Welcome to the forums, hope you enjoy it here I’d recommend checking out Kimetsu no Yaiba (Demon Slayer). There’s also a fairly obscure shonen called Buso Renkin where the 2 MCs seemed to have a relationship similar to Ichigo & Rukia. Sone other series you might enjoy based on the favourites you listed: Danganronpa, The Ones Within, Gleipnir & The Promised Neverland.

Claymore is not for the faint of heart at all! The fight scenes are brutal & these female assassins are a force like no other! Such a great anime!

Thank you! I'm actually planning on following through with that idea. I've done a lot of the worldbuilding already and might write a short story/prologue to introduce the main character at some point before I start writing a full book. I'm sure I'll be caught up soon, I'm getting through episodes pretty fast (for me, at least).
