  1. Something that's not likely to happen.
  2. I've been rewatching Seraphim Call. An interesting series from 1999 comprising 11 stand alone stories set in the same futuristic city in 2010 (!) featuring the lives of 11 different girls. The episodes are a bit of a mixed bag some with very clever and inventive storytelling others a bit plain but all are interesting to watch.
  3. It looks like we're both going to be OK. While some roads near me have had floods at times in the 60+ years I've lived in my house I've never known any flooding here apart from a few large puddles where the drains can't cope with the amount of water. At the moment it's cold and damp outside and expected to be much colder over the next few days.
  4. WOW! They are really fantastic photos. There's a strange thing about Christmas decorations. You carefully pack them away on 12th night, but when you come to get them out again on Advent 1 half of them have disappeared, but no one seems to know why this happens. Some say that garden centres* are using a sort of dimensional vortex to suck them up so that you'll have to buy new ones each year. * I don't know how it is in other countries but in the UK garden centres always have a huge display of Christmas decorations each year.
  5. @Zeref never fails to amaze us with his little snippets of information that come straight out of left field.
  6. Same here, we've had the yellow warnings of rain but so far there's no been much apart from the usual flooding of the Thames around Richmond.
  7. I went out this morning to get a bit more shopping. Someone mentioned blueberry muffins recently which reminded me that I like those so I put some on my list. So I now have a box of 4 to enjoy with my lunchtime cup of tea . (not all at once I hasten to add) As the weather was quite pleasant this afternoon I went out and did a bit of gardening.
  8. I think smores sound interesting, thanks for the instructions on how to make them. Next time I'm out shopping I'm going to try and get the required items to make some.
  9. It's dry, bright and sunny and actually quite nice out in the sun.
  10. They do look interesting, although I don't think I could eat them for breakfast. I'm not a fan cream cheese, so I'm not sure I'd like these but I probably would if they didn't have the cream cheese. I'd never heard of Smores, so I looked them up and they look rather nice.
  11. That sounds like a rather strange combination
