What did you do today?

I had work which I just finished from. At lunch I was going to work out but it was too cold in the outside gym so instead I ran up and down the 30 flights of stairs to our building 2x and I felt that was workout enough. I walked to Starbucks and back then to get some coffees. It's not a very far walk only 2 blocks over. I think I'll just play some games the rest of the night. I still need to finish in Neverland getting my Fairy Tail characters.

I'm overwork I need check my test of they need correction and there's this fixing the schedule for our next week Thanksgiving holiday.

It really was I can only sit like that for about an hour at most right now or it starts to get uncomfortable.

For today I've just been resting, mostly laying down watching TV though I did have a physical therapy visit today. Those seem to just make me super tired. I did a little GFX today and played games too.

It was recycling collection day today, I'd put the boxes out last night so after the collection men had emptied the boxes I went out and retrieved them from wherever they had been left, I recovered my neighbour's ones as well and put then on their doorstep.  I put clean sheets on my bed and then did a bit of GFX stuff.

I feel like a bell boy because @Sakura has done nothing but order packages the past week and I'm being sent down to collect them. I've been downstairs 3 times just today

Doing a "required telework" today as I wait for notice as to my status on a "workforce action".  I should know by noon if I'm one of the ~325 (~5%) of the workforce at the lab who is "affected".  

I prefer the old days when there was less weasel-wording.  I mean, a layoff is a layoff... tell it to me straight.  The ones "let go" are not the only ones "affected" either.  I survived the last round.  Some of my co-workers did not.  I guarantee I was "affected" as well.

I don't like those weasel-words either. A few years back my employer sent me a letter to tell me that I was one of those selected for "early release", which in plain speech translated as, "you're being made redundant".  They also gave me a nice framed long service award thanking me for being a loyal and valuable employee for 22 years.....  Hmmmmmm.

Today my Boruto framed poster arrived + the hanging shelves and those have now been hung up but will have to hang on the wall 24 hours before I can decorate them with the merchandise :c After that though I'll have a new spot to decorate which I've reserved just for Boruto and Naruto things.

Your room must be totally full of merch and it probably makes my collection look very small.

I went out and did a bit of gardening this morning and cut back a bush that was getting far too big and tried out my new long lopper thingy on the rose arch, it worked really well so no more risk of falling off the stepladder .  I also had a go at the ivy on the front garden fence, but I think I'm fighting a loosing battle against that stuff .

So far I woke up at a decent time felt alright then felt not well.  I got ready and feeling slightly better now. I ate breakfast watching a animated show called Hilda on Netflix. Now on and off AF not sure what to post getting closer to 200 posts now though. I think I'll try gaming a bit then watching video game tutorials on YouTube about how to make games. ( more the art department ) Since im in works to  make a game with my best friend/bf. ❤

Hopefully I can survive the day with a smile at the end.

I haven't really done very much at this point in the day yet but I've went to a physical therapist visit with Sakura and then I went out walking with Zeref while he was on his lunch.

I had work and as @Sasuke mentioned at my lunch time we went out for a walk and to get some food. Brought something back for @Sakura since she can't yet go out walking. I did a little workout during my lunch time too. There hasn't been a lot of work load lately so I've been managed to get workouts in every other day.

Went to a PT visit, I only have 1 more left to go to this weekend and that will be my last one & in another week or so I'll find out if the surgery was a success or if I'll need radiation therapy or chemotherapy  Which that thought makes me anxious so I really do try to not think so much about it lol

Still employed.  Found out today that quite a few of my co-workers are not.  My group was hit relatively lightly in the first round of layoffs earlier this  year due to several upcoming critical events.  (Mainly Psyche and then HERA and Europa Clipper just last month.) The 530 people let go that time represented about 9% of the lab's workers overall but only about 3% of that total were from the group I'm in.  This time things went the other way.  Of the 325 additional people let go yesterday 93 of them - about 28% - were from my group, including several that I worked with on a daily basis.

I hope the surgery was a success and and you won't need the other treatments which would make anyone anxious. Just carry on as you are and try not to think about them, which isn't an easy thing to do.

I've woken up early and just enjoying my last day here as much as I can since I fly home tomorrow. I'm going to spend most of my day talking and hanging out with Zeref and Sakura until bed. I'll have to go to sleep relatively early as I have to be at the airport at 7 AM.

I don't mind  She keeps the Sasori mostly to her personal space. The hallway she is doing layered hanging shelfs for Boruto merchandise or Naruto merchandise which I am a fan of the anime so I have no problem with that. I leave most of the house decorating to her she has good ideas with designs of shelfs and how to hang things up in a way it looks modern and nice.

I guess he doesn't mind since he's never said anything about it lol and judging by the response above I don't guess he cares  I do keep all my Sasori's on my desk or room for the most part.

As for what I'm doing today just hanging out at the house since there isn't much else I can do. I played some OSRS and right now I'm watching some.. news story unfold on the streets below. It looks like there is about 20 police cars outside, an ambulance, a homicide unit, and they've got dogs down there too  I don't know what's happened but it's the middle of the big city right in the downtown area so who even knows, it's always something lol

We had to say goodbye to @Sasuke today who left to go back home. We took him to the airport then stopped to get breakfast at Mcdonald on the way home. I came back from that and went back to sleep for a little while and just been enjoying the Saturday playing games and watching TV.
