Rate the Anime above you!

6/10 Basically, the plot of this anime is overpowered perverted protagonist+bewbs+pissing fetish. Actually, this is one of the few anime where the protagonist actually gets away with being a pervert, as a guy I can watch it cuz bewbs. That may not be true though of the other half of the population. It's blatant fan service and doesn't even bother trying to hide it. Jyu Oh Sei -
Let's see, when I was little I was terrified of the prospect of leeches attaching themselves to my balls, so I used to swim with one hand, the other one over my crotch especially in small lakes. When I was little I also both dared myself to drink my piss and did so. When I was really little I also saw a commercial where people strip naked and run outside leaving a trail of clothes, naturally, I followed suit. My dad followed the trail of clothes and found me going down the slide but naked. He'll never forget that one. When I was in high school I had sort of a crush on a girl, the only problem being, I intended to never acknowledge this fact and completely avoid her until I graduated. A girl who seemed to be crushing on me that I wasn't interested in but figured I would humour in order to get along with her, one day asked who I liked, I unconsciously glanced towards the other girl, she caught on and started getting all pissed. I denied that I was attracted the other girl as I knew she was out of my league, and my primary concern was to save face and remain the loner I've always been. Anyhow this other girl kinda caught on and I hid my head in shame as it lit up like a red beet until class was over. Normally I have a decent poker face so I can hide my emotions fairly well. The girl that liked me started talking behind my back with her friends whenever I was nearby, which wasn't fun. Anyhow, I never interacted with the girl I had a crush on and avoided her throughout the rest of school, with as stoic a poker face I could muster. From that instance, I learned not to be overly friendly with girls I wasn't interested in, in order to avoid the aforementioned situation. In College, I thought I would "keep my options open" which led to a messy situation, albeit purely platonic, which I'm ashamed to admit I never apologised for. I hurt a girl's feelings and although I was intensely remorseful at the time, I am less so now, as it turns out she was the type to date multiple guys at once and even had a "sugar daddy". I'm still sorry for hurting her, but I'm glad I never got involved with her, she hated her boyfriend. Also, I haven't talked to my former best friends or anyone from I knew from high school or before in three years. Life has more or less moved on, and it is entirely my fault it has ended up this way. Sadly I never got close to anyone in college either. I'm an extremely awkward person.

8/10 Fun, decent action, giant robot, less focus on the main characters bewbs and more on the side characters, was it aliens they were fighting? I can't remember. Something to do with evolution. kyoukai no kanata -
There's a kid on an island in the ocean and he leaves his home to take the hunter exam and become a hunter, he fights with a fishing rod. Along the way, he makes friend with a boy with red eyes and an aspiring doctor, also competing to become hunters, later an assasin boy. It's more or less a tournament-style anime, set in a unique fantasy world, it's pretty good. It's older though, so be prepared for not so good graphics, actually, I heard they might have made a remake, haven't watched it. If you don't mind old, I highly recommend yu yu hakusho.

One piece is completely ridiculous, still it has a warm place in my heart, Sidonia no Kishi is a good mecha anime but maybe too serious for your taste. Demonbane is a good mecha one. Kakumeki valvrave another mecha.

Do you ever look back and think the people you were are total strangers? It's difficult to even empathise with them sometimes they are so strange.

Oh shit just realised, Highschool of the dead combines all of your presumed interests, romance surrounding a dude, boobs, killing zombies with a nail gun, it's also pretty good Maoyuu Maou Yuusha Highschool dxd for pure ecchi hagure yuusha no esthetica, this on the other hand is only really directed at one organ in the human body, just a hint, it's not above the neckline. I have no excuses, really though, I was bored as all hell. kill la kill isn't a romance but you'll like it rosario + vampire is your thing bloodlad needless yu yu hakusho beelzebub kekkaishi shikibane hime hamatora kurokami fate stay series Tokyo Majin Gakuen Kenpuchou, desert punk must watch jyu oh sei code geass psycho pass black lagoon Darker than black is one of my favourite anime of all time, watch it great teacher onizuka sankarea is right up your alley, zombie girl, surprisingly charming gangsta golden time seikon no qwaser, you have a lactating fetish? Actions not bad all things considered. Compelling characters, just a little warped like most things anime. ga rei zero claymore ruroini kenshin speed grapher 5 centimetres per second and the garden of words for actual quality romance Bakemonogatari and other series were really good, pro tip anything with Monogatari after it are sequels I'm not sure what perspective Kaze no stigma is from but that one wasn't bad -
Do you get sick of watching a certain show?

All action no plot then yes. You can put all the explosions and power-ups you want in a show if it's got no plot, it's going to get dull. -
Most underrated anime or anime character?
existentiallylostdumbell replied to Cy~'s topic in Anime Discussion
Desert Punk is one of my favourite anime of all time, especially that blue-haired chick Basilisk was good but sad, it's an action tragedy. Haven't seen the other two. I've watched the series for Rurouni Kenshin but not the movies, maybe I should -

If innocence is to be defined as the absence of something then I suppose it is value-less, the value of nothing is nothing. It has no value, positive or negative because it is an absence. You're right. The value of innocence then is potential value, as it is an empty vessel and can be filled with anything, the real question is what is the value of what is replacing it. What replaces it must be equal to the possibilities it entails, otherwise it is a loss. That's subjective. As for the chicken and the egg, you must define something as profane before you define it as something you shouldn't say, otherwise why would you bother doing so. The meaning profane had to come before the notion of should not say, otherwise there would be no impetus for it. Unless you believed some god or something said you shouldn't say a word for no apparent reason and then defined it as profane. Possible, but I still think profane came first.

What value does innocence have? Whereas being fully knowledgeable allows us to spot danger in this world and protect ourselves is there still a value to preserving our innocence? I've seen some relatively messed up things on the internet, some of which I would rather I hadn't. Seeing them proffered no value to my life and disturbed me. Some things we are better off just not knowing or seeing. But not all things prohibited are necessarily harmful, take profanity, for instance, it's just words and yet some people impress so much importance onto it as to make movies restricted. It's the social taboo placed on profanity that makes it so scorned, not any real aspect of profanity itself. I started watching p*** when I was 10, I'm 21 now and I can't point to any specific negative effects p*** alone has had on me. I suppose if you're religious though this topic becomes a little more delicate, and other values other than utilitarianism are at play. Please note this has nothing to do with moderators or anything. I realise that some things must be prohibited in order to make this site an inclusive place and probably legal implications as well. Also, I don't think people should ruin Santa for kids, I remember believing Santa was real and it made me happy, to a certain extent I think the delusions of childhood should be protected. Thoughts?

Creepiest Anime Character
existentiallylostdumbell replied to Bakuganfan01's topic in Anime Discussion
Gilles De Rais from fate zero was based on a guy from 1400 who campaigned along Joan of Arc and kidnapped boys, sexually abused them and then killed them. In terms of visual creeps, there's Ryuk from death note. -

Hi, I recently graduated College and am in need of a job. I have heard that it's all about who you know in this world, I have no friends. As such I've joined this forum in hopes that it will increase my social skills by a modicum so I can figure out how to network, get a job, move out and hopefully not stay a loser for the rest of my life. To that end, aside from joining this forum, I plan to purchase and read how to win friends and influence people and make horribly, painfully awkward bash my own head in small talk with Starbucks baristas. My favourite anime are: Darker than black, phantom requiem, Gintama, black lagoon, Psycho pass, Berserk, Tokyo Ghoul, Mushishi , Great teacher Onizuka and really I've seen so many at this point that I have to stretch to remember them all. Full metal alchemist too, everyone seems to think brotherhood was darker but I think the older one was, and better too. There wasn't a final happy ending, grimness lends things a certain reality that the typical upbeat anime ending doesn't. What we remember most vividly is what disturbs and saddens us. Favourite anime romance: The garden of words, five centimetres per second. A great normal romance, lost in translation. My hobbies are lifting, taking boxing lessons. Douzo Yoroshiku. I don't speak Japanese.
