Wow! You guys are awesome!!! I’m really inspired right now hearing about all of your different hobbies. I didn’t realize how much I was not doing with my life

Yep.. that’s super annoying. That and not being able to fly already... like what are these robot mechanics doing? Shouldn’t we all have iron man suits by now

I haven’t seen it but I may speculate that it’s like that a lot of remakes. I for one didn’t like the new FMA, because I felt like the old one was just fine, so it was almost insulting to have it remade, since I liked the original so much.

I never answered you back it’s 3. @AniMeFReaK is it 2? 1. My neighbor borrowed sugar from me yesterday 2. I love romcoms 3. My cats wear collars with their name tags (so cute)

@Humbby is my spirit animal

Ah.. that’s a true point. I’ve seen some people come off from a boat party (or possibly a constant life party) and drive away with their boat. I do like the idea @efaardvark had, for the majority of people, it may very well be a solution to cut down on reckless driving

I can’t believe there’s a character that can be referred to as *so and so’ best friend forever that in itself is too funny

That sounds fun! There are a few other here enjoying that series right @Kinbaryu and @Ohiotaku

These situations stress me out!!! I almost got nailed the other day, and I was shaking for a while. The thing is, I always say - the driver didn’t do it to harm me, they are just driving selfishly/distracted, or perhaps are even innocent in making poor judgement. That’s why they call them accidents most of the time- unless you’re talking about someone driving completely negligently going 20mph over the speed limit of drinking & driving, those aren’t accidents, more close to intentional neglect. I have to tell my hubby all the time that the driver didn’t cut them off on purpose - that people have their own reasons for driving how they do and it’s not that people are out to get you, so to speak. It is very annoying, but when you can look at it from a perspective of forgiveness it’s easier to let it go.

Compilation across my favorite anime.

XII360 has a thread going around about how to manage your time around your hobbies, but I just want to get the gist of what everyone here likes to do. What hobbies are you enjoying now? My hobbies include watching anime, doing visual arts, writing poetry and reading/ learning Id like to carve out some time to get back into an active hobby again soon. Something like tennis or soccer probably.

Whole chick peas, lobster, baked Mac n cheese - don’t ruin good Mac n cheese by baking it >_> You?

I second Trigun, Rurouni Kenshin/Samurai X, And Yuu Yuu Hakusho And would like to add Monster, and Inuyasha. For movies I’d also add some Miyazaki films in there, along with The girl who leapt through time, and Summer Wars. Like others have already said, and you probably are able to tell, everyone will have a different preference.

@VampireKnight19 there will be more competitions very soon. Keep watching

My favorite genre is still Fantasy/shounen. I do prefer that genre over slice of life. But I also love Sports anime...

It’s also massively cheaper to pull off a good anime vs a good reality tv show

Ayako “Aya Chan” Slam Dunk

Everyone free to watch this Friday?

Have you tried calming supplements - and thunder jacket for dog? Its hot & humid, nothing unusual here today

1 @SativaNekoPripyat 1. My name is Jennifer 2. I have a dog 3. I have 2 tattoos

I don't know why, but I can't watch sports on tv or IRL, it's not as interesting as playing (like you said) but in anime I can watch sports. It's just done in more depth, and you can follow someone's story from start to finish.

I agree. Mostly in shounen genres I think.

Good question! I’ve never heard of it as being a genre from researching genres. However, I think it would be a defining characteristic of the series for sure.
