What did you do today?

I had to take some pliers and bend back the door to our mailbox until it could open and close again without any issue. People need to quit messing with our mailbox.

They might be. My neighbor told me someone hit ours. It's possible someone may have done it accidentally, too. I just hated to have to use pliers to fix the mailbox just so it would close.

Yeah that's awful! I hope it's no one doing it on purpose who comes back!

Some people will break anything these days. We don't have mailboxes here in the UK, we have a slot in the door which the postman puts the letters though, and he rings the doorbell if the letters are too big!

Although I see that the house opposite me has but a mailbox outside their door, I'm not sure why as it's only small. It's just one more thing to remember to check each day- and the post can arrive anytime between 9am and 2pm.

I spent the day mostly working but at lunch I walked to Starbucks to get a coffee and get something to eat at a restaurant next to it for burgers. During this time I found a stray kitten and brought it home but we can't keep it because there is worry the ferret might hurt or kill it. We were going to take it to a cat rescue not far from here, the neighbor across the hall saw us with the kitten and asked us if we had gotten one. When she discovered we were taking it to the cat shelter she asked if she could keep it as she has another kitten that would enjoy the company. It ended up with a good home and a good ending and I was glad I didn't leave it there on the street.

I think it may have been accidental because it looks fine today. And I need to remember that while we call the mail "the mail," you over there call it "the post." It does make sense though because we call the post office "post office." I need to study different cultures.

I didn't do anything today. I've just been feeling horrible since I woke up this morning.

One of the things I like about watching anime is learning about a different culture. What's also interesting is the regionalisation of some parts of the subtitles where American terms are sometimes substituted for the Japanese terms, I guess being in England I notice these more often because the American term is not the English term for the Japanese word used.

I finished work and did cleaning around the house moving out furniture and cleaning behind the heavy pieces, vacuuming the rooms and taking out the garbage. I'm trying to make things a little easier around the house and do most of the chores or things that need done. 

Went to the grocery store and bought groceries for the next week and brought home dinner from our favorite restaurant.

Took my last exam today and I'm officially on Fall Break for the next 11 days  So I plan to stay up late, play games, eat lots of food that isn't healthy and sleep in every day lol 

After my last class today, came home, took a nap, and went grocery shopping with @Zeref. There was suchhhh a pretty sunset too, I took some pictures of it and put them below! :

Those are excellent sunset photos, I really like the way you've captured the rays coming out from the clouds. Clone out the street clutter and you've got a great background for a GFX project.

Thanks! I need to do that, all I did was adjust a little bit of coloring on the phone but it really didn't need much of anything because it was so bright and pretty.

I've been only playing games today being lazy in the house. I need to get ready and take a shower soon since we are leaving in a little over an hour to go to a haunted house mansion for part of a ghost tour. I might carve pumpkins tonight after it.

Earlier today I went walking by the river while chatting on the phone to an AF friend, enjoyed the weather, sat by the river watching the boats and just kind of wandered around downtown, stopped at McDonald's on the way home because I really wanted a McChicken ~

This evening I went to a ghost tour of a haunted house that's now a museum with @Zeref. It's supposed to be one of the most haunted houses in the area and it's called the Conrad-Caldwell House Museum. Over 38 people have died in the house  Tonight was the special haunted Halloween tour and you can tour the house while the ghosts (dressed up actors) tell you about their lives, how they died, and what it was like during the time they lived there. It's all done by candlelight too and that kinda adds to the spooky factor. I had a great time and took a few pictures that I put below:

It was my birthday today. I went out to eat ice cream, ate a little too much (I thought it was a good idea to indulge myself with a large size), and then went back home for a nap before getting myself some good food for dinner.

It was a restful day.

Today I'm traveling and it's taken up most of my day ensuring I have everything I need to leave. I have a 12 hour flight from Heathrow airport to visit @Sakura and @Zeref. I'm waiting on my plane currently, meant to board in about 30 more minutes so I'm just killing time. I'll probably watch a movie or 2 once I get on the plane and then with any luck, sleep the rest of the flight.

Today I had work which I just finished with, working on a small project. At lunch I went for a walk since it is very nice out today. This evening we are going to a place that decorates the entire street with large Halloween displays and sometime late tonight we have to pick Orion up at the airport.

WE WILL NOT Lol

Today we went to a place that kind of has a little block party Halloween thing going on where every single house in about 4-5 blocks decorates with tons of decorations. There's places to take selfies and people dress up in costume, there are things that jump out of the trees at you (nothing very frightening though) and it's just a lot of fun. I put a few pictures of some of the decorations ^^ ~ There is also some more pictures of it over on the Halloween thread.

I arrived in Kentucky last night to visit @Sakura and @Zeref. We've been out walking through the shopping distract and having lunch today after I caught up on my sleep from the flight. Right now we are just chilling out then going to see this witch tree I've been told about and to listen to some music in the park.

I babysat @Sasuke and @Sakura today and made sure they didn't get into too much trouble or burn anything down. We did every thing Sasuke mentioned in his post and I let those 2 go for a romantic walk in the park together while I stayed at home and watched some tv
