What did you do today?

Well it’s only like 10:30am at the moment, so not a whole lot haha. I did unload/reload the dishwasher and give the kitchen a wipe, also started a load of laundry, and vacuumed the floors. Now I’m listening to some tunes on the new headphones.

We went to the grocery store this morning to get our weekly groceries. There was a strange man following @Sakura around  I took a nap shortly after we got home and the thunder and lightning woke me up. This evening we met @Sarada and her friend from Canada at a restaurant to eat and chat. They are on their way back to Chicago and Canada from Atlanta after going to a concert together. It was nice to see her again and be able to have a fun dinner all together.

I watched mum’s dog this afternoon for her and I was working on a project on my iPad to make myself a signature for here but I’ve run into a snag and might have to rethink/redo the whole thing

It sometimes happens like that when you're working on a sig. My current one is very different to how I originally thought of it, I had to redo and rethink the whole idea a couple of times before I got it to look right.

So far I haven't done anything today except come on here and Discord, but then it's only 4:30am and the sun is just starting to get up. 

I'm only here this early because it's too hot to sleep.

I got to see my sister @Sarada today~! It was just briefly, we met at a restuarant while her and her friend were passing through town but it was fun ;D It was kinda a mood booster because I definitely miss her a lot. We went to a restuarant called Cracker Barrel which is pretty well known for having a HUGE gift shop that sells basically everything you could ever imagine lol ~ so I ended up buying this lil bat guy. Me and my sister got matching ones which is kinda our thing when we go places, we always like to get matching souvenirs. He had this adorbable face though I couldn't just leave there

There was also some cute dragon stuffed animals that I took pics of to send to @Animedragon over on Discord lol

It was good that you were able to meet up with your sister even if it was only for a short time. Yeah, that bat guy has a face that just shouts "take me home with you", I had the same thing the other week.

 I actually had some settings wrong in Procreate when I created them and now I can’t resize the images without losing all of their quality. I might have an idea for a work around, we’ll see how it goes

I'm spending more a relaxing day today. Yesterday was a frenzy, we had a kids birthday party and I'll most likely be worn out from that for several days. Chasing 20 something kids around your house is too much

Slept in for a long time I didn't really want to leave my bed today. I kept rolling over the other way and going back to sleep. Some day can be nice to relax and sleep like this. When I finally got up I helped @Sakura with some rugs on the balcony she wanted to secure with outdoor sticky tape to keep them from blowing up in the wind. Now just doing nothing probably eat dinner in a minute and watch tv.

I had work at 5 am this morning. The weekend seemed short lol

Halfway through the work day! So far this morning I printed some duplicate forms and glued them together, also printed and cut some tags for one of the business just down the street from us, and then I spent the rest of the morning working on trimming down a bunch of booklets/brochures for an adventure school. Still need to finish cutting them, but that will be sometime after lunch. 
 

Tomorrow is Canada Day, so we’ll be closed. It seems like a lot of other businesses have decided to close for both today and tomorrow though, it’s been an extremely quiet Monday so far haha. I like it

Today my friendly handyman came round to repair the hole in my bathroom sinks waste pipe. So now the water will go down the drain not down onto the back doorstep .

Other than that' I've done nothing because it's been too hot and muggy.

I had a half day today with work and took off the rest of the evening. It wasn't for anything fun I just had a dentist checkup appointment and teeth cleaning.

I watched The Goonies movies with @Jellal on Discord idk why we are watching 80s movies this week together but we are and I love it. Tomorrow is Stand By Me and over the weekend we are gonna watch The Mist which is a Stephen King movie that I surprisingly haven't seen. I talked to my sister for awhile on the phone who ended up taking a trip detour with her friend and they are in New York lmao I mean may as well, it's Summer, have fun

You have my sympathies. One of the thing I really don't like is going to the dentist. When I was younger I had some nasty experiences with dentists, my current dentist is a nice guy and a good dentist, I even changed from being an NHS patient to a private patient just so I could keep him as my dentist.

I'm sure you had a great time with the seals. I think US waffles are a bit different to what we call waffles as I can't imagine anyone eating them on their own.

This morning I went out to get the week's groceries. It was later than I would have liked because I overslept and it had got hotter by the time I was ready to go out, no complaints as I had a good nights sleep. I'm not planning on doing anything other than watching some anime and YT stuff and messing about on my PC. It's WAYYYYYYY to hot to go out side or do any energetic.
