For that event we had about 30 mission-critical people in the same room and management didn't want to take any chances.  The concern was not just for the event itself but that if even a few of those people were to get sick and be out for weeks then that could itself be a major risk if something were to happen that required the skills of someone too sick to fix the problem.

 

I guess you are assigned in the engineering department or scientist or work under ground besides lava and magma or in a corporation with big building forging some airplane parts dont know because my prev works arent related to any of launching spacecraft to pluto however I like the work you in seems so cool aside from having my own business in the future

I'm basically an engineer in a network operations center and data processing facility.  My particular job is testing and maintaining systems that receive data from remote science instruments, process the data, store the processed data in databases, and provide access to the databases to scientist and engineers around the world.  When everyone else was being told to stay home and work remotely I was one of the ones that had to keep going to work to make sure the network and data systems they were all using continued to work.

No lava btw.
