A quick Google search and a little research on the origin of this song turn up that it was written in 1820 and was written about a muffin shop on Drury Lane found in London's West End. I don't think they have blueberry smoothies though.

So the muffin man DID live on Drury Lane O: But is he still on Drury Lane? If I go to London is there a muffin shop specifically on that street? We need AnimeDragon to go find the real muffin man he's the closest lmao ~

Spoiler

The Muffin Man | Twin Sisters

Take this picture with you to Drury Lane and if there is a muffin shop there go in there and show them this picture and ask them if this man is there so we will know he is legit.

I might be the closest but I'm not that close, Drury Lane is about 12 miles from my house as the dragon flies, so I took a journey along the place vi Google street view and it's a typical boring London street with mostly offices and blank walls. There are a few shops and cafes, mostly expensive looking places but then again you don't get cheap eating places in London, but I saw no muffin man or his shop.

If you do go to London there are a lot more interesting places to visit than Drury Lane 🙂

If there was a muffin shop there and I went in and showed that picture and asked if that man was there I'd get a very rude, and unrepeatable, reply and would probably be thrown out of the shop.

I lost my marbles. I can't seem to find them.

I mean actual marbles. lol A childhood friend of mine gave me a bag of marbles as a way to remember her when she moved away. I really hope I can find them. She was a good friend. ;.;

Yeah I agree ~ I say as its almost 2 in the morning and I'm on the internet posting on a forum /sip XD

There's nothing wrong with staying up until silly o'clock in the morning, just as long as you don't have school or work the next day. 😀

I'm stealing the phrase silly o'clock 🤣

Sometimes I do that when I do have work the next day and then I regret it the following day when I feel like I need a nap by lunch time.

Being an adult is hard, no one tells me when to go to bed anymore and I don't know how I'm expected to make all these decisions on my own : <

When you're an adult, especially if you live on your own, there are just so many decisions you have to make 😱. Sometimes it can be really tough 😵‍💫

Your friend is a linguistic genius then, props to him : >

I live on my own in my own apartment since I opted to not live on campus. I have to do all kinds of things like deciding what level of toilet paper to buy --I never knew toilet paper had levels--, mop the floor but to do that you have to decide from an entire aisle of products which one will actually clean the floor. The same thing goes for laundry and its detergent. Don't get me started on grocery shopping and trying to calorie count and watch my sugar intake...

I know the problem with cleaning products, the household supplies aisle has way too many products to choose from. 😵‍💫

When it comes to picking out cleaning supplies I always just picked the ones that I remember my mom used and those seemed to work just fine. For now I don't have to worry about this because Sakura is the one who usually buys the cleaning supplies here or the things for the laundry.

Pfft that's all I do too is get the stuff my mom used to use on my clothes because I knew it worked xD Dawn products or Tide and Downy Unstoppables, Mr. Clean and Scrubbing Bubbles stuffs, + that Febreeze fabric stuff. I even buy the same brands of Hefty garbage bags she gets lol

Actually, that's all I do. I pick the stuff my mother bought because I know it works, although sometimes I get confused when the manufacturer changes the packaging style.

I did that when I was at home but now that I'm in an entirely different country than the one I grew up in I had to figure out all new packaging and products for myself. I usually just look for whatever name brand seems the best that I've seen on T.V. They usually work better than off-brands. Perhaps not in all cases but at least that way I know I'm likely getting something that at least will do the job it's intended for.
