I have to disagree. including Nazis make everything worse. 

 

berserk was never even finished.

I personally think Light Yagami is a moron and Evangelion was terrible.

I definitely disagree that Brotherhood was mid but I respect the take on JJK. It's an overhyped, unoriginal anime that is touted as mature and deep because of its darker themes. Darker themes not always equal deep. Never have.

Evangelion was a dumpster fire of a mess. Some anime really do require reading between the lines, but when the entire story is supposedly between the lines or lurking somewhere in the background, I can't help but chalk that up as terrible story telling. I thought Evangelion was a good story idea ruined by having too many conspiracies within conspiracies. It could possibly have been salvaged if they'd made a decent final two episodes, but to my mind those last two episodes totally wrecked the series, and the seemingly endless movie remakes didn't help.

So basically, it could have been good had it been different in almost every single way. With exception to the intro, of course. It's forever gold.

It's a good series and I liked it enough to replace my VHS copy with the DVDs when they came out, but it suffered from an over complex plot and a totally bodged ending. I'm guessing that they either realised that they couldn't tie up all the loose ends in just two episodes or they just ran out of money.

Based on what I've always read regarding the ending, the author ended it exactly the way he wanted to, but he did want to wrap things up before its popularity began to fade. This would likely be the reason it had such an abrupt feeling to it. The overarching problem for me was simply the fact that the story was abstract as Picasso. Intentionally left largely open to interpretation is in my opinion a lazy approach from the word go. As you already mentioned, conspiracies within conspiracies, with the backstory supposedly revealing itself in the background along the way just created too much work for me to consider it good story telling.

Those type of anime not a fan I prefer like Deltora Quest Record of Lodoss type

And Not big fan of Evangelion and Death Note.

Dr. Stone was mediocre at best in the beginning and by the time I suffered through to the end of season 2 I was dying inside.

Natsu and Juvia would have been better. Two airheads and conflicting abilities would have been funny. Gray and Lucy would also have been better seeing as how they both are hardly ever dressed. I'm fine with Gajeel and Levy.

Charadters with a cringey/annoying catchphrase aren’t annoying. Naruto, Natsu Dragneel, etc.
