  1. I'd chill with them in the hospital room after wrecking due to trying to eat the chili cheese fries they gave me while driving, and then watch them cross-stitch an orange fox.

  3. For me this year, I want to try to make a few more friends, whether it's online or IRL. While it's really difficult to make friends as an adult, I think a lot of the problem for me is that I don't do quite enough to put myself out there to meet people. I'm no social butterfly and I can't stand a crowd, but I feel like I should try to put myself in somewhat social situations, if for nothing else just for the opportunity to sharpen my social skills to make it a little easier to meet new people. Easier said than done, though. I have some days when I just want solitude above all else. The other thing I want to continue working on is eliminating my debts and saving up so I can buy a home of my own someday soon. I guess another smaller resolution would be to cook more food that's better for me at home more often and stop eating out so much.

  5. I'm considering watching 86 again. Hopefully they'll announce if it's going to get a second season in the coming months. So far, nothing I've looked up on it yet is official. Fingers crossed. I might also fire up Suzume this weekend when I'm off work.
  6. When I was a kid, Candyland and Monopoly were the main ones I liked playing. These days, my two personal favorites are Carcassone and Hive. Small World is a lot of fun too, and it's even better if you have more players. If you play with the right company, Cards Against Humanity also makes for a quite amusing time.
  7. Happy Birthday to you! I hope you've had a good one!
  8. Watched Once Upon a Time in Hollywood again. I feel like this is one of those movies that requires more than one viewing. I always seem to see something new that I missed from the last time I watched it. There's a line that Leo DiCaprio's character Rick Dalton says at the end of the film about the hippies not being alright that always cracks me up: The entire ending scene is just gruesome and bloody and yet still downright hilarious. Easily one of my favorite Tarantino films.
