The decisions of school admins rarely make any sense or have any logic behind them. But back when I was at school there was no internet so we had no choice, whatever the weather we had to go in to school. There was also no easy way of contacting all the pupils as there were no mobile phones and some people didn't even have a land-line phone.

That looks amazing. All the renders and PNGs blend together really well, I like the colours too. I don't know why we are so concerned about size, it's not as if we're actually going to use some of the GFX we create as a sig.

It was too cold to go out so I spent some time working on my model railway.

I like the expression on her face.

It started cloudy and -2C this morning rose to 3C midday and it's expected to be -1C tonight.

Sorry to burst any bubbles about my artistic skills, but the dragon is a photograph, reprocessed so it doesn't look like a photo but it is a photo.

Thanks for your helpful comments, I see what you mean about the highlights and those trees in the foreground do look a bit too bright now I come to look at it again. I think I'll re-visit the idea behind that piece a bit later on.

Now that is a simply superb piece of art and I can see why it took you so long to create. Both versions are wonderful, but I prefer the second one the slightly darker background looks better and the flowers top right and bottom left give it a better balance.

Hmmm, that's £14.74 in UK money. I can get a decent sized roast dinner and desert for that in my local pub/restaurant.

I thought my sig was a bit plain and dull, so I smartened it up a bit and made a matching avatar.

I did very little today, the cold weather saps all my energy and all I want to do is curl up somewhere warm.
