@SleepyLeoulf that Yume theme is a barebones one for those that prefer a light, plain theme. It has been here since we converted to this platform.

Well I was curious to see how many users Facebook has these days and according to their official Third Quarter 2017 Results report: https://investor.fb.com/investor-news/press-release-details/2017/Facebook-Reports-Third-Quarter-2017-Results/default.aspx 2 billion users worldwide! It's pretty staggering stuff. These days I don't even use it anymore, just the Messenger component (due to family and work colleagues using it).

Yeah the second episode was a tad odd (will post more thoughts in the episode topic), exposing Lacia like that in such a lavish public event was mind boggling IMO. But was good to see the OP and a glimpse of red Kouka. I really am hoping to see some combat scenes hopefully, but at 24 episodes it seems they will want to build more backstory around Lacia I assume. Frankly I find Lacia the most intriguing. Arato Endo is clueless and his little sister is WAY TOO TRUSTING of Lacia! I interpreted that as hIEs being very loyal once registered to their owners. Too early to say though I think.

Hi everyone, I have setup a new dark theme called Anime Forums Sci-Fi. It features three different backgrounds you can choose from: Macross Frontier Knights of Sidonia Hyperdimension Neptunia (Next Black) Please feel free to give it a try, any issues let me know. If all goes well then it will be the new default theme for AF. In future we can also look at adding more background images.

Thanks for the feedback everyone. There is a fairly major update to the platform coming (to improve Clubs, Gallery and some forum features) which could significantly affect customisations. In the short term I will try to churn out 2-3 new themes.

Lacia, an hIE equipped with a black coffin-shaped device, is one of these. In boy-meets-girl fashion, 17-year-old Arato Endo has a fateful encounter with the artificial Lacia. For what purpose were these artificial beings created? Amid questions regarding the coexistence of these artificial beings and humans, a 17-year-old boy makes a decision... Source: MyAnimeList So advanced android/robotic girls called hIEs have become common tools to help society in a futuristic world. And this Arato Endo has a fateful encounter with special high combat hIE: Type-001 Lacia during a near fatal incident. There also appear to be other high combat hIEs too. Character designs of the hIEs look great! Universe seems interesting. I do however have reservations about the animation. I thought Diomedea wasn't too bad as they did Kantai Collection: KanColle but the animation quality on this title so far is quite lacklustre. Will certainly give this one a go for a few episodes. Shinya and Akane were awesome! I was really disappointed when he barely made an appearance in the second season but was absolutely in awe when he reappeared in the movie!

I really enjoyed both TV series many years ago. Even if it was quite ecchi, the Angeloid characters were adorable. Nymph was my most favourite! The first movie was fantastic (Angeloid of Clockwork) But the second movie (Final: Eternal My Master) was very convoluted and had a very poor ending. I can only assume people that have read the source material would understand it (I only watched the anime and its movies). My understanding is it was supposed to get a third TV series but they did a shorter movie instead..

Have you seen One Punch Man? It has intense fight scenes similar to My Hero Academia and both revolve around superheroes and villains.

Ling Xiayou (Panda!) and Alisa Bosconovitch (love android characters!) gets my vote. Their chemistry in that Tekken Blood Vengeance movie was great! Though I still find it amusing how they managed to shoehorn an anime style love triangle arc with its origins as a fighting game.

Violet Evergarden (Kyoto Animation - fantasy/drama) looks mesmerising and promising. Beatless - I'm a sucker for cute AI bodysuit girl depictions. Darling in the FranXX- looks very interesting (Trigger + A1) as a Sci-Fi mecha .. Grancrest Senki - action/fantasy.. could be average but I do rather enjoy this genre.

Hi @INKYDUSTIN yes I buy from AmiAmi every month (due to rolling preorders) of figures and merchandise. DHL will be the fastest (1-2 business days), as that is via direct courier and bypasses the postal system once it clears customs. EMS will use your local post service at the fastest service they offer. I’m guessing you’re from the US so looking as USPS that would be under “Priority Mail International Express” Both options you’ll definitely get within a week and are fully trackable. Air small packet and SAL will be VERY slow because that is via regular mail. For us in Australia regular airmail takes 2-4 weeks and the lack of tracking is a killer IMO. I’m not sure on price for just one shirt as when we order we usually order at least 5+ items because the base shipping cost to Australia is very expensive. I’d recommend trying to order more than one item if possible.

Hi everyone, Single sign on is now setup, so if you have either a Facebook, Twitter, Google or Steam account you can use that to login instead of using the traditional email address and password. If you want to make use of any of these for convenience, just go to Account Settings (click your avatar on top right corner) > Social network integration tabs After it is setup you can then login using the desired service: Access is synchronised with your AF account using proper API channels which is authorised as apps. For example if you link your Steam account you will be taken to the Steam website for verification. New members of course can do this on the sign up page when registering for an account. If you run into any issues please let me know.

Hi everyone, As we have now settled in with this platform, I would like to get your thoughts on themes. Instead of just converting all the previous themes across, I'd like to get some suggestions on what you'd like to see next? Can be anything such as: A Sword Art Online one? A general fantasy one? A cute or Sci-Fi/Mecha one? And also would you prefer a dark or light theme? Any feedback would greatly be appreciated.
