It’s raining today

I’m feeling a bit hungry, I should make something to eat

Hung out with Andy all day. We slept in a little bit, then got up and had breakfast, threw on a load of laundry, sat outside for awhile, played more Cyberpunk, went for a little walk to get some eggs, and prepped the stuff for our lunches this week. Now I’m just scrolling through here and Andy has gone out to get the demo bike from work so that he can charge it and go for a ride tomorrow.

I listened to some music, played cyberpunk most of the day, hung out on my porch

Idk what it’s like outside, but the front of the store is really fricken hot because the sun has come around to the front. Glad I mostly work in the back

Glad there’s less than an hour left in my shift, I’m very quickly becoming so over today. Feels like I accomplished fuck all even though I’ve been running all over the place. At least it wasn’t very busy.

Haha I guess that’s one of the differences between printing for the public or not! Most of the stuff we do is boring old business stuff for other companies, but yeah definitely some interesting other jobs as well. Omg! I actually had a lady hang up on me on Monday because she wanted a last minute print job (she left ALL of her presentation materials at home and she’s from out of town), and was honestly expecting to call us, send the file, and pick it up in 5min. I told her the soonest I could have it ready was in half hour to an hour and she got angry at me and said, “well that’s not good enough!” and hung up on me lmfao!!! Get bent, lady, maybe next time she’ll make sure she actually has her presentation materials the next time she’s travelling for a presentation?? There is another print shop in town, but I can almost guarantee that they told her to get bent, they’re nowhere near as nice to their customers as we are (actually, we’ve been hearing loooots of complaints about them lately, we think they might be trying to focus more on their big jobs and brushing off all the piddly shit) Hahaha I always love the, “can’t you just try anyway?” Do I look like a miracle worker?? One of my favourite conversations I overhear out front on a regular basis is basically ”I’ve come to pick up my order” ”did you get an email that it’s ready?” ”no but,” ”you’ll get an email when it’s ready, come back then” ”but it’s just” ”they’re busy in the back and have other customers ahead of you. You’ll get an email when your job is ready, goodbye!” At this point most people are dissuaded and leave to wait for confirmation that their order is ready, but we get the odd one that is absolutely determined to see how long it will take which usually gets me involved into the conversation and then they get to hear a cheerful, extremely vague answer, “Should be sometime today! I’ll send you an email as soon as it’s ready!” “when today?” ”whenever I have a chance to do it, goodbye!”

Hot damn I want another cinnamon bun

I just had a delicious cinnamon bun so I’m happier than whatever expression I can’t think of, they’re so goooooooooooood omg

I used to not like Chucky at all because dolls scare me and I still don't but I did manage to sit through one of the movies which I'm proud of myself for XD I’ve seen the first one and bride of chucky, as well as parts from others, but that was a long time ago and they gave me nightmares haha

I’ve never been able to handle watching any of the Chucky movies, they scare the shit out of me. But I also used to collect porcelain dolls and some of the collector holiday Barbies (had around 50 porcelain dolls by the time I got rid of them), so the thought of dolls coming to life has always been way too freaky for me haha

I don’t mind the odd road trip every now and then, but I’ve never really been big on travelling in general tbh
