I got a bunch of new clothes recently. All kinds of summer outfits now and just in time too

Tired, very tired. 23 seconds seems like such a long time wait. I’m not writing an essay about how I’m feeling, let me be short.

Worked, packed, waited. Still waiting.

About 20C=68 °F, clear, with a cool breeze. Wind is in our favour, it’s hardly smoky at all for the moment.

Fun times. Wildfire right behind my house. Not joking in the slightest right now. Why am I here? I don’t know bored waiting waiting waiting can’t do much except wait

@Animedragon @Eris I will still come around from time to time to say hello, maybe even share what I’ve been watching, just nowhere near as frequently. I do quite like a bunch of you! I just don’t have enough in common and I have a hard time keeping up with general conversation a lot of the time. If anyone ever ends up creating an AF-ish Discord server (with vetted members, hence AF-ish and not straight up AF lol, creeps begone), I would definitely be interested in joining that instead. I usually have trouble joining servers unless someone adds me as a friend first and sends the invite through Discord, I call it my Server Curse, so just send me a private message here and we can swap deets. @CornedBeef Obviously I can’t speak for your experience here, but the reason I’m stepping back isn’t due to a lack of connection, I just simply don’t have enough in common with everyone to properly fit into the forum space on a regular basis. My lunch is almost over, so I need to head back to work now, but if anyone is interested in connecting on Discord, shoot me a private message and we can add each other later. (And yes, CornedBeef, that invitation includes you as well. I can’t guarantee we’ll hit it off, but it’s always worth a shot)

I’m sorry to see people are being harassed and it’s caused people to leave. Definitely bring it to the mods attention if possible. I like the lot of you but I personally still don’t feel like I fit in with any of you at all, so I’ve kinda stepped back and don’t know how much I’ll come around here anymore. Friday is upon us! Anybody have weekend plans? On Sunday Andy is taking me to Reitmans and I’m gonna buy some clothes/basically a new wardrobe. Very excited!

I’m not tired, but I’m sleepy and what to snuggle up in bed. Instead I’m at work boooo. But at least it’s Friday yaaaay!

Very pretty! There are a few areas around here that encourage everyone to do some “forest bathing” while they’re there! The idea is to spend time in the forest and really connect with what’s around you. Take a moment to be still and breathe, listen to the sounds around you, look at and appreciate the nature around you, smell the air. Aside from encouraging a connection between people and Mother Earth, it’s supposed to be very good for your mental health as well, so it’s no surprise you feel the way you do when you’re out for hikes/walks through nature.

Well, as long as it’s the blood of someone’s arch nemesis, I shall allow the furby burn dance as witnessed by the moon

It was pouring rain and cool. And then it was pouring rain and hot. And then it stopped raining and the temp cooled off a bit. And then it was raining on and off. Then it got clear and really hot. Currently it’s cloudy-ish, sunny-ish. Was really hot for the short walk from the bus stop to my house. And now that I’m not outside walking it’s cooled off to something more pleasant.

Oh yeah, the other day I tried the first four episodes of that Konosuba(?) anime I’ve seen mentioned around here. Totally couldn’t get into it at all tbh, I don’t think I’ll bother continuing it. Oh well, it was worth a try!

Tired and in desperate need of water, definitely didn’t have enough today or yesterday

Today is raining and cool, I actually like it a lot. Earlier it was way too warm and muggy in the shop at work, but we cracked open the back door and turned on the fan, so it has since cleared out and cooled down thankfully.

Okay okay okay, listen. If we’re going to be burning the hell furbies, can we please make sure they’re at least being burned in a furnace that has a door? I don’t wanna smell all that burning plastic and fake hair.

Definitely feels a lot more active than when I came around in the past. I had a furby and I loved it, at first. Mum somehow managed to teach it my name. It would only say my name if it wanted to dance (“DANCE COURTNEY, DANCE!”) and then it would dance. It hated being flipped upside down and would cry. It had a spot on my shelf that was across from the foot of my bed, just a bit above my eye level when I was lying down. One night the batteries were dying. Instead of the batteries dying peacefully (and quietly), the furby woke up all glitched out, looked possessed, was screaming, and rocking back and forth on the shelf like a spaz. In.the.middle.of.the.night. I went screaming into my parents room, of course. It creeped the fuck out of them too. So much so that the batteries were taken out and the furby was resigned to the basement. Many moons passed and the furby was forgotten. And then it reminded us that it’s there. The fucking thing started laughing when we were sorting through stuff in the basement. STRAIGHT TO THE DUMP. Anywho, hello AF how’s it hangin’?

Once again whyyyyyyyy is it only Tuesday???? ah, I’m just being a big baby. I’m actually fine haha
