My recommendation is.... Not ask for any recommendations. if you want to really to enjoy the medium as a whole to it's full extend, it's best just to watch what available and what has a highscore. Because if you keep narrowing your standards with recommendations you become very bias toward genres and get stubborn about it. There are tons of people who refuse to watch/read Shoujo because they're a big fan of Shounen, or fans who only watch romance don't touch action for the same reason. I never really understood buying blueray copies. Realistically, there more of an novelty item then anything. You can easily get the blue-ray quality through torrents and streaming. and yeah, I understand that you don't buy bluerays for it's practicality, but for supporting an the industry, which is fine. But they look like there produced from a here in america. You do know that buying direct Japanese blue-rays support the industry a lot more then buying an american one. That's why if my life depended on spending 200 dollars on anime merch, I would just buy a figuring produced in Japan. At least they look pretty on a shelf for 2 seconds that I glance at it every month or so.

You should keep track of your anime stuff. Trust me, it gets hard trying to remember everything. Even at the 80ish title mark. You would think that remembering 80 titles or so would be easy, but it's not. My mal list far surpassed 80 titles now, yet I still remember a couple of titles I forgotten I watched. and keeping track of everything like every episode and stuff is a pain. I don't do it, and I don't think many people do. But if you still want to, you should try "Taiga". it's an okay platform for keeping track of your anime if you torrent your stuff like me. Also, enable VLC resuming option. Or just use MPC-HC.

You mean unconsciously understanding Japanese? I never really understood why people say this. Realistically, If i were to ask if you could translate 60% of an episode, I seriously doubt you would get passed 30%. But then again, I guess other people learn languages faster then others.

Yeah, I know what you mean. These type of things happen because the more you watch, the more critical you become. After you realize all the tropes anime tend to use, they start feeling stagnant and lame. Completely reasonable to become more critical to find enjoyment from an otherwise boring mess. In exchange you lose the enjoyment and innocent you would get if you were new. I find myself barely enjoying anime due to this. I honestly haven't picked up an anime series in weeks. Just been watching western cartoons, because it's more enjoyable then anything anime have produced in months. Despite that, probably find myself hating western cartoons in due time.

Despite that being Girlfriend X plot, I would probably reject her. Not really interested in having a girlfriend. How would you react if you had a little sister, but forgot about her due to amnesia.

well, if we are speaking of torrenting anime 1080p, where do you guys usually download it? I used to use animetake and bakabt, but since it got shut down and bakbt with it's strict downloading conditions, i stopped using them. I've been either streaming or using nyaa recently. Recommendations? I prefer torrent.

I probably prefer shoujo over every other genre. Mostly just because how much time i've put into Shoujo manga. I'm talking about 200+ titles. Not sure if this falls in the category "other", considering that Shoujo falls as sub-genre for romance.

Pingpong the animation. Eh, I'm surprised no one mentioned this yet. It was directed by the very talented man Yuasa Masaaki. You wonderful goat. (the man who was responsible behind tatami galaxy.) Slam dunk I don't have much to say about this show. Teaches the audience important morals of society while being very sensitive with it, and teaches the importants of teamwork and friends. Kind of your copy and paste for every stock sport anime out there, but you've got to understand that slam dunk started this trope to begin with.

Onoani Master Kurosawa Man, this manga really touched me. It's been my favorite manga for 4 years. and I honestly don't think anything in the world would change that. Ani Doki!
