsend's stuff, particularly the Ziltoid albums, and I'm fairly fond of Nightwish... I'm drawing a blank on other bands, though. I tend to like metal that doesn't feature goofy growling or SUPER EDGELORD LYRICS, basically.

@Cy~ nearly gnawed my face off after I beat her several times while introducing her to the game. Agreed. Totally agreed. Completely agreed. I like modern conveniences, I like modern equality, and all that jazz.

I used to find a lot of new music using Pandora, but more recently I've just been stumbling upon things via Youtube, for the most part.

Can I just say that I fully and utterly agree with these? I was happy that Re:Creators had some fun at the expense of the former, tbh.

What's on the watch list?

Then they just became more and more boring, until we table flipped. Despite the fact that there are some weirdos out there that insist that THINGS WERE BETTER BACK IN THEM THERE OLDEN DAYS, I am firmly of the opinion that the past sucked.

Just reading the descriptions was enough to make me do a double-take, in some cases. I love the concepts, but I'll be waiting until there's a very strong stand-alone game client before I start digging too deeply into those weeds. I like coming up with creative rules for monopoly - whenever I'd play it with my acquaintances we'd always have a lot of ridiculous 'deals' and 'contracts' on the side, that we'd keep track of in a notebook... this had the unfortunate side effect of causing many games to reach into an infinite stalemate. I also had a custom ruleset for Sorry! that turned the game into a semi-strategic two-player brawl, which was pretty fun. I'll have to investigate this game sometime! Any point in the past? Five minutes before my departure five minutes into the past. Truth of the matter is that I don't think I'd be happy trying to live my life in any other era, for a multitude of reasons.

Same! Her moveset was really cool, I was just pretty dreadful at making proper use of it, tbh. I love pizza! I'm trying to avoid pizza at the moment! Yay, diets! I make ultra-thin crispy crust pizzas using tortillas sometimes, which are delish. More recently though I've started experimenting with thick crust pan pizzas... made my first one on Friday, which was delicious --- though it didn't come out quite as planned! Going to try again soon. For toppings, I think my favorite is just pepperoni and salami. Every now and then I like to go fancy and get something like pepperoni, salami, sliced sausage, and banana pepper, but that's kind of rare. The weirdest pizza I ever had featured BBQ sauce instead of tomato sauce, and was topped with pepperoni, salami, glazed ham, pulled pork, bacon, and uh... some other types of pork. It was delicious. And dangerous. When it comes to crust, I often prefer thin crusts, though I'm also a sucker for stuffed crust... sadly though, I don't know of any place that does stuffed crust that are actually good. Pizza Hut definitely doesn't count.

I used to play 10.5 (and 12.3 to a lesser degree) all the damn time, to be honest! I was never a SUPER DUPER PRO GAMER GURL, but I got pretty decent I'd like to think. I think I was also one of the first people to find and publish a way to disable the weather effects on gameplay, right after it first came out... typhoon always brought me to rage when the game was new. Eventually I got over it though, and learned to love the random. I love all of those characters, Reisen and Reimu in particular - I was okay with them, but never really got particularly good. Never really reached any degree of reasonable competency with Sakuya, though. Fair point, that - I've just had really good luck in using it to string along some pretty impressive stuff. Adventures looks interesting, but I think I'd stick to playing it via PC - from the brief lookover I gave it once, it seemed like a lot of the stuff in it would be a bit of a pain to keep track of manually. Cy~ and I are hoping to scoop up those other sets, though. Exploding Kittens is a charming little party game that I enjoy playing with folks. Other than that... haven't really tried many modern board games, I'm sad to say. I love Monopoly and Scrabble though.
