Good luck I hate moving. Packing is one of the worst things to do but the actual moving it in the truck is even worst lol.

And here is the “after” shot.  I finished construction, got everything in the cabinet, cables all rerouted, and the doors shut.  Amazingly my LAN and internet still work!

The panel on the left is the display for a weather station I have on the roof outside so that’s where it should be.  The black square to the right is the exhaust fan.  The black box that’s kind of dangling there at the bottom is Spectrum’s cable box / router.  I may also move it inside at some point but it has some status lights on it so I elected to put it there for now for visibility.

Inside temps seem fine with the two cabinet fans at half speed.   If anything the equipment seems happier in its new home.  Both the LAN switch and the wifi have small fans that rev up and emit a high pitched whine when things get warm but they’ve been quiet since I got everything tucked away.

 

 

The remaining dangling wires will soon be corralled and contained in some raceways attached to the wall.  I have the materials already.  I just ran out of time this weekend.  I’m considering repainting that wall too though so I might put that project off for a bit.

This next is a closer shot of the fan assembly.  Inside the cabinet are regular PC case fans.  These outside bits are there to make the outside look a bit nicer and to hold a reusable dust filter.  Too soon to tell if the filter bit will work as intended of course but it should simplify cleaning and it does help the aesthetics.  There is an identical one on the other side of the cabinet over the intake fan.

I took a walk in the park with a friend and my dog and rearranged some furniture in my apartment.

I didn't do much after my volunteer work, just played some games and watched TV. I'm trying to figure some things out that have been really bothering and confusing me that I don't know what to do about and I kinda spent the evening thinking about those things but all I got was more confused.

Me and my boyfriend's off day. We went downtown to a Filipino restaurant (which satiated my fix for the month, lol), then shopping at an Asian supermarket not too far away from it. 

Stopped by my sister's new business--she opened up a new studio for messages, facials, and other aesthetician services. 

Knocked out when we came home, and had a decent nap.. Played some ACIII a little while ago.

All of my sister's belongings have officially been packed up and we've tidied up her house with a deep cleaning today. The moving truck is loaded and ready for tomorrow so that's been the majority of what I've been helping with doing today.

This morning I decided I was fed up with being indoors and went out to film some trains. It was quite hot out, about 24C but there was a light breeze that was very nice and kept things from getting too hot. After lunch the temp had soared to 30C so I was glad I went out in the morning.

Temps have made it almost impossible to go out anywhere it seem like. Here I feel trapped indoors too because of the heat and we are advised to stay in if we can.

Ya legit don't blame you ~ I get these urges to be outside when I'm indoors for awhile, but then I usually go outside and I'm like... ew....... people........... ~goes back in~ XD

Uhmmmmm let's see I did my lil seal work today, accidentally hit @Zeref in the face, I cooked dinner tonight  I was feeling super ambitious so I took out the trash, did the laundry for both me and Pessi, then I made lemon & herb roasted cod & red roasted potatoes with onions
After that I played RS with @Soramee_ I think for like.. 4 or 5ish hours / chatted in VC and just did nothing but a mini game ~ Gonna go sleepy sleep in a minute now.
