It depends on how much it is since I have to run it by mom before I actually click check out if the shipping looks like it will be a lot.

Have you ever been in a situation for years that you wish you could escape from, but couldn't no matter what you did?

No, thankfully I have not, I am very glad for that.

Speaking of shipping, do you often order things with rush delivery shipping and it does not arrive by the time you paid it for?

I'm thinking this has to do with the extension cord that didn't arrive after rush delivering it last night LOL

Nah I don't usually do this I figure it will get here when it gets here, most things arrive pretty fast anyways.

What is your favorite flavour of potato chips?

I'm assuming that by "potato chips" you're referring to what we here in the UK call "potato crisps" 🙂.

I like the ordinary plain ready salted variety. I've never really understood the attraction of potato crisps that taste like something else.

Staying with food... What's your favourite type of cake?

German chocolate cake.

Have you ever used a metal detector or found anything good with one?

I've never used one myself, but I've had metal detectors used on me going through the airport security checkpoint. They found a few coins I left in my pockets and a belt buckle I forgot I still had on after walking through their little "revolving door". xD

What do you do for fun during your downtime?

Yes they are called crisps in the UK lol ~ BTW can you ship me some of those Walkers Cheese & Onion ones? 😭 XD I miss those so much because we don't have them in the states and I used to have a bag of those in my hand allll the time. That + an Irn Bru. God I miss Irn Bru too... and Vanilla Coke tastes much different in the UK vs the states and I miss the taste of the one in the UK.

oKAY well I went off topic a bit so @ above ~ SLEEP. SLEEP. SLEEP. xD But no really uhmmm, I usually just chill and watch TV or play some games when I have the free time. I also like to decorate crafts like PC card holders ^^

Do you still live around the area you were born and if not do you miss where you grew up?

Before I retired I occasionally helped out in the company's mail room and one of the things we had to do was check the contents of any parcels going overseas for prohibited contents, and food items was one of the prohibited items for parcels to the USA. So, sorry, I won't be able to send you any of those crisps. ☹️

I've lived in my house for 65 years, my family moved here when I was 6. When I was younger I did miss our old area. There was a large area of grass outside the front door where my friends and I played and out the back was a small park where we had a lot fun.  But back then the world was different, I can't see many parents today letting their 5 year old child freely roam the surrounding area and go to the park on their own.  We did, of course, have boundaries beyond which we were not allowed to go, but the area they covered was still quite large.

Edit:

Got carried away and forgot to ask a question!

I remember being able to go play outside and roam streets at a very young age but needed to be within yelling distance of the home since cellphones were not around yet much.

My favorite place to visit in terms of other countries is maybe Italy or France. I like all the older places to visit here in these places and the history. In terms of places I like to visit museums or zoos a lot.

What is a bad habit that you have?

Suppose I don't drink as much water as I should. Tend to go for sugary drinks or energy drinks instead of water like I should do. Always been a bit disorganized too, throw things everywhere instead of putting it up where I should.

Are you a messy person or an organized person?

Wait wait I'm confused because my gran has sent me stuff from there before that was food related 😵‍💫 And I also order Walkers crisps and Irn Bru every so often off the internet too that is imported from there because I miss it so much lol Is it just certain foods or something or have things changed?

@Above ~ Mostly organized because I get a lil weird about things not being where they go.

When you go grocery shopping do you look to buy specific brands that you like or do you just go with whatever is on sale/cheapest at the time?

Maybe the mail room guys were just being extremely strict or things could have changed, which is possible as I've been retired for almost 7 years now.

@above - I always go for specific brands of stuff I like.

When you reach the check-out do you pay cash or card?

Card, usually. I do not carry much cash often.

Do you prefer a window seat or an aisle seat on a plane or train?

Ah I see, makes sense, or my gran just sent illegal contraband IDK xD But I do also order it from Amazon sometimes but that would ship differently I think.

@ Above ~ Window definitely. I like to look out at all the sites.

Favorite card game?

I would wish to remove the restrictions for 1 more following wish so I could wish for lots of money 😆
If that couldn't be I would wish for a huge expensive mansion so I could sell it for millions of dollars.

Sometimes sleep if there is really nothing to do, might watch tv, play games, work on a craft project, annoy you, redecorate something.

What is a memorable pet you had as a child?

I had a dog named Nokinenä who was my first dog as a child. I had her for over 13 years before she passed away and was my best animal friend growing up. (You probably remember her).

What is the last weird dream you have had?

I actually dreamed about the tornadoes in Chicago the day before it happened which was pretty trippy. I should rephrase like I didn't dream about them specifically in Chicago but I was at my dad's house in Chicago and there were tornadoes coming straight for his house. I don't think I had any type of vision of the future though I just dreamed about his house because it's familiar xD But it still gave me the creeps anyway since the next day that basically happened.

To stay with that, do you ever get de je vu?

Sometimes but I can never understand why since I have usually never been in the places where it happens.

Are you a cat or dog person?

I'm definitely a dog person. Almost as for as I can remember we always had a dog in our house, and he. or she, was part of the family and came on holiday with us, putting the dog in kennels and going away never seemed right because part of our family was missing.  We all cried buckets when each of our dogs died.

How punctual are you. Are you always on time for meetings, or are you the one who is always early or late?

My mom got it into my head at an early age that you need to be ridiculously early for EVERYTHING. She's the type of person to always be 30 minutes early to literally everything, so I ended up being the same way. I'm not this extreme though, I usually turn up 10-15 minutes early to anything I'm going to. I panic when I think I'm not going to get to a place at least 10 minutes early and start spiraling into thinking I'm going to be late and it'll ruin my whole life or something 😂

Do you like scents like cologne/perfume or are you someone that can't stand even the slightest hint of that stuff?

I like very light scents but not heavy scented. I don't like people who wear a lot of this and walk by you and almost choke you or they come into an area and the whole area then fills with the scent because they have so much on.

What time of day do you usually wake up?
