Didn’t actually snow (though I did see some sleet). It rained for about 24 hours straight just prior. And when it was actually time it was 40 degrees with 30 -50 mph windgusts. It wasn’t as cold last year but was raining. Would think when they know what’s coming a couple days in advance they would schedule a different day.

Final episode for Arte, My Next Life as a Villainess & Ascendence of a Bookworm S2 all air tomorrow. While I’ve enjoyed all these series a lot hangs on how they wrap things up or at least pause till the next season.

First episode of Rent-a-Girlfriend was pretty cringey. But also made me lol a couple times (especially “Gran”). And there’s at least the potential for it to turn into something sweet. So will stick with it awhile.

people who write this series off for the violence & lewdness are missing something IMO.
figured Claire wasn’t the type to lose her cool over what happened between Shuichi & Chihiro though she’s clearly not happy about it. But fully expected Elena to rip her cute little head off. Strange that Chihiro remembers merging but Shuichi doesn’t. Seems he & Elena were a couple or well on their way to being one before what she did erased his memories of her. And now they can’t be together because she has a different agenda
As to Claire & Shuichi not being able to be one because they’re too different, seems to me that’s what makes their partnership work. The Chihiro/ Shuichi merger was more powerful, but out of control. Shuichi/Clair seem to balance each other out[/spoiler]

Had a dream last night about being in one of those university towns where you have to park your car & then walk everywhere you want to go. Except I forgot where I parked & was just wandering around with no idea where I was or where I was headed. The symbolism ain’t exactly subtle, is it?
Woke up feeling tireder than when I went to bed. Gonna be a fun day at work today, I can tell.

Happy to see the official announcement that Appare Ranman will get a restart in July as what I saw of it prior to the delay seemed promising. To me had a similar feel to Shinichiro Watanabe’s work. Was also glad Diary of Our Days at Breakwater will be returning. While it seems like it will just be a SoL/CGDCT series, I still enjoyed what I saw.

It’s still pretty limited in what you can do & has some bugs, but since I primarily use my phone instead of a desktop, it’s nice to have something integrated into the site itself & hopefully they’ll continue to improve things. I’ve made some attempts to interact on the forums there, but definitely prefer the feel of the community here even though it’s not overly active.

Heard on the radio that today is National Chicken Wing Day. At the risk of revealing how truly maladjusted I am, I have NEVER understood this fascination. I don’t care what kind of sauce you put on them, just ain’t enough meat on the damm things.
