The rest of the parts for my computer upgrade have arrived. Now comes the fun bit of taking the computer apart and fitting all the new bits in.

I love to build new systems and upgrade old systems. (Though with prices as they’ve been for the past couple years I’ve had to exercise restraint and only go for the upgrades that are actually necessary. It’s been tough. ) I’m still using an older AMD 2700X-based system with an ancient - in computer years - RX 480 GPU but I’ve been keeping up with prices and tech with an eye towards building a brand new system, once the prices for GPUs and DDR5 bits come down a skoshi.

I've always loved booting up a new build/upgrade. I just got a second SSD to put in my computron. Those games on Steam can really take up the space.

Finished Science Fell in Love season 2 Seriously, WTF???!!! I really enjoyed season 1, but this was a disappointment from the start. Then things went off the rails at the end of episode 11 & the final episode just got cringier & cringier. It was really a struggle to make it to the end This is one of those rare instances where I actually regret watching a show. Even if you’re a fan of the original (I am), I strongly recommend considering it the end of the story & not bothering with season 2. Sorry for getting ranty, but Probably funniest moment of the whole 1st cour, though it was a couple weeks ago. As to this week’s ep I actually find it funnier that Anya essentially sicced Yor on the guy by latching onto him “Mama, I’m being kidnapped” Funniest to me though was Anya referring to Loid & Yor as her “lackeys”. Considering how the episode ended, I ‘d say it’s a spot on assessment

Way back in the old days I used to rebuild my computer every two years when a new faster CPU came out. My current machine was built when Win 7 came out so its CPU is well out of date and struggles with some modern software, so it's well overdue for a rebuild.

I felt so bad for poor Anya when Loid stopped her from going in his room. I mean, I know he had good reason to stop her, but still.... Ahh well, at least she had them both eating out of the palm of her hand afterwards. "Lackeys" indeed.

not even to me the best part so far was Yor's drunkin reaction to Loid about to give here her first kiss priceless

Today was the end of Spy x Family’s 1st cour, so now we wait for October. Glad that it was more of a fun episode & didn’t end on a cliffhanger. Though the trailer for the 2nd cour does deliver the hype

Soooo how did the Scarecrow manage to get in to a university ? he just happened to be out standing in his field ok im not a dad either ! tho i am getting old in life ! old enough whilst i was at my doctor the other day he suggested to get me a little more active i should take up a hobby rather than just sit around so i took up meditation tho i do some times go out i went down to McDonalds to get my self a meal yesterday whilst i was wondering what to get some impatient younger person pulled up behind me and started leaning on their horn when i got to the pay window i offered to the girl to pay for the person behind and when they found out they gave me a wave and followed me up to the next window where i presented both receipts and collected both orders and left moral of the story never piss of an old person , we have lived longed and know how to play dirty
