The UK Ivory Act makes it illegal to trade in ivory and has been extended to include elephants, hippos, walruses, narwhals, sperm whales, and orcas.

I've a nasty feeling that that's what's going to happen to me. I've raised the matter with the printers and complained to the courier company, so I'll wait to see what the responses are.

I''m rather annoyed at the moment! I designed my own Christmas cards and sent the artwork to a commercial printers. This afternoon I received an email to say that they had been delivered, but they haven't --- well they might have been but not to me!

-4C sounds seriously cold. It's currently 11C here which is an improvement over the past few days, it looks a bit dull and overcast outside but then again it's 7:54am and the Sun only woke up about 10 mins ago. When you go out to play in the snow are you going to make a snowman, or perhaps a snow Borutu

That must have been really annoying! I've found that every so often Photoshop will do strange things. This evening I was working on a magazine header and I'd added some text and decided that I wanted to make it a big larger, but PS wouldn't let me access that text layer, in the end I replaced the old text layer with a new one and PS happily let me alter that one.

I don't think that the background looks messed up it looks fine to me.

It's bright, sunny and not as cold as it was yesterday, but it's still COLD and I still have the central heating on and have no desire to go out unless I have to.

It's not all that strange. I don't like coffee or cheese but I like coffee flavoured icing on cakes (I love coffee and walnut cake), cheese flavoured biscuits and cheesecake.

It is indeed a sad story, but a young girl being forced into marriage with a much older man was not unusual in the 18th and 19th centuries among the rich and powerful families where marriage was seen as a way of cementing allegiances rather than anything else.

Well done @Sarada and @Sakura that's an amazing good piece of work everything fits together so well. I especially like the way the shades of blue in the main image are contrasted by the monochrome circles. An altogether excellent colab.

I'm sure it will be amazing and I'm looking forward to seeing it.

My fear of water comes from having a similar experience to you, when I went on my first swimming lesson with the school the teacher didn't like me hesitating to to get in so he threw me into the pool, which absolutely terrified me. I can't swim and I keep as far away from water as I can. I also don't like showers because I don't like water pouring over my head.
