1. I still haven't watched Dog Days. I must give it a go sometime. If I recall correctly, female neko characters you find very cute. On an unrelated note - I don't think we have any neko characters in our screenshot gallery. May be worth using Dog Days as a basis for that.
2. Lots of Plastic Memories merchandise now available for preorder. If you're an Isla fan, better get in quick. Oh yes, episode discussion.
Slow episode. Interesting ending though - Tsukasa finally admits his love for Isla. And in turn Isla turns bright red as a tomato. Will Isla go combat crazy towards the end? Will Tsukasa pull a runner with Isla even after witnessing the Giftias don't seem to retain their memories after being refurbished? So many questions.
3.
Oh Lancer, what a badass comeback - if not for a moment. Its been awhile but thinking back to Fate/Zero, Lancer was also forced to suicide too by the same method via a command seal back then. Hence his reference to having bad masters using him for personal gain. When I watched Fate/Zero on my Blu-rays it was on the English dub (which was well done) but it would be worth watching it again for the original Japanese audio. Now Emiya, overcome and defeat your future self!
4. Thinking of giving this series a go. How's the fan service in this one? Not too excessive?
5. I've gone back to a single screen setup for sometime now. My desktop is still full of icons - I've hidden them for this screenshot. Tail on - Tailblue!
6. There are mother****ing moeblobs on the mother****ing stage! My smartphone battery has depleted to 0% so now _____________________________________
7. Cover finally arrived a week ago and I installed it yesterday. Some photos. Stock HDD cover and the box it came in.. Our favourite CPUs from GameIndustri - Neptune, Vert, Blanc and Noire send their regards. I really do think white looks good. Remove the existing HDD cover (just pull it upwards with the PS4 standing upright): And then slide the new one on, done! It doesn't look bad when the PS4 is horizontal. But clearly it shines when it is vertical: Moved it back to the Home Theatre. Ambient back-lighting adds a subtle glow even with the lights out. A few updates on the actual game.. Making steady progress. Without diving too much into the plot - I'm really glad to see Purple Heart and Purple Sister again, very touching scene with Orange Heart. I noticed I haven't shown any screenshots of what the actual in-game graphics are like outside of the CG dialogue scenes. To be quite frank, as you come to expect from the previous Hyperdimension Neptunia games, not great. But it is an improvement over the previous games: And now off to a new area...
8. Sensible advice indeed. It seems more and more employers are checking the social media profiles of potential candidates on the side as part of the filtering process. It would be unfortunate to lose an opportunity due to a silly social media footprint mishap. Out of curiosity is it difficult switching between the three accounts regularly or are there ways to make that easier? I'm somewhat guilty of this too. Haven't changed mine for over a year now?
9. Indeed. I found the gameplay became stale after a year, but the new content they were releasing did kept me going for sometime. Unfortunately the nature of MMOs is with each new major patch your class abilities can change significantly (due to PvP balancing) and well - community pressure. To top it off every Tuesday they shutdown all the servers for maintenance. This was done at a decent off-peak time for those in the US (3:00 AM PDT to 7:00 AM PDT) but for those in Australia and Southeast Asia (e.g. Singapore) that effectively meant Tuesday evenings were a no-go due to time zones. Add that up every week and you sort of feel a little ripped off... Those two factors really broke the immersion for me compared to a traditional RPG game.
10. Finished Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;birth 2 on my Vita yesterday. On the PS4 front... I am slowly playing Hyperdimension Neptunia Victory II on the PS4 (pacing myself due to it being in native Japanese). And I also intend to play Bloodborne on the PS4 sometime this weekend. Looks interesting. I heard it's a difficult game but rewarding.
11. This weekend I intend to finally nail that Nanoha gallery and implement a few new features.

12. Computers were supposed to make offices paperless! But in many places paper is still used a lot: Paper forms to sign up for membership. Filling out a form if you join a new company and so on... Thankfully many places have reduced the need for paper by implementing electronic forms and/or keeping it all online. Are you still finding the need to use paper a lot at work or in your daily life? How do you feel it could be improved?
13. There is now an option to enter your own custom title that will display under your username. You can find this in Preferences: Then scroll down until you find the Custom User Title field: There was feedback also about tying in different "ranks" instead of levels. That would be best looked at another time. Let me know if you run into any issues.
14. Granted, but all the non-creepy people disappeared and it turns out the rest became not so creepy after all. I wish magical girls were real.
15. Uhm... I've seen the old 2003 Daredevil movie which was pretty mediocre at the time from memory. I imagine this new TV series reboot triumphs over that movie in every way?
16. @Orius - I stand corrected. I got too used to the drag and drop functionality that VMware lets you do from your host machine to the VM window (and vice versa). You have to install a software package on the VM though to make it work, but after that it's super convenient.
17. What are your thoughts on Live Chat as a support tool? Normally they're found in the corner of a page as a pop-up widget and usually connect you with a support agent quickly. I've had good experiences using them with Telstra (telecommunications company) as a consumer. But I had bad experiences with Camera House (camera retailer) where they said it was online but I didn't get a response even after waiting a few minutes. They did eventually get back to me by sending me an SMS but that was a week later... Am curious on your experiences.
18. I've never played it - but in the school I work at, teachers have requested me to install it for their classes (the younger year levels) as a learning tool. I believe there's also an iPad version too.

Hello.

Hello Luke. Welcome to Anime Forums. Hope you enjoy your stay here.
20. Thanks for all the birthday wishes everyone. :)

21. A new Japanese language pack has been installed for Anime Forums. You can check it out by scrolling down to the bottom and clicking "English (US)" which will let you change the language to "日本語 (Japanese)". Not everything has been translated to Japanese as we are using a few custom add-ons, long term this will be addressed. For our more savvy Japanese users, feel free to report any corrections which I will forward to the developer.
22. Have you noticed how some airing anime title scenes suddenly dim the brightness for flashing scenes (pew-pew)? For example in Fate Stay Night UBW. Archer is shooting at Caster in the OP.. notice the stark contrast changes: This doesn't seem to be an issue on the Blu-ray version of anime titles. Another example is in Gonna be the Twin-Tail! This scene of Tailred is completely dimmed in the airing version from the OP: But on the Blu-ray version the scene is in its full glory: It seems quick cuts of explosion or bright flashes are dimmed on the airing versions. Maybe it has something to with more stricter broadcasting guidelines in Japan ever since that infamous Pokémon episode featuring Porygon that caused epileptic seizues. Personally doesn't bother me but may be something to keep in mind next time you watch a Blu-ray/DVD release. Anyone else noticed this?
23. Playing a JRPG in full Japanese has been quite the experience thus far.

SanguineTear

A good experience?

Indeed. Very fun because you get to play it early - often takes months before it's localised in English. Might also force me to improve my Japanese too. ;)

24. Overall so far I like the somewhat post-apocalyptic theme, and characters but it's just lacking impact. Not really feeling much for any of the characters since the first episode. Music is good though - looking at the production details Hiroyuki Sawano is the composer. Same composer that did the music for ALDNOAH.ZERO which would explain why it had a familiar sound to it for the combat scenes.
