  1. @Seshi Heheh yeah I saw the deer first but then 2 seconds later my imagination said "Naw, that's a warrior goose going Super Saiyan." That's why I love that style of art, sometimes you see something unintended, yet ultimately glorious~
  2. Not gonna lie, the dark inside area looks like a goose with one of those super short ponytails. I approve.
  3. It was over 36°F all day, a damn heat wave and I am thrilled.
  4. I much prefer small birthdays with only close friends and family and really rich relatives.
  5. Yeah I don't do well traveling and not a fan of large gatherings of people anyways tbh lol.
  6. As far as I know there are none close to me. I would need to do a lot of driving.
  7. And here I sit in the countryside with a max DL speed of 2mbps. Took me a straight week to download GTA5 on my computer back when it was only 50gb.

Yeah, me too, mostly. I am still slightly scared of the worst of mine but I try not to dwell on it~ @Seshi Yeah very true.

I would say "What if the assassins were pirates?" but ninjas are scientifically more awesome and I never understood the ninjas vs pirates thing~
  10. @Seshi I had that problem too. I learned the materials far faster than the rest of the class for the most part. I loved and still love learning, so my brain sponges up knowledge like mad. Which is great at first until nothing challenges you and you sit there thinking "Yeah this is easy and I know it already, can we move on to something new and interesting?"

And so, from that day on @Seshi had to live always looking over their shoulder, in fear of the assassins sent to silence them.
  12. Snake? Snaaaaaaake!? I don't buy into these things normally but admittedly the description for snake does fit me surprisingly well. Usually, people regard Snake as a cunning and sly animal, which likes hanging out in darkness. In fact, this animal is also a symbol of wisdom and wit. Therefore, people with Chinese zodiac sign 'Snake', sensitive and humorous, and most of them are gifted in literature and art, such as Goethe and Picasso. Suspicion is their weakness, which makes them hesitant and a bit paranoid. Strengths Soft-spoken, humorous, sympathetic, determined, passionate, smart Weaknesses Jealous, suspicious, sly, fickle, nonchalant Yeah is me in a nutshell almost.

Well, I got pretty much all of the hereditary health problems in my family so that's a thing~
  14. I haven't seen this movie is many years so I can't remember a thing about it, other than its overall story and that it was great~
  15. I like the idea behind this thread but I haven't seen enough anime to stand a chance of identifying most of them. Case in point, no clue here. So I am gonna be a smartass and say Sailor Moon~ But I will try one myself~ This guy is on his way to do business somewhere but finds a wolf in his wagon. The wolf is pretty chill and doesn't munch the guy like a Scooby Snack and he decides to return it to its natural habitat.
  16. For when you need an inspirational song to motivate yourself to do better:
  17. Finished Half-Life: Source. Onto Blue Shift next~

I have had a lot of pets and don't have photos for all of them at the ready. But I do have one. My first dog, Moose: He was a Border Collie so very hyper by default. He was also kinda crazy in his own unique way, and a bit of a clutz. Also way too smart for his own good. Moose liked to play with the cats although they were less enthusiastic... He never ever hurt them though. In particular he loved catching the cats between his front paws and sliding them around on the kitchen floor. They were much less thrilled with it than Moose. He also really loved toys and playing fetch with them, half of the pictures I have of him he has a toy in his mouth, eager to play. It has been years since he passed, but honestly I still miss the guy.
  19. I can never keep up with the really long series to be honest. I kinda prefer short and sweet in a way.
  20. I only rewatch if a friend is watching it and wants to watch together pretty much.
  21. @Illusion of Terra Yeah exactly that~ Heh, yeah I don't like the idea of debating things regarding criminals and criminal activity. After 4 maybe 5 years of dealing with them on a constant basis, learning about them, getting to know some of them, and almost getting stabbed by one and beaten by another, I don't think my mind can be changed and I may just get very agitated lol. But, I can say on the topic of specifically using a gun to injure, ignoring any possibility of retaliation, I still would personally use lethal force. While injuring may arguably, though not necessarily, be the moral choice, the issue is that specifically shooting to injure and successfully incapacitating someone nonlethally is gonna be extremely unlikely. You would need years of training to just have a chance and that still won't guarentee anything. Especially if they have a gun too. If they do, you don't get the luxury of making precise shots, that will just get you killed. Now if they have a knife or something and are rushing you, not nearly as dire but depending on distance you still may not have the time. If they aren't rushing you, or something else urgent, then using a gun at all there itself is possibly immoral. Even moreso if they are unarmed. Not to mention you may also very likely kill the aggressor accidentally even if you try not to. So regardless of one's stance, if you are using a gun in self defense you must be willing to take someone's life, because even if you don't want to and the idea sickens you, it may happen despite your best efforts. This is why I would only recommend using a gun if you think you are capable of taking a life. I know I personally don't have nearly the skill to make a non lethal shot in a life or death situation. If I wanted to live, I would have to shoot to kill by necessity unless they are standing still and not an immediate threat... in which case I wouldn't shoot in the first place. Now if shooting to injure and shooting to kill had the same success rates, then I would see it being fully arguable that you should shoot to injure. However I can only look at it from the realistic perspective; you either shoot to kill, or most likely get killed yourself. If shooting to kill seems immoral to someone, I think it is best for them to avoid guns in the first place.
  22. Granted, but everything else American becomes horrible. I wish when driving I could phase through all the other cars.
  23. Survival games? The Forest is by far my favorite. Mist has a lot of potential but isn't quite there yet. 7 Days to Die also looks fun possibly. I have spent a LOT of time on The Forest though both solo and coop with friends. I don't care for battle royales too much, though I like the concept. Oh wow I entirely misunderstood what was going on here, oopsies~ Guess that's what I get for not paying attention at all~
  24. I am feeling extremely optimistic and energetic, which is amazing given I am not a morning person~
