He does. That is actually the fight that I've been waiting for this entire time.

While I did like this week's episode, and Kirin is starting to become my favorite character, they are really just throwing Julis away, and kinda killing the show in doing so. I kinda hope they wrap up Kirin's arc soon, and get back to preparing for the tournament, and perhaps actually fighting in it before season 1 ends.

To be honest, this new guy doesn't seem as bad or as threatening as they make him out to be. He's just a spoiled rich kid who always gets his way. And yes, this episode needed much more Mari in it.

Pretty good episode this week. I am a bit surprised on how they have handled this arc, as while the changes are slight, I felt that they were things that shouldn't have been changed due to a bit less character development across the board. Also, Kuraudo was made out to be cooler in the manga as well. Even so, I look forward to next week's episode.

Actually, I ended up just watching the anime without reading the manga. Not really sure if I have the time to start reading this anytime soon with everything else I've planned to do. Perhaps I'll at least try starting it on Sunday.

Oh cool! Someone else who is finally interested in this manga Hope you enjoy it! Personally, I found the first 2/3rds of this manga to be amazing, but recently, it hasn't really been living up to how it started out, imo. You might have a different opinion about the last third thats been released so far of the manga though, so don't mind me, and just try reading it.

Just started watching this today. Only on episode 4 though. So far, Mari is an amazing character. I ship her and Takeru together. Also, it was actually rather enjoyable to see the bad guy have what seemed like an upper hand until the very last second, they really did well in the suspense in that last fight scene, imo. Lapis has a great personality that seems to fit with Takeru quite well. This is quickly becoming one of my favorites this season.

You know, I completely forgot about this manga. It's been sitting on my plan to read list for over a year and a half now. Perhaps I'll try it out this weekend if I get the chance.

I'm going to be honest, I kinda agree with FSL on this one. I've tried gaming with people and didn't have a mic, and using text when everyone else was speaking kinda ruined the experience. Also, I'm not really against either idea, but I will be honest, I don't talk a lot out loud. And overall, I think text chat would probably have less issues (bad mics that cause static, people who don't talk loud enough, etc.) So if we are just picking one method, text chat would probably be best (at least for starting out).

After a year of being on here, I’ve noticed that more often than not, that many users might already have an idea on what anime they like, but haven’t a clue when it comes to manga. As such, there are some suggestions listed below based on what you might like: Do you like extremely long titles that get released rather frequently, along with a unique Shounen twist in it? If so, you might actually be more interested in Manhwa (Korean manga pretty much). Here are a few titles that you might want to start off with: Tower of God This is quite an interesting title as there are so many plot twists, and has great fight scenes and character development as well. As many titles that run for a long time, it does start to make quite a few of the characters more generic past around chapter 180 or so. Magician The first Manhwa I’ve ever read. It has an excellent blend of adventure and action, and does quite well with world building. Like Tower of God though, it starts to make some characters more generic later on, but sadly, I would say that it does it more so than Tower of God. Ah, and I need to mention, don’t let the artwork at the beginning turn you off, it gets better rather quickly. However, maybe a long running action/adventure story really isn’t your thing, and you’re looking for something more relaxing. These few titles are slice of life, and are quite relaxing (and quite cute as well). Love So Life I’ve only just started reading this one, so I can’t actually say too much about it, but everything about the manga so far is really heartwarming. I think one of the main reasons why I like it so much is the MCs flashbacks are a lot darker than the story itself which helps contrast and explain certain decisions she might make during the present. Nukoduke! A story about little cat people called Nukos who live with their owner Yuuya and their every day lives. Its a rather short manga as it has very few pages per chapter, and really doesn’t focus too much on character development, but rather just being an extremely cute slice of life. Finally, maybe you are looking to read a high school manga, but are tired of cliches that have been done before. Relife This is an amazing manga. It starts out quite a bit different from your typical high school setting since the MC is ten years older than everyone else at high school. I found it rather enjoyable, and a bit nostalgic as well, as it does a much better job at creating a high school atmosphere than most other stories do. Not only that, but all of the characters are well developed and have their own realistic problems. Well, that’s it for recommendations for now. I’ll probably come around again in a bit and make another list that focuses on supernatural and romance next time. Thanks for reading!

Up to this point, it really is just a feel good romance with some darker settings for her backstory every now and then. No real plot twists.

Hm... I would probably go with both 1) Shinobu Oshino Easily my favorite loli character. Being that she is far older than everyone else, its quite funny to see her personality mix with her size. Also, definitely more developed than other loli characters out there as well. 2) Mayoi Hachikuji Notice a trend here? Anyway, while Mayoi might not be a perfect stand alone character, but her interactions with Araragi make her quite a memorable and funny character.

Taking out the garbage for me. I have hated it, and will always hate it. I actually don't really mind doing any of the others.

You know, I had this idea a while back, but no one seemed interested at the time. It would actually be kinda cool if there was some plugin for the site for it though. I know Anime Inspirations seems to have something like that and they are on Xenforo; @Optic, do you know of any plugin like that for Xenforo? Anyway, I would probably be interested in joining. Not so sure how I feel about voice chat though.
