Why was I given a warning for "Impersonating staff"? I in no way posted that I was a staff member, I merely told the person who posted in a thread I started on Muscular Anime Women that the girl he posted was not in fact a muscular anime woman.

@Clayton This is your last warning, discussing fetishes (which is the original topic, I'm not saying discussing sex is bad in other contexts) is not appropriate in a forum where minors can access, once again. If you fail to understand that, please do not interact in shared services with minors, in general.

@Clayton I will clarify then, it's not about nudity itself, obviously nudity in art is a completely different story. The reason why it's inappropriate is because of the subject itself: fetishes, which by definition is the hyper sexualisation of certain traits in any person or thing, and that is most definitely another form of R18 discussion, one that shouldn't take place in front of children for any reason. You were basically asking others "what turns you on?", I hope you can see why this is a discussion that 1. is not relevant to a healthy talk about anime, since it does already suffer a lot from harmful fanservice, and 2. is not fine in front of minors, I hope you can agree with that, at least

@Clayton It's not just that I disapprove, it is very evidently against the rules, which, again, I invite you to give another read! No R18 content anywhere in the forums, with the exception of approved clubs and in private if another +18 member explicitly gave permission for it.

@Clayton It simply does not belong in a forum where minors can freely access, I recommend you read our rules and guidelines to make sure this doesn't happen again!

@Clayton like I said in the warning note, I recommend reading again through the community guidelines, so it doesn't happen again! There are other things beyond inappropriate images that aren't welcome

Not about anything negative (I'm dealing with a lot of depression and pain but want to distract myself) but maybe my newish hobby if anyone wouldn't mind listening? Idk. If you wanna add my discord thatd be easiest, it's in my signature. I'm just doing kinda poorly emotionally lately and I need someone to talk about positive stuff with.

I doubt anyone is wondering about this, however this former member's goodbye message makes a very serious accusation towards me, and I don't like misinformation. So here's what they're referring to!
"wants to redefine the meanings of words", they were questioning the existence of a "no LGBT-phobia" rule, I promptly explained it a few times, to no avail.
"to suit their own agenda", dear human... is an agenda meant to protect individuals from harassment a program that shouldn't be endorsed?
The conversation I had with this lad a few months ago is still intact, and should anyone request it, I'll happily distribute complete screenshots for you to see with your own eyes their suspicious and obnoxious terms.It's usually a shame to lose members like this, but frankly, I'm quite delighted that they did the job of sparing Anime Forums from themselves. It deserves better than members audaciously attacking rules that protect a core and innocent part of the community.
PS: they were planning on a more dramatic departure? Shoot, I should've set off all the fireworks in celebration... but they're not worth it.

A forum site is only as good as it's community is willling to let it grow by contributing to it be it by striking up an entertaining conversation, making engaging threads or simply making content that catches the eyes of visitors enough to decide to make an account and be part of this home of ours.
