Ahh so Manglobe produced this one? I was a huge fan of Ergo Proxy. Will need to start watching this as soon as possible. Watched it today and yeah, definitely getting that Black Lagoon vibe. In terms of cities, Black Lagoon's Roanapur is pretty similar to Gangsta's Ergastulum... Good solid start. Very gripping soundtrack.

Now of course wouldn't it be nice if your laptop excelled in all of these features? However that's very rarely the case. I think weight and aesthetics comes to mind for me. I feel lugging around a heavy or bulky laptop can quickly become tedious. My computing tasks aren't overly demanding when on the go - I have my desktop for that. On that basis I find the MacBook Pro 13" with Retina screen (my work device) and my Surface Pro 3 pleasant to use. But they're both relatively poor gaming devices for sure. What about you?

Fascinating start! These supernatural element powers are quite interesting. Yuu is very arrogant indeed. But completely melts when his younger sister Ayumi gets really cheerful. Nao and Joujirou are both intriguing... besides treating Yuu as a punching bag during their first encounter I really am curious to know more of their backstories. Ayumi seems to get along really well with Nao. Ayumi seems to have a big interest in astronomy when she was using that telescope in their first house. Based on the preview posters and the PV, it's possibly hinting towards something big happening within the stars? As for Yusa, assuming she'll be introduced in the next episode. Looking forward to it..

Usual Disclaimer: I do not condone this when anime titles are released and licensed, please support our lovely animation studios by buying your titles and merchandise when they're licensed in your country etc. etc. I've been pretty happy with Deluge but for this season I am switching to the built in client called Download Station on my Synology NAS. I am linking up RSS feeds for each show I would like to watch so it will automatically download it as soon as the release is available. Most torrent clients support RSS feeds but I figure since the NAS is always on 24/7 it is the ideal device. And even set it to email me when it has finished (i.e. a new release): I also have Plex set to automatically update my library every hour from the NAS so theoretically that should keep it fully automated... will see how it goes. For the record, I have never seen Symphogear - it was a random example to test the concept.

I've more or less drilled the individual hiragana and katakana in my head. I can read them individually but really slowly! I feel like a first grader again! I realise over time my reading speed will improve but I'm curious to know how you improved your reading speed. Perhaps it comes naturally as you learn new vocabulary? Rote memorisation by flash cards/app or writing them over and over?

Yeah looks like a company in Thailand has the license to produce their own version... I've tried both. The Thailand one is cheaper but the chocolate is not as good. But the biscuit part was more or less the same.

I've always considered Final Fantasy games to be exceptional. The first one I played was Final Fantasy VIII. I played the demo many times so I just had to have it ASAP. I enjoyed the "Gardens" and "SeeD" academies, a good adventure with Squall and Rinoa. As FFVIII was my first, I found it to be the most memorable so that's my vote. I played FFVII shortly afterwards and found it more frustrating but enjoyed the story too. Ehh but FFIX I never played in full. It just didn't draw me in for some reason...? It's a game I would like to revisit one day. Final Fantasy games I recall were notorious for being spread across multiple discs, from memory FFVIII was on 4 discs. All those FMVs, music and digital sound effects. Was surreal at the time. My close second would probably have to be FF XIII-2. It started to go downhill on FFXIII but I felt it really picked up on XIII-2 with a strong focus on Serah. Which reminds me I still need to finish XIII-3...

Who doesn't love Japanese voice actors? They bring our lovely anime characters to life! I found it quite surprising though how veteran some of the Seiyuu are. My two favourites include: 1) Inori Minase voices many loli and moe characters: Hestia (Dungeon ni Deai wo Motomeru no wa Machigatteiru Darou ka) Noel (Sora no Method) Chino (Gochuumon wa Usagi Desu ka?) Eddelrittuo (ALDNOAH.ZERO) 2) Kana Hanazawa has a VERY diverse range of characters: Kanade Tachibana (Angel Beats) Charlotte Dunois (Infinite Stratos) Mayuri Shiina (Steins;Gate) Mato Kuroi & Black Rock Shooter (BRS) Pururut (Hyperdimension Neptunia the Animation) How about you?
