    Hello! :3

Welcome to AF! New faces are always more than welcome here. Hope to see you around!
  2. Hawaii, huh? Well, one more reason for me to try and make it out there sometime.
  3. That sounds... absolutely, delectably, irresistibly sinfully good.
  4. Time is ticking away on the Notice Me Senpai contest! :O https://animeforums.net/community/threads/contest-2017-❤-notice-me-senpai-❤.3938/

  5. Would I have to beat each game before moving on to the next? If so, I'd rather just watch the movies, so I could just zone out. Pick one of the following: Give up beef for the rest of your life. Give up chicken for the rest of your life. Give up pork for the rest of your life. Give up life.
  6. Yeah... the whole concept of games as a service only really makes sense - in my eye, at least - for MMORPGs, where you're constantly getting a stream of content updates, and free to play games, where there's no significant up-front costs.
  7. You've taken the words that I often use to describe the differences right out of my mouth, to be honest! (y) Rabid fans of just about anything can be a fairly frightful thing to have to deal with, and something that I'm very happy doesn't seem to be much of a thing here - I mean, we all love anime, sure, but for the most part everyone is reasonable enough to not try and execute people who don't like their favorite show. Having dealt with that a lot in the past, I'm honestly very happy to be completely and utterly away from it. I think that's about right, yeah - heck, I actually own an old PS1 Gameshark that I bouht back in the day to make JRPGs more accessible to myself, by cutting the grind out. Thankfully it's less an issue if I'm not the one actually playing, since I can just zone out and glance at my phone or whatever while Cy~ is slogging her way through the grind. With that said, one exception to my general dislike of grinding would be ... the Disgaea series, for whatever reason. I bloody love grinding my way through them for hours on end. Very nice! I'd love to give both Steins;Gate games a try at some point - I watched the anime a few times with several different people, and enjoyed the heck out of it each time through... and I still need to finish the first Danganronpa game at some point. I gave Hatoful Boyfriend a try with Cy~, but we didn't really care much for it to be honest. The amount of junk on Steam is... a tiny bit exasperating, to say the least - but, with that said, there are some things on it that I'd recommend... First and foremost, I think Aviary Attorney deserves a shout-out. It's basically a bird-version of Ace Attorney, set in 1840s France, with utterly stunning artwork, and stories that I think - and this might be heresy - put the actual Ace Attorney games to shame. I mean... look at this. Beyond that, for visual novels on Steam, the only things that immediately spring to mind would be Planetarian and Clannad, though neither are particularly obscure or unknown.
  8. Cy~ absolutely lost it when I read this out loud to her.
  9. Cy~, you magnificent bastard... I READ YOUR BOOK! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AJXKVOxqkWM
  10. I own an old Wacom tablet that I found at a Goodwill store years ago. I never used it much until last month, when I came across it and tested to see if it worked at all... since then I've been using it for goofy doodles and things of the sort. I tried a couple different programs, and found Sketchbook Pro to be a pretty pleasant thing to work with. I'm utterly useless at any sort of advanced techniques, but for simple things, at least, it has been pretty pleasant. For minor image editing, resizing, cropping, and things of that sort, I typically use Paint.net, which is a pretty good freeware program that is very easy to use. On the exceedingly rare occasion that I do anything involving animation (like my signature) I use ... well, let's just say that it's a terrible, ancient thing that will be old enough to vote in a couple of years that I use. But yeah, I'm basically a total newbie when it comes to image stuff.
  11. Huh. I went into your profile, delete your signature, and re-inserted it precisely as it was when it wasn't working and --- it seems to be working?
  12. Odd that it would be doing that at this point, since as far as I can tell from your signature, it's pointing to the right location for the image.
  13. This answer was everything that I had ever hoped for, and so much more.
  14. Take picture - put on top of other picture... and you are done! World class edits are now at your fingertips!
  15. All according to plan. I believe in you, Sekkarou!

    Newbie~

Hiya, hiya I'm Chelsea, and I also love chicken. I approve of your good culinary taste! And it's nice to meet you, as well. You seem like a fairly pleasant person, so nope, no fear here! I hope that you decide to stick around, and look forward to seeing you around the forum! Also, don't mind Sekkarou. He's harmless, really. Just don't try to feed him, and everything should be good.
  17. Good, good. Second thoughts? :'( Oh well. I have faith in your potato!
  18. @Nutty @Nectar @Muco @Teru @Wet @RyePotatoes @Sekkarou Just a heads-up, entries are due on this Saturday, the third! Be sure to show us your letters, your poetry, your death threats, and/or any combination of the above.
  19. Looks interesting! I'd definitely give it a go. How about chicken enchiladas?
  20. What exactly are you so repentant about, anyway?
  21. What do you really think?
  22. Anyone want to bet that the Steins;Gate remake will be finished and released before Type-Moon puts out a single update about the Tsukihime remake? Anybody? Nobody? Fiiiiine.
  23. It depends. If it were this angel, I'd invite her to take a look at my game library, and see if there was anything there that she'd like to give a try. If it was an angel angel, I'd probably grow mildly concerned about why he or she was appearing before me, and what they were about to tell me. I mean... let's face it, it isn't every day that you get visited by something like that - chances are that they wouldn't be coming down to snack on guacamole while engaging in idle chit-chat!
