At the moment, I'm just doing forestry until bedtime probably. 

Stay on forestry worlds and it should not be too hard.

I did start to play FFVII, but I was indecisive and wanted a more uplifting game, so I've gone back to playing FFVIII. ^^ I just taught Quezacotl the Magic +20% (Mag+20%) ability which raises the current Magic value of the character it's Junctioned to buy 20%, Hit Points Junction (HP-J) which allows me to set a Magic to the HP stat that Quezacotl is Junctioned to in order to increase the character's max HP without affecting the base value, Vitality Junction (Vit-J) which has the same effect as HP-J but for Vitality, Thunder Magic Refine(T-Mag Ref), Mid Mag Ref which refines the lowest level Magic to mid-level Magic given there's enough of the lowest level Magic to convert to 1 or more mid-level Magic which gets added to that character's Magic stock, and the ever-useful Card Mod ability which refines items from Triple Triad(in-game card game) cards won from the NPCs that are able to be played against, and now I'm having it learn Magic +40%(Mag+40%) which has basically just accumulated AP (Ability Points) towards. I've had Shiva learn Vit+20%, Vit+40%, Spirit +20%(Spr+20%), and currently she's learning Spr+40%, and Ice Magic Refine (I-Mag Ref) and converted some Fastitocalon-F cards from turning them into cards via the Card ability from Quezacotl to Water Crystals and given Squall and Quistis 100 Waters each.

EDIT: Apparently I have to be in a good mood to want to play FFVIII, so I'll switch between FFVIII and Front Mission 1st. I'm pretty sure I still have to increase proficiency levels for most of my characters in FM 1st Remake.

Final Fantasy VIII Remastered (Switch):

I still haven't gone to the Fire Cave to get Ifrit yet because I want to upgrade my weapons as much as I can for Quistis and Squall. I've been using Card on Bite Bugs and so far I've received Elvoret 4 or 5 times which means 40 or 50 Death Stones because 1 Elvoret card refines into 10 Death Stones using Quezacotl's Card Mod ability. I forgot how many Death magics I can get from those using Siren's Life Mag-Ref (Refines healing, revival, and death Magics and I might even be forgetting a kind of Magic there is to get from using it)... but I think 100 Death Magics can be refined from 1 Death Stone, but I can't remember clearly enough to say for sure. Quezacotl has finally learned Mag+40% and Shiva learned Str-J although I'm not Junctioning any Magic to Quistis' Strength stat because it would mess up the pattern I've developed for getting the native monsters' HP down enough to be able to use Card on successfully, but it's an excellent ability for Shiva to learn. Now though both Quezacotl and Shiva are learning Elem Def-J(Elemental Defense Junction which means I'll be able to set Elemental resistances for both characters. It'll come in handy for the Fire Cave. I've used the items Water Crystal and Spider Web to have Quistis learn 2 Blue Magic abilities as that's her Limit Break. So far I've gotten 2 Jumbo Cactuar cards as rare results when using Card on Glacial Eye. I might not even need 100 cards of the native monsters to get the number of the rare cards that I'm trying to get, which is 5 for Jumbo Cactuar from Glacial Eye and Trauma from Caterchipillar. I can't get any rare results from the Fastitocalon-F on the beach area though, unfortunately. That would've been sweet. ^^ I'll refine 100 Jumbo Cactuar cards into 100 Cactus Thorns because I want to for some reason. I also want 100 Death Stones, but at least I won't need as many Elvoret cards to reach that goal. I forget what Trauma cards refine into though... I'll be reminded soon enough when I refine one. That's pretty much it for an update on FFVIII. ^^

Getting a woodcutting level, working on the elusive fox whistle still. I did finish my forestry outfit today though on OSRS which means I get a nice bonus in XP when wearing it and woodcutting. Now I will also be saving my Anima Bark for the Log pouch which will allow me to hold 2x as many logs in my inventory as well when cutting trees.

I used Card on 100 Bite Bugs (maybe more since I refined a number of them in the beginning into M-Stone Piece x 100) and expected it to be easier to get Elvoret cards as the rare result of using Card on the Bite Bugs, but the success rate for it is hardly guaranteed because there's only an actual attempt to turn the monsters into those rare cards once in a while otherwise it says "Can't turn into a card." The catch though is that the majority of the occasional attempts that goes through doesn't even succeed when that message doesn't appear. So, it takes even longer to get the rare cards that way from using Card on monsters. I'd rather just refine 100 of a normal result of using Card, sell those 100 items, then do it over and over until the rare ones pop up. At least then I'd be making some Gil. I don't have the patience to keep trying while getting frustrated when it fails repeatedly to transform the monster into the rare card result. >.>; Well, not all of my theories end up being accurate after all anyway. Even though it was more like a hypothesis, not a theory... one that, unfortunately, didn't pan out. So, I'll just keep up the cycle and sell the refined items if they get to the quantity limit of 100 and keep repeating it until I get the frickin rare card results which will eventually inevitably happen. I think I have selective patience...

I got a golden pheasant egg which transforms my pet beaver to a pheasant. It's not the fox whistle I wanted but it still creates the rare pet. Still trying for the fox whistle though, I'll eventually get it.

I started a single-player hardcore minecraft game today.  It used to be something of a tradition on each new release that I'd do this but I haven't for a while now.  Usually I don't last too long but since my usual game/server is no longer available this time I'm going to make an effort to avoid being stupid and see how long I can make it last. 

Unfortunately the Distant Horizons mod hasn't yet been updated for the latest mc (1.20.6) so the hazy horizon beyond the built-in render distance is giving me a bit of that floating-island feeling but Iris/Sodium, textures, and shaders seem to be working otherwise.  (Last I checked on the DH discord they're planning on an official release of the next version in a couple weeks.)

I've been getting back into Stardew Valley lately. That game makes me want to start up a homestead so badly... yet I'd probably let everything die if I did. I can barely keep a few plants in the garden alive.

I also got Baldur's Gate 3. Played about an hour of it. It seems like a fun game, but there's a freak-ton of information to process that, frankly, I'm not up to snuff on. I'll revisit it soon, but I feel the need to take a crash course on what all this jargon is during battles especially. I didn't play DnD when I was a kid (I know, I lived a rather deprived childhood in a lot of ways), so I'm not well-versed in the mechanics of BG3 yet.

I've decided to finish both the O.C.U. and U.C.S. stories of Front Mission 1st Remake. I've just dropped in with Natalie (Royd's second in command) and Ryuji to help Keith and J.J. from a close call where the two were outnumbered. I love this game. I've got everyone equipped with Vapor legs, Pabotte arms (left and right), and Pabotte body because the Pabotte parts have considerable dodge stats. The Vapor legs are more for a damage sponge though so the legs won't get destroyed so quick. I've equipped a Siege machine gun and  Zieger rifle to every character to boost the Short range weapons proficiency faster. Royd's Short range weapons proficiency is at 11 which is a good number for the upcoming mission. Ryuji's next for the stat grind to get to 11. The odds for an arena battle with Werewolf is at 1.56 which is some good odds with a comfortable chance to win. In New Milgan there's an option to bet 500 Huffman Dollars, so I'm getting a lot of money in addition to stat training. ^^

I've been going back and forth between Helldivers 2 and XDefiant. One of the daily challenges today was to win 2 games, which of course, took 3 hours.

I don't know if anyone else on here plays XDefiant, but it's been a very fun game especially considering it's free with in game purchases. One gripe I have with it though, is that with the exception of one game mode, players are not awarded enough points for playing the objective. Killstreaks are great, but I like it when games put emphasis on a team objective.

Front Mission 1st Remake

I've managed to get Royd and Ryuji's Short weapons proficiency to 12. I'm now working on Natalie, Royd's second-in-command in the mercenary group Canyon Crows which is being utilized by the O.C.U. to help win the conflict against the U.C.S. Oh, and Short weapons are basically just firearms like rifles and machine guns.

Today I did a few things on OSRS. I decided to try doing a boss monster I've never done before which is called Scurries and it's just a big giant rat. I ended up getting a rare drop after just 6 kills so that's kinda cool.

DH 2.1 & Iris 1.7 are officially out for MC1.20.6.  This is with released versions of both, plus the Bliss shader..

I'm going to have to re-tweak my settings though.  The released versions are much better performers.  With my current settings tweaked for the dev versions I'm allocating too much memory to Java for instance.

This is a good boss to learn on it teaches you a lot of boss mechanics. 
Today I just downloaded an old game I haven't played in awhile called Fate. I didn't know it was on Steam. I haven't played it since I was really young and I'm looking forward to running around on it. I remembered this being one of the best games to play in the 2005-2008 era of the internet

Yeah I'm getting back in the swing of things again practicing on these.

Today I got 98 Herblore + 91 FM and tomorrow I figure I could either get 99 Herblore and max it out or do another FM level not sure which yet. I kinda wanted to get 99 Smithing/Herblore/Woodcutting/Firemaking at the same time just because that would look super neat getting 4 99's at the same time but I'm not sure I can hold off getting 99 Herblore since I'm now so close lol
