I'm spending most of the evening working on a project for school where I have to interview family members about their childhoods, what kind of technology they grew up with, and how they feel about technological advances today. I'm interviewing my sister, mom, and my step-dad for the project. Tonight I did the interview with my step-dad which went interestingly :V

Sounds pretty interesting. I'm sure you got some pretty neat answers, as there was definitely a major shift in technological advances within the past 50 years. Some grew up without knowing what the Internet was, while those of younger generations were practically engulfed in it. May I ask what your project is about?

I had a good study session today with my group. I think we all came in expecting to not know everything, but it felt good to review the material and organize the information from our lectures better. What's difficult about this semester is that there's a lot of diseases, pathophysiology, and medications to remember. In our program, this semester is deemed the hardest--as many people don't usually make it past the first time. They end up having to repeat this specific course alone.

Aside from the normal classes and classwork I went out and got some things done ~ I went grocery shopping so that there would be food in the fridge by the time Pessi gets home from New York today lol + then I went and got myself a butterscotch milkshake on the way home. I'd been wanting to try the butterscotch flavor and I think I may have found my new fave one @.@ 

I didn't have much to do this evening so I just sat in front of the fireplace, watched a movie, and decorated some PC holders. I haven't done that in awhile and it was really relaxing and let me sit with myself and think about some things that have been going on in my mind lately. Quiet time like that really let me reflect on some things I needed to think about and I feel a ton more confident in the decision I've made up my mind about.

I sometimes buy butterscotch blondies (they're like brownies but butterscotch).

It sounds like you're really sorting things out and I'm glad to hear that. You've been doing a great job with letting go of past things. 

I ended up having to be at work at my residency for more hours than I planned on today and I'm not really happy about it. Things happen I guess and can't do anything about it. I'm going to enjoy getting in bed soon after I eat.

I finished working for this week and have the next days off until Monday since my business trip to New York counted as work. I slept in today late since I was tired from traveling home yesterday and haven't done a lot but being lazy. I did forget to pick @Sakura up from school which she has let me know about very loudly and with throwing a book at me several times  I felt bad I didn't do that on purpose lol. I'm going to make this up by making dinner tonight so I'll make chicken curry.

Interviewed my sister for my project today and mostly spent the time outside of class working on that. Tomorrow I'll be interviewing my mom for it.

There was very different answers between someone like myself and my sisters age compared to someone like my step-dads age. The project is about the role of technology in family communication and relationships. I'm asking questions such as what types of technology is commonly used in their household, how frequently technology is used to communicate, how has technology changed the way you communicate with family members, do you think technology strengthens or weakens family bonds, etc.

I got abandon at school as stated above ^ when @Zeref forgot to pick me up from classes so I made the mistake of thinking I could walk @.@ Instead I was attacked by CanadianeseRexs that tried to end my life, meaning I had to detour like 30ish minutes out of my way to avoid death  but yeah at least Zeref made chicken curry I guess... though I am not entirely forgiving just yet u.u Food does help the situation though ~ Other than that I made some GFX for a friend's game clan, finished homeworks, and now I'm just playing a game before bed.

I also decided to start trying to eat a little better/healthier today because I often skip meals or don't eat at all for a day ~ so this morning I had oranges/apple slices/eggs and for lunch I made myself a turkey wrap with sun-dried tomato tortilla, oven roast turkey, bell peppers, lettuce, tomato, tzatziki & swiss cheese, then I ate the entire dinner of curry chicken on white rice and I'm honestly quite proud of myself V.V I also had zero soda and only drank water ~

That video was hilarious  I never really had this fear of these geese in Finland but since I moved here I began to understand it. In Chicago it seemed worst than here, there is that one spot by the riverfront boats where hundreds of them seem to linger and always wanted to attack. There are worst than seagulls and I have a healthy fear of these now.

My day today was okay since I don't have work I just slept in later and played games today. I also went out to run and then workout in the gym which felt good to do that since I hadn't done it since last week before my trip. I noticed they are starting to arrange new furniture on the roof today for the upcoming firework show called "Thunder Over Louisville". This will be my first time seeing it and looking forward to it because it is one of the largest fireworks displays in North America. We will have a front row seat to it from our buildings roof for free.

I dunno what happened to me today but I was in Walmart with one of my friends and some crazy lady cornered me and asked me if I knew where the hangers were at. When I told her I didn't she just said "Hmm you look like someone who would know where the hangers are" then she like stared at me for a few before she finally left ._. Like... What? Lmao what does that mean? is that an insult or a compliment? I definitely wasn't wearing anything that made me look like an employee either, both me and my friend were even carrying our backpacks still lol I think I'm always gonna be wondering in the back of my mind now if I look like some kinda hanger saleslady ;-;
