  1. Just a guess of course Though I think it would be at least 6 months & a number of 2020’s big sequels have already been delayed until 2021. I’m actually very grateful that season 2 hasn’t had any delays during it’s run.
  2. I found this anime astrology/personality test pretty fun

    https://www.crunchyroll.com/anime-feature/2020/07/24/quiz-what-anime-character-are-you-based-on-your-zodiac-sign

My result: “You are Miaka Yūki! You’re a true Taurus: not only do you enjoy food related hedonism, you’re also an avid-anime fan (and what anime fan doesn’t spend ample amounts of time at home?). Finding your way back home is also a hugely important task for you, and it doesn't get more Taurus than that. You’re trustworthiness, stubbornness, and loyalty to your friends does not go unnoticed.“ (seems fairly accurate, though I’m actually a Cancer)

I got Kakashi Hatake (Virgo).  The text said, "Though people might underestimate your power on first glance, they quickly realize you’re a highly intelligent, pragmatic individual who comes out on top in most situations. The Earth sign shines brightly in you, and you’re notable for being a somewhat introverted hardworker, thoroughly dedicated to your students."

Sounds good.  I'll take it.  And I actually am a ♍* irl.  :)  Not familiar enough with the Naruto universe to know what to think about the character association though, and the fact that I don't have any students makes me a bit of skeptical of the result.  🤔 Then again, being ♍ makes me skeptical of all metaphysics by nature.  🤣🤣🤣

*A Sept. b-day puts me in Virgo in the western school of astrology.  I was born in '64 so In the Eastern I'm a (wood) Dragon.

  3. Pretty sure one of the author’s requirements for a remake was a full adaption. I’m not familiar with the manga, but my biggest concern at the moment is that season 2 will end on a bit of a cliffhanger & we’ll have to wait at least a year for a continuation.
  4. Definitely different than your usual isekai series, largely because it seems the characters who get the most development just wind up as pawns in Ainz’ schemes. As far as myself, today is new episodes of Re Zero & Deca-Dence. Still making my mind up if Gibiate is worth my time. Tomorrow will probably rewatch episodes 1-3 of Appare Ranman since we will FINALLY get new episodes Friday. The story’s not real complex, but a refresher won’t hurt since it’s been since April.
  5. Welcome to the forums, hope you enjoy it here
  6. Not sure how much I’ve “matured” or “grown” over the past year, but I’ve definitely “aged” 🧟‍♂️

  7. And more Netflix anime https://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2020-07-21/netflix-streams-wit-studio-great-pretender-anime-outside-japan-on-august-20/.162090
  8. And more Goblin Slayer https://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2020-07-21/crunchyroll-releases-goblin-slayer-goblin-crown-theatrical-anime-on-july-28/.161985
  9. Lots of feelz over Momiji & his little sister. The irony being their parents making them both suffer while insisting it’s for the happiness of the family. The mom’s mental/psychological issues may be real, but still not fair to take it out on the kids. Uo is my favorite non-Soma with the episodes last season focusing on the person she used to be and how meeting Tohru & her mom changed her is a series highlight for me. Even though she’s left her delinquent lifestyle in the past, she still enjoys her reputation as a badass. So getting all worked up over a guy, particularly one she barely knows pisses her off. But the feelings & frustration are still there. I have misgivings about Kureno though. On the surface he appears to be Akito’s prisoner/hostage, but I still get the sense he’s hiding something. All I know is if he gets involved with Uo, he better do right by her. And I haven’t even gotten to my feelz for what’s going on with Tohru Will try to put some of them down this evening.
  10. More Aggretsuko coming in August https://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2020-07-20/netflix-debuts-aggretsuko-anime-season-3-on-august-27/.162063
  11. Dreading this afternoon. Have been lucky enough to not need dental work other than routine cleanings for about 10 years, but having prep work for a crown done today. I’ve had them done before & at least a root canal isn’t needed, but still not looking forward to it
  12. Continuing to make my way through Inuyasha between making up my mind about the currently airing series.
  13. Yep. Personally I think I enjoyed it more than the remake.
  14. My impressions of the Spring 2020 season

    https://www.crunchyroll.com/forumtopic-1059446/-spring-2020-anime-awards-#58587283

just a side note, these are not the “Official” awards Crunchyroll makes a big deal over, it’s something some subscribers do as an alternative.

  15. I enjoyed it enough that I’d like a sequel.
  16. Pros: I love it visually (art style & animation). It definitely can do high adrenaline fight sequences. Also like the music & overall concept. And there’s the potential for sone indepth worldbuilding. Cons: I find it’s sense of humor cringey sometimes & there are instances when I feel like it detracts from the action. Also wish the narrative was more coherent at times. As to this weeks episode: Certainly didn’t expect her to be a delinquent based on her character design. Just realized that the beginning of the OP focuses on the 5 pillars. Also not sure but think this was actually the first time the different “generations” of pyrokinetic abilities were explained, even though it was part of every character’s introduction.
  17. Gotta admit, that picture of Rei made me smile 😁

  18. Seems series like Beastars & BNA have helped an older “furry” series to get a sequel https://www.animenewsnetwork.com/daily-briefs/2020-07-15/netflix-to-stream-cg-animated-series-based-on-stan-sakai-usagi-yojimbo-comics/.161864
