  1. hey you [explicit]! We're brothers, remember? It's rude not to say goodbye when you leave :P

  2. where are you friend

  3. Similar to SAO and a sad or generally emotional anime... hmm... I would check out Erased and Angel Beats.
  4. Definitely Eureka Seven and Spirited Away. Eureka Seven when I was younger (about Renton's age) because it helped me learn some valuable life lessons. I've also been re-watching it lately and can really relate as I have started a new job and am in a similar position to Renton in a way. Spirited Away helped inspire my love for fantasy and helped lead me to becoming a writer. It also taught me lessons about working hard and I re-watched it when I was having a hard time at my first job some years back...
  5. Both of those are very beautiful and sad.
  6. I almost always watch anime subbed, at least at first, and then I might re-watch the dub. I prefer some of my favorites in dub format (Eureka Seven and Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood both have great dubs). My favorite English voice actor is Crispin Freeman. Lots of the anime I watch don't have dubs and/or aren't even licensed in America. As far as learning Japanese goes, it's a very long process for me because I don't have much time. My main priority these days when it comes to anime and Japanese media is to learn more about Japan. That's not to say that I won't occasionally watch a wild and wacky anime, but a lot of the stuff I watch is Slice of Life. I'm also big into Japanese Dramas. These are good supplements to actual textbooks and classes. tl;dr: Subbed then I re-watch it dubbed sometimes; Learning Japanese but not just to watch anime unsubbed, more so for cultural appreciation and possible job opportunities. tl;dr;dr: I'm becoming a boring adult.

  10. First episode was fairly entertaining! This anime reminds me a lot of Shirobako so far in the sense that it's going to be a sort of love letter to the animation industry, and in particular, to voice actors. Chitose is cute, Kugayama is the most interesting character so far, and I strongly suspect that Shibasaki will be the most complex. Also, the next episode looks serious lol
  11. Taking a little mini road trip through the places where they filmed Walking Dead today!

  12. Pretty hard question to answer! I go through stages, but the older I get, the more I'm into Slice of Life anime. I also tend to watch a lot of real live action J-Dramas. Anime has become more and more about appreciating Japanese culture for me, which is hard to do when you're watching something like Bleach. That being said, Slice of Life tends to attract animators whose style is something like this:
