I was on holiday in North Wales once when the road I need to get back to my holiday flat was closed for some reason and I had to drive 180 degrees the in the opposite direction. I didn't know where I was, or where I was going, neither did my sat-nav because I watched it desperately trying to recalculate a route, but it was a really fun drive along the coast and I saw some beautiful scenery.
One of my friends uses Paint and does some really good stuff with it. He steadfastly refuses to even consider Photoshop even when he borrowed my old Laptop which had Photoshop on it.
I don't really care for stew, I like to taste the individual ingredients, by the same token I don't like sauces and other stuff put on my food because I want to taste what I'm eating not the sauce.

If they're in a Ford car that doesn't surprise me. My Ford has a built-in GPS system, but it's so complicated and hard to programme, and easy to get the wrong destination put into it, that I gave up on it and now use a Tom-Tom.
