What did you do today?

Today is Thanksgiving in the U.S. I went to my moms house for a Thanksgiving brunch or lunch and now I'm at home for a couple of hours before I go to my dad's house for Thanksgiving dinner.

We had a Friendsgiving in our apartment community where on our sky club deck there was a lot of dishes for free and entry was only bringing a dish yourself. It was fun to sit up there and share food with neighbors and a good way to get to know other neighbors we didn't met yet as well as see neighbors we do already know. I really like the apartment community we live in because everyone is very friendly. The apartment managers had set up a lot of tables with fancy dishes and decorations to make the area festive. Having Thanksgiving looking out over the city from up 32 floors was a nice experience and atmosphere. This was also my first time celebrating that in the US.

This is pretty much the exact same thing I did since we went together lol ~ I also talked to @Forlorn on the phone for a bit & decorated some things while listening to Christmas music.

Went to do a little of this Black Friday shopping today with @Sakura we didn't really buy very much since our Christmas shopping was done already but did find some clothes for ourselves that was cheaper today. Did grocery shopping too and a few other things. It felt like it was a very busy day with a lot of running around and now I'm glad to get home and sit down.

I usually don't go out on Black Friday for shopping but it was kinda fun. Grocery shopping on Black Friday is the best time to go get groceries too because the food stores are soooo empty lol

Stayed inside mostly all day because it's been too cold to go anywhere. We watched a movie earlier and ordered lunch in. Glad we got all of our grocery shopping done yesterday because snow is going to cover things later.

It is really cold here, that wind is bad bad, so I didn't do much either. The few times I've been out on the balcony to see the snow it felt like lil knives cutting me it was so chilly @.@ I played OSRS and finally got my 98 woodcutting, finished watching the last episode of the TV show I've been watching with Orion called "From, and started working on some Christmas signatures. It was a good day to stay inside and work on projects by the window watching the snow fall ^^

Big fat rest whole week because I'm sick but I'm okay now.

I've been in bed most of the day watching anime and being considerably lazy. I plan to return to my bed and anime watching activities after getting back off the computer in a few minutes.

This afternoon was the annual Christmas event in the High Street. They closed the road all day and set up stalls and rides for the children and the event ended with the switching on of the High Street Christmas lights it was good fun and thankfully it stayed dry.

I stayed in bed much of the time today too. I'm only getting up now because I'm going to be getting ready soon to go to the Magnificent Mile lights with my friends from school. It's going to just be us walking around downtown Chicago freezing our butts off looking at the lights and wishing we had stayed indoors

Slept a lot as I usually do on Sundays. I cleaned out the fridge and freezer and scrubbed it down too, felt like it was about time to do it again. Played OSRS and Genshin today too.

I miss doing that  Walking down the MM was my fave thing to do around the holiday ~ with all the lights and it was so festive.

That's the street that was over the canal wasn't it? I always got this street confused some of the other ones

Cha it is, the main road we would drive onto across the waterway before turning into the street we lived on is called the MM.

It's Tuesday I did my usual weekly shopping, got most of my Christmas presents and created a Christmas sig.

Finished the Christmas event project for work I was assigned early, I was done by noon. I took a nap then worked out indoors. I don't think there will be anymore working out on the roof garden in these temperatures.

Mostly studied, what with finals for the semester coming up next week I figure I should at least try to study something lol ~ Also played some OSRS, there are some Christmas events already happening on there so I've been kinda hanging out having fun on the game. I think it's one of the only times I stop grinding skill levels and have just chilled out fun ._.

Same here I had to run some errands at lunch today which I wasn't very happy about because the temperature was around 19 F when I went out in it. 

I had work today too but there isn't much to be said about that, just a boring day filled with meetings I didn't want to be in, most of which could have been an email

Studied for these exams next week, I think I'm pretty much ready for them at this point though. 
I GFX'ed something for a friend and started looking for resources to make a desktop wallpaper for another friend.
I made some chili because it was so cold outside which was really good in this weather

I printed out my annual Christmas letter and got all my Christmas cards written and ready to post, all I need to do now is go to the post office and get some stamps.

I had the day off from work which meant I could sleep in and relax a little. Catch up on games and chores to do in the house that needed me to do it such as taking out garbage.
