SO SO SO TODAY I FINALLY GOT A HYDRANGEA!!!~ I've wanted one like my WHOLE life, like one that's my own XD 
I went downstairs to get the mail today and the concierge told me I had a package, which was weird because I wasn't expecting a package, so I took said package (which was gigantic) upstairs and unpacked it and there was a freaking hydrangea in it!! With a birthday note from @Jellal (my birthday is in 17 days wheewoohoo?) 

I posted these on the plants topic but I also wanted to post them here since it was such a huge part of my day. Hydrangeas have always been my fave plant and I've been wanting to get one for the balcony and just not done it. So really this was like the best birthday gift ever @Jellal and completely unexpected. 

I later found out he and @Zeref conspired together with Pessi telling him our address and this was also why Pessi suggested I should go get the mail because he knew the gift had arrived 

I knew you would like this I think we did good organizing this lol.

Went out earlier to get some fireworks. We go to a tent shop near our house, and there were quite a few people there. Just as my boyfriend and I had finished, it began to rain cats and dogs. We were soaking wet by the time we go back to the car, but the fireworks were safe--at the least. 

Just used a few earlier before we had to come inside--it began to drizzle a little bit. I stayed in to be with my dog, since loud noises (let alone fireworks) scare her.

I did some shopping a bit earlier for food, took my car for a wash, tidied up the house a bit. Nothing too special or exciting. After that played my usual games.

That's the worst part about fireworks, even though I do love fireworks I hate the way they effect animals and people with PTSD issues

I annoyed @Jellal all day, watched a movie, played Runescape then when it got closer to dark we went up to the Sky Deck of our building and loaded up on the free food. They were having a 4th of July party for all residence and there was free wings and all kinds of food  We ended up watching the fireworks from our house balcony though since our balcony faces the bridge the fireworks were on. It was nice having a front row seat. It's really cool to be up this high because you can see out over the city and you just see hundreds of fireworks people are setting off in every direction and it's very pretty.

I've not done much today so far. I woke up at silly o'clock and couldn't get back to sleep so I spent a few hours talking to sakura on Disc and doing a bit of GFX

I need to get my sleep schedule a bit more in order, it's been really bad lately, staying up until 6 or 7 am. I guess it doesn't matter so much since I'm more of a night person myself and there isn't really anything to do but it feels like I should be going to bed a bit more earlier. That will be a problem I'll try to sort on Monday. For today I got up late and stayed in, ordered some food, played Runescape, did much of nothing.

You and I both @.@ We are keeping each other up late though LOL I keep you up till who knows when then I stay up too because we keep talking so both our schedules are soooo messed up ~ but yeah total night person too so staying up until 3 or 4 or whatever is fine with me. Especially more in the Summer because I'd rather sleep the hot day away x.x

I finished some quests on Runescape today but I didn't do much outside of the house. The heat was just wayyy too much ;-;

Like Jellal I need to get my sleep schedule sorted out, but it's not easy with this hot weather. Yesterday I went to bed at 11:30pm and didn't wake up until 6am today so I was pleased with that.

Actually not a whole lot honestly. Played Among Us and did a voice chat with some people for a few hours yesterday. Hung out on the porch for awhile. After Andy got home from work we just relaxed for a little while. Then we watched a movie, Rock & Rule

I have to force myself to keep my sleep schedule in order even when I don't want to because I know I'll regret it later. The most tempting times to mess it up are on the weekends. 

I ran a few errands this morning I needed to finish before Monday. Nothing big. Probably going to hang out around the house until bedtime just gaming.

Just coming up on 11:30am now and I’ve managed to get quite a bit done so far this morning!

Woke up just before 6am, threw on a load of laundry, cleaned the kitchen, started the dishwasher, folded laundry, tidied the living room, and did the grocery shopping!

Now I’ve got chicken thighs cooking for lunches this week and I’m working on infusing some butter. 
 

Chores done, bills paid, now we can do whatever we want for the rest of the day

Cleared a shelf in a nearby cabinet so I can build a place to hide all the gear for my phone/internet/cable connection and the main switch for the house LAN.  This all used to just be piled on the a desk near where the wires entered the house.  That looked messy and was a bit of a pain when it came to dusting.  I didn’t like the cable monster or the noise.  Can’t get rid of the cable monster but this way it is at least hidden.  With the cabinet doors closed it’s a lot quieter too, even with the addition of a couple fans in the cabinet for ventilation.  I’ve got filters on both of the cabinet fans so hopefully that cuts down on the dust accumulation and makes cleaning quicker/easier.

The cabinet is mounted to the wall above the desk so this also gives me back desk real estate.  It also lets me move the desk  for cleaning.  A bit further down on the todo list is getting the rug cleaned so this project is kind of a prerequisite for that.

So far I have the exhaust fan installed and I’m going to put another on the other side to pull air in and blow it across the equipment.  I also still need to make a hole in the bottom for the cables themselves, then reroute & re-cable everything.

But first, lunch..

I have not done very much today since it's too hot. I took some trash out which doesn't require going outside and got the mail which also doesn't require going outside. No one has been to get the mail in a few days and I finally remembered  I'm going to make dinner soon and that'll be it for the day.

I'm heading off to bed in a few minutes, a few hours earlier than I've been. I'll slowly get the sleep schedule in order.

Lol true but at least we can leave messages for each other if someone is asleep  

I haven't really done much today just hang out with some friends online chatting mostly all day on Discord while playing Runescape.

 Now I'm having some lunch! Chicken with quinoa, cherry tomatoes, cucumbers, Kalamata olives, Daiya feta, toasted pine nuts and a squeeze of lemon

After lunch I’ll finish up the last half of the day at work and then head home

I had a 4 hour work shift today and some customer came into the back room! ⊂•⊃_⊂•⊃ I was asking what are you doing and why are you back here you can't be back here but they kept ignoring me saying they were looking for something not on the shelf but wouldn't tell me what it was and I had to go find a manager to get security to finally remove them (￣。￣)

Oh yes. There are some people who think they have the right to go anywhere they want. I've had people trying to unlock the counter flap so they can get behind the counter. One day I had a pallet truck with a full pallet of paper on it totally blocking the door, but some guy was so determined to get in that he climbed over it.

My sister is moving this week so a lot of free time during the day is going to be spent helping her pack up and load a moving truck.
