What did you do today?

I did my exams; I lost 200hp due to poor marks (52% and a 12/34 so far), gained 50hp from unknown exam marks, gained 60hp from studying.

I woke up and I've been stuck down a rabbit hole of YouTube videos since then.

Mostly just worked, there wasn't really any time to do much of any thing else today.

I've mostly slept I think.. slept and napped and ate and watched anime o_o

I got a bit enthusiastic today and vacuumed the living room and hall carpets and put up my Christmas tree. I also went out to get some more of my favourite steak pies, but the shop didn't have any , not wanting to have walked all that way down the High Street for nothing I got another couple of boxes of ice cream sandwich Oreos, which were on a special offer .

I've been watching anime most of the time since I woke up. I have to get dressed soon we are going to an arcade to play games and then driving to some place in the next state over to visit a Christmas town.

Watching anime is much more important than getting dressed .

We've been at a gaming arcade as Sarada mentioned that is set up with a ton of older style arcade games you can play, as well as more modern games. We're in the car now heading to get something to eat before driving across the bridge to see some lights. Should be fun.

Played games at an arcade, ate dinner out, walked around a park set up as a Christmas village and the town Square that was also decorated for Christmas, then we were able to go on a Christmas train ride too.

I had a visit from a friend for the annual exchange of Christmas prezzies, did some washing and replaced the nylon cord on the picture in the living room with steel wire because the nylon cord had stretched so much that the picture had dropped about 2 inches.

Yesterday was fun when we went and did all that Christmas stuff but today has been pretty awful considering all I've really done mostly is argue with my mom and it's put me in such a bad mood that I mostly just sat and angrily watched movies, played some games, and took a nap about it. And I'm still rather annoyed. She seems like she always wants to start arguments around the holidays over nothing.

@Sakura when I read that I wasn't sure if I should give a to cheer you up and help you get over your bad mood or a because you've had a bad argument with your mum, it's never a good thing when you have an argument with your mum, been there, done that, not a happy time. I hope the two of you will be able to make some sort of peace before it spoils your relationship with each other.

Tbf she was being unreasonable and even I didn't know what to say because her logic sounded a bit off considering she's supposed to be in town to visit with you and your sister. But I'm not going to say anything else and get myself in trouble

Slept in late, played air hockey and pool with @Sarada and @Sasuke, went to a late lunch out to eat at Red Lobster which is a seafood restaurant and then finished some chores that needed to be done.

Yeah it seems to be a frequent thing over the holidays for some reason. I'm not going to let it ruin my Christmas though ~

Well that's what I thought that's why I assumed we were all going to the thing together so I dunno why she blew up about it but whatever ~shrug~ lol

I went shopping the morning, I usually go on Tuesdays but there's no way I was going to go on Christmas Eve, that's a mistake you only make once!

The supermarket has a huge car park but there were loads of cars in it, thankfully I found a space fairly quickly. Inside the shop was very crowded but I managed to get everything I wanted and was fortunate in finding a checkout that didn't have too long a line.

The stores that are open here on Christmas Eve always have a longgggg line out the door and it takes forever, plus there is hardly anything on the shelf anyways. I can't even go out in that without having severe anxiety because of all the people + everyone pushing around and being all clustered up really gets to my claustrophobia x.x

I ended up patching things up with my mom today, mostly. I'm still a bit mad but whatever, it's not even worth it. I finished wrapping the last little bit of presents I had too that I had bought last minute and those are under the tree. I'd say everything is ready for Christmas now.

I try to go nowhere the week of Christmas that entire week in the stores is a mad house and same with that after Christmas sales.

The shop was crowded, but thankfully not uncomfortably and everyone was being patient and polite so there was no pushing and shoving, which was nice and made for a more pleasant experience.

I'm really glad to hear that you've patched things up with your mum. It wouldn't have been good to celebrate Christmas while still upset with each other.  I've given out all my presents now and am ready for Christmas as well.
