Exactly, I can only come at a conversation with an open mind to try and understand instead of judging.

I agree with this, it seems everyone hides who they truly are due to the expectations of the society we live in ... I can't say I'm any different since I'm never without a mask of my own, but I can pick up one other peoples real meanings quiet well even if they're hiding behind a mask.

I quiet enjoyed (Rabbit) Doubt and Judge, they're on the mystery/horror side of things ...

I think it depends on the person, although I can pretty much understand anyone's point of view because I enjoy seeing how others think.

I'm currently researching and studying a few things for a book I desperately want to write, instead of leaving the idea to die in the massive folder of character, plot, and story lines I had ... So far I'm still working on the plot for this particular project and I've got a few to pick from, I'm unsure as of yet but I'm still hoping this one won't be tucked away somewhere I'll just forget it. My 2 main characters are almost done seeing as I always write out their appearance, personality, bio, and such things before I even begin putting the story together ... I have started projects before and completely scrapped them due to the fact that I hate every word I write, but I'm really hoping this one will turn out differently since I'm really delving deep into this one and putting time into researching the facts that will be used. So far the plot revolves around a (Somewhat) rebellious girl who ends up being the one thing she didn't want to be, and a King who lost his whole kingdom. I'm planning on having it set in a re-imagined 13th century type world where everything is still run by Kings and Queens, seeing as it's re-imagined there will be a few things to keep it interesting and somewhat surprising as well.

Yes, the first gif @SAO LILDOOP posted is from Black Sails but mine is from The 100. Also, I hope you enjoy watching the show.

I started reading at a very young age, and it was one of the few things I actually did in my childhood ... I never met people or interacted with actual humans so I was never sure if I could really write anything with realistic characters and conversations, since I myself have no idea how they worked. I did begin writing poetry around 10 years old though after my Dad introduced me to it, it's something I find quiet whimsical when others write it but just down right depressing and dark when I do so ... I'm not sure if anyone would actually ever enjoy reading the poems I write. Besides being afraid that I can't portray characters realistically, I also struggle with actually finding the will power to write a book even though it's something I've wanted to do for years ... I always end up writing out all the character profiles, backstories, and part in the book, but then just shove that aside and forget about it because I'm not actually good at writing the book after the details are set. I think it's due to the fact that I'm super self-conscious and just hate everything I've ever written, so I try not to write something new just to hate it and myself even more.

Have you ever watched a show (Anime or non-Anime) where you find a side character more entertaining than the main protagonist(s)? If so, for what reason and which character?

I agree with everything you said in this forum ... Roan was by far my favorite character in the whole show even though he had much less time than all the other characters. His ability to lead his people with honor, strength, and intelligence was something I'd been waiting for since the beginning of the show. Every leader we've seen come to power during these 4 Seasons, has always made horrible mistakes whether it be because of stupidity, emotions, or just plain ignorance to others, each leader has failed multiple times in their plans to survive. Well, except for Roan. He always had respect for the other clans, he always carried himself with pride and did not cower away from a fight, he believed in his religion enough to die for it (which garnered even more respect from me), he thought every thing through instead of rushing into wars like the other clan leaders did, and, above all, he did what he had to do no matter the cost ... He never hesitated because his emotions collided with the facts, he never even batted an eye when threatened with war, and he never hesitated to stop someone who could destroy their whole chance at survival (unlike some/most characters who let their emotions get in the way of actual survival). Also, I agree with the statement you made about his apparel, seeing as I absolutely adored the fur coat he wore ...

I had 2 dogs when I was quiet young, the female was this beautiful rusty red colour while the male was white; I don't really talk about it anymore though because they both ended up dying and it kinda hit me really hard ... I did have 2 cats back then as well, I think they were a little before we got the dogs though but they ended up running away to be wild cats again. I've got a few more cats now, but they're outside cats ... I just feed them.

I started out as the quiet kid who didn't even exist to anyone else in the class, until I started questioning the Teachers and the way they did things ... I ended up almost getting into a fight with one Teacher, getting accused of cheating on tests just because my Math Teacher was upset I knew how to do the math she didn't know, and actually getting into a fight with a much older student. Now, my first thoughts on school were: "I'm going to be as quiet as possible and try to get through this without a major panic attack every day ..." but then I actually made a friend, she was very quiet and shy as well so it was a good match; I found out that she was very disliked by her Teachers for no apparent reason and made to stay after school to do extra work, so ... I ended up threatening the Teacher who was always yelling at her; something I thought I'd never do ... But then again I also ended up hitting that Teacher in the face with a soccer ball after she'd made my friend continue playing the dumb game we were always made to play even though her leg was hurt, and she was sick ... Aside from fighting and threatening Teachers I also was very disliked by the "Popular" group of girls from a class much higher than mine, even though I'd never even talked to these people before. They began to throw insults at me whenever they passed in the hallway but I couldn't have cared less ... One day, while we were playing dodgeball in the gym (All the classes did gym together) I saw that girl talking with her friends about something, I didn't really pay attention until she so clearly insulted my Brother just loud enough for me to hear. Now, I can usually take whatever dumb people wanna say about me, but if you bring my Brother into it I will most likely destroy you. Seeing as we were in gym I quickly called for the ball before spiking it right into the girls face; she fell over crying and I just stood there watching because, she should've seen it coming ... It ended with the Teacher freaking out on me and trying to make me apologize, I didn't of course and instead walked out of the gym with both of them still yelling. Other than those moments I was the quiet, anti-social, kid that I always am but my Teachers still didn't like me. I got accused of cheating by my math Teacher after I corrected one of her mistakes, and I got called into the Teachers office and yelled at for almost an hour just because I'd tried to help my history Teacher read the words correctly seeing as she was struggling with them. I never understood why I got in trouble for trying to be helpful, I mean, I was just pointing out the mistakes so they could fix them next time. Aside from that stuff I usually spent all day being quiet, and just trying to get away from everyone ... I'd always go wander off after school because I didn't have anyone to hang out with, my one friend was always kept in school way longer than everyone else, so I'd go on long walks ... That actually got me in trouble with my Mother who was freaking out when I got back home one night; I guess I'd forgotten the time and stayed out until almost 10 a-clock without telling anyone where I was going ...

What are some of your best school memories? What were you classified as in school, maybe the teachers pet or the rebel? Did you ever get into any fights with your teachers or other students? I, personally, have been homeschooled most of my life except for one crazy attempt at going to a public school ... Which, ended quiet horribly.

My anime would be set in a steampunk themed world where everything works with gears and pullies instead of the more advanced mechanical machines we're now used to ... Almost all forms of religion have been abolished and Catholicism is the only one left that is actually practiced and believed, although a few different religious books are still allowed just not openly taught anywhere. The story would focus on a young, 20 some year old kid with a knack for creating, which is completely banned and punishable by death in this world. Due to these rules his Parents were convicted and killed for being the inventors they were, this led our protagonist to take up their work along with the title of "Exorcist" seeing as anyone with the sort of inventions he has is seen as a witch/wizard and promptly killed for the practice of witchcraft; he works with a very quiet and somewhat troubled 12 year old who he saved from starvation after finding her on the streets one cold night ... They share a brother-sister bond and he takes care of her as best he can seeing as his whole lifestyle puts her in danger; they both work in the cover of darkness most often and take up the names "Schwarze" and “Nachtkrapp” to keep their true identities a secret. I've got quiet a bit of the plot already thought out since I plan on writing this as a book ... It would most likely have a lot of different elements since I'd like to really delve into the psyche of the protagonist as I throw obstacles his way; one, which I've already though up, that will be totally depressing and absolutely heart-breaking for both him and his sidekick ...

Wait, Kaneki Ken's at 85% suffering? Did whoever make this list forget this scene? ---> plus all the other crap Kaneki had to go through? I'm not sure how much suffering those in the 100% spots went through but I'd always thought Kaneki suffered almost as much as some one could possibly suffer. And what's with "Deserving" 25% percent? What did Kaneki ever do!? I know 25% is quiet low but Kaneki literally did NOTHING! Also, Eren with a 65% "deserved" rate? I fail to see how people think Eren "Deserves" any suffering when he hasn't done anything wrong ... He's struggling with the fact that he became the one thing he hates while everyone else gets point fingers at him and call him a monster. And Misaki Mei with an even higher rate of 75% percent? Still failing to see how these characters deserve any suffering at all when they did nothing wrong ... She was a little high school girl!

I once saw a very large pig hung up by it's feet with it's guts just left lying there, behind one of the buildings in my old schools town ... I usually found some sort of dead animal while wandering around that place after school.

Eh, nope. I would tell everyone that I watch Anime just because I want others to be able to understand how great it is, I'll also debate anyone on Anime topics because I defend my favorite shows/characters to the death.

Absolutely love that scene as well, but then again, I loved every Joker scene in that movie ... So much so that I could add every scene to this thread but I'll just post this one last scene.

Aye, Hange is such a cutie~

Maybe A? I mean, she's quiet cute~ What about Misaki Mei of Another?

Yeah, I'd hug~

As a kid, I was like Donnie too in some aspect when it comes to motivational speakers like Jimbo here. lol Of course, I never had the wit like Donnie to stand before the school and call someone the antichrist. I just thought that those speakers were full of BS, just spewing platitude without giving any real advice. I agree, most "Motivational speakers" seem to be complete liars who say whatever they need to, to sell their products. Ah yes, I've loved Joker for a long time and he's probably my favorite comic book villain just because he's so likable yet crazy at the same time. The movie scene I mentioned earlier was one of my favorites because of his twisted and sick plan which, personally, I completely loved~ and that little bit about seeing his victims last moments.

I'm not much of a movie person and instead prefer shows, but I absolutely loved the movie Donnie Darko. There were so many great scenes from this movie but I loved this one a lot because I can somewhat relate ... I had some problems in school due to my Teachers way of seeing things, and I guess, questioning their flawed way of teaching wasn't allowed. I also loved The Dark Knight because Heath Ledger's Joker was so perfect. This scene in particular was amazing.
