Seagulls of many species have professions, which have names like piracy, fishing, scavenger etc. Virtually all seagulls have a main profession and can do a little bit of the others.
The seagulls that steal your food while still flying are pirates and are specialized at taking food from other birds, such as fisherman-seagulls in the air. Notably some seagulls have a part time "farming" job where they pat their feet on the ground to attract worms from below the sand or grass.
Inland Scavengers may not even spend much time near the sea, but coastal scavengers may never go near human civilization. It's only a small minority of seagulls that are fully specialised in any one profession, and no bird will do them all well.

Now I learn even the frikken seagulls are plotting 😱 Who knows what they are up to?! Do we need to worry about world take over by seagulls?!

I would never have thought that seagulls have professions. I'm not so sure about seagulls not going near human civilization though, I regularly go on holiday to Burnham on Sea and there's often lots of seagulls around, and they're huge birds.

I'm getting concerned about this, first we have to worry about meese dropping from the sky, although we later found out it was just their poop that dropped from the sky not the meese themselves, now we have to worry about seagulls possibly taking over the world. Although at the moment they're just content with taking over any food item that people make the mistake of trying to eat outside.

I have also noticed that seagulls do regularly launch bombing raids with their primary target being cars. While not causing as much structural damage as falling meese poop seagull poop can damage the paintwork if not removed quickly. 😡

I think it meant there are 2 different types of seagull species one that spend more time near sea not interacting much with humans and a type of seagull species that does live near human population which is the one that plagues us all lol 😆 In Chicago we had these outside of the hot dog stands, they would dive bomb the people eating stealing fries and trying to take hot dogs regularly.

The list just keeps getting longer, at this rate not even sure I should go outside, but not even sure I'm safe inside 😱 They are probably using that food they steal to feed and build up their seagull armies.

YESSS LOLLL I remember that one that just launched itself into my hot dog and relish went flying everywhere LMAO Luckily the hot dog place replaced it but geeeeez, yeah, the seagulls in Chicago by the lakefront can be really annoying and they seem to follow the food trolleys around.

They have also adapted to survive anywhere:
Seagulls can drink both fresh and salt water. Most animals are unable to do this, but gulls have a special pair of glands right above their eyes which are specifically designed to flush the salt from their systems through openings in the bill.

I wonder why this is a law too? Did someone scare the King with a suit of armor once?

Edward II wasn't a popular King and had a lot of trouble with the powerful Barons and other Nobles and the law was passed in response to said Barons and other Nobles who were trying to bring pressure on Parliament by force of arms.

I guess that's a lot less interesting than what I pictured which was mostly people hiding in suits of armor to assassinate him or something, so he became suspicious of all suits of armor and would go round checking them all for little people trying to kill him until everyone thought he was crazy lmao

Did you know:
An Ostrich's eyeball is larger than its brain and it can see up to 2.2 miles away (3.5KM). The ostriches eyes are so large they take up most of its skull leaving little room for a brain.

@Sakura Yes I've been making graphics since the 2000s and forward if I remember right. Sadly I don't have new work due to Photoshop being pretty expensive. However I'm going try and get it once more since I really miss doing it and want to use that to make my own layout for a  personal blog website I want to make. I do have older  graphic work but its so embarrassing I'll think about posting. ^,.,^;

I'll let you know though if  I'll post some of my older work on here for you to see.

@Animedragon Yes ill let you too and you also have quite a talent for it as well. Please keep up the great work as well.

You might like to look at Photoshop Elements, which is what I use, it's a lot less expensive than the full version although you might miss some of the more advanced features.  I notice that Adobe now sell Elements with a 3 year licence rather than a one-off payment. ☹️

We'll look forward to seeing Silverleaf's Gallery in the A-F Art Exhibit forum. 🙂
