When I told her I didn't she just said "Hmm you look like someone who would know where the hangers are" then she like stared at me for a few before she finally left ._. Like... What? Lmao what does that mean? is that an insult or a compliment? I definitely wasn't wearing anything that made me look like an employee either, both me and my friend were even carrying our backpacks still lol I think I'm always gonna be wondering in the back of my mind now if I look like some kinda hanger saleslady ;-; 

I am going to just be curious forever what was this lady thinking when she says that because I didn't think people could look as if they should know where hangers are These sort of thing always happen to you lol.

I need answers too :V give up on fish sis and start selling hangers. I think this was an insult tbf because "hanger salesperson" doesn't really sound like a compliment

Today I only woke up and I'm laying in bed. I don't have a class until later and I have theater tonight.

Today I went grocery shopping with Sakura and somehow grocery night also becomes go out and get milkshakes night so we stopped for that on the way home  No one asked her tonight if she knows where any hangers are while we were out.

I had another clinical day today shadowing a nurse. It wasn't the most exciting day, but it wasn't entirely stressful either. After lunch, we had a group study session for our upcoming exam. I can tell that everyone is feeling on-edge about it, as so many of us got together just to review. 

April won't be a fun month for us, as we have exams every Monday starting the week after next. Collectively, we didn't do very good so we're all really nervous. But today went well. As physically exhausted as I was, I feel more confident about the exam after doing some review questions. I don't think I've studied as hard as I am now; this program is no joke.

So today I had a pretty great day tbh, I think this positivity manifesting stuff is kicking in lolll I know one thing, it isn't hurting anything. I feel much more awake lately and today I didn't even fall asleep or feel like I need a nap once ._. I've also been eating better and sleeping *slightly* better. Maybe some of it has to do with letting go of a past thing I've held onto for far too long and I feel like the future actually has some sort of happiness/hope for me in it now, either way I'm really liking how I'm feeling lol 

I got milkshakes today with Pessi after we did grocery shopping and I went downstairs to get my Amazon packages and I happened to have on a Naruto shirt and the concierge guy ended up talking to me about Naruto. So I ended up sitting down at the desk with him for like 45 minutes just discussing Naruto and some other animes which was so fun ~ I'm not usually the type to sit down and have a conversation with people idk either so this was also a positive difference  OOO and there were dogs, our maintenance man was bringing his dogs downstairs for a walk when I was down there and I got to sit and play with puppies also for like 15 mins lmao

Oh WOW!! Monday's are bad enough without having exams on them as well . But it's good that you're feeling confident about the exams and putting in the study time so I'm sure you'll do well. One of my friends is a nurse at our local hospital so I have an idea of how hard the exams can be.

This all sounds really promising, I'm so glad that you're feeling more positive about life and are sleeping and eating better and are coming to believe that there is a happier future for you.  You probably made the  concierge guy's day as I don't suppose he has a lot of opportunity to talk to people about anime in his job, and you got to play with cute puppies as well

I WISH TO PET THE PUPPIES TOO I'm happy for you sis it sounds like a fun day. I know what you mean about not liking to talk to people but sometimes it's nice.
 

I went to visit my dad today. We went out for food together for lunch. My dad still seems to be having a rough time with losing his brother but I've noticed some improvements. I think he'll just have to grieve awhile.

I had planned to spending a relaxing day at home but than somehow got dragged out with @Sakura and her friends. I was told we were only going to get food but somehow they drove me to the hood or ghetto whatever bad area is called to get nachos at some obscure booth in the middle of it. Someone was selling illegal substances out of a car there and when we got into our car to leave some older person whacked on our car window with a cane asking for money which scared my soul out of me  

Than they got us lost down there and wind up walking in a cemetery which doesn't seem to me a safe idea. I thought this craziness was over but nope they than go across the bridge to Indiana and go to the mall, walmart, arbys, various other places. There was so much things that happened and I was most scared the entire day lol. I was gone from this morning until now around 9PM so this was a long day.

My own day wasn't nearly as interesting. I did some wash and had lunch out with a coworker. Since then I've been around the house doing little things that needed to be finished such as dishes and vacuuming.

After church this morning the usual group of us went out to the local pub/restaurant and had lunch together which was very enjoyable. I'm quite happy eating on my own at home, but it's always nice to eat out with friends ever so often.

In the afternoon, since it's Mothering Sunday (also known as Mother's Day) here in the UK I went to the cemetery to place some bright yellow daffodils on my parents grave.

My today wasn't as interesting as yesterday it's mostly been spent at home playing games and snacking. I thought about going for a walk but the weather has been looking questionable and I was thinking if I did that I would get rained on.

Mostly stayed in bed tbh I didn't feel like doing anything ~ I only got up now because I'm being dragged to go to a clan war on RS that I don't really feel like doing

I finished work for the week. I do have to say that it wasn't all too bad; I had a pretty light load. It's always nice feeling satisfied knowing that I put my all into something. 

(Don't worry, I'm not breaking HIPPA...)

I had a patient today that was actually interested in becoming a nurse, and the charge nurse asked if I could talk to him. With no hesitation, I introduced myself to him and had a very nice chat. I told him what it was like to start off as a nurse's aide, and then to progress through the program until I earned my RN license. The whole time, he seemed excited the more I told him. I felt honored that I was able to ignite the fires of his enthusiasm. While he was in his late-30's, I admired his determination to change career paths. Nursing certainly isn't for everybody, but I could tell that he was all for it. Most importantly for him: it wasn't too late. It's never too late for anybody! His family had come to visit, and everyone was thanking me for giving him the support to get started. Again, I was truly honored.  I'll remember him now, and I wished him luck as I left for the evening.

It's was really good of you to take the  time to share your love of your calling with the gentleman and encourage him in his interest in becoming a nurse.
