Hey, welcome to AF. Nice to meet you too.

Glad you found what you were looking for. I had no idea The last horror anime I watched was Elfen Lied, and I didn’t finish it, but I knew that wasn’t it. Main chara in EL is a girl named Lucy. Freaky and gorey though. So check it out if you like that dark fantasy thing.

This book by Shel Silverstein was a gift to my toddler. I cried the first time I read it, thinking it was a sad, horrible book. But I’ve been asked to read it multiple times by my insisting toddler over the past year and seem to have gotten over it being so sad. Maybe it was an emotional shock when I first read it, or that I felt strongly because I miss my childhood, and felt sadness for the passing of time as I read the story? Has anyone else read this children’s story? How do you relate to it?

I had a cup of black tea.. It’s easy if you buy the tea bags and just stick it in a cup with water and put it in the microwave...

I personally liked the last battle better. This one was a bit overdone with the showboating power of Glass. Also, looks like that b**** is trying to become crown princess again.

It would be much cooler if he took off the arrows and sight attachments. But it’s still better looking than the compound bow I agree.

Thnx for the update! Can’t wait to watch it tonight with hubby

So Gen Z slang is crazy. I’ve had a hard time keeping up since I’m not really into pop culture- never really have been. But here’s a video describing the topic a bit more Oh and Gen Z peeps, can you either confirm or deny? My nephews are always saying “yeet” so I can confirm that one at least

When we first moved in I blessed the house... cuz you never know

Maybe it’s because I’m on an iPhone?

@SanguineTear thanks, you’re tha best. @ArchieKun thank you! It’s an old house, coming together little by little. @Illusion of Terra It’s a sitting room with a book shelf (holding my fav board games & books) and those chairs and an old army field desk repurposed as a game table. That is a wood chess board (el cheapo tbh).

Welcome to AF! Love you’re taste in anime! Have you gotten the chance to watch Rising of the Shield hero yet this season? It’s really good! My taste is similar to yours so let me just tell you my favorite anime: Trigun, Samurai X (movies), Accel world, Haikyu!, Yuu Yuu Hakusho, Hajime no ippo, Histories Strongest Disciple Kenichi, Claymore (fabulous manga), My Hero Academia, and Blue Exorcist. Welcome to the forums, relax and stay a while.

@Illusion of Terra that’s where I got the idea, I’m enjoying our Shield hero discussion. If we did watch Flying witch together I’d be open to an episode a day, or even one a week. Whatever y’all can do works for me. @Dot.com I liked the first episode pretty decently, kind of slow & has a slice of life feel to it, which I wasn’t expecting given the name. But I like the mythical elements that give it character. So far so good

@Illusion of Terra nope Baby steps is a good one

So I feel like there’s so many anime I’ve never seen, will never see and therefore can’t relate to most “regular” anime watchers Plus there’s been about a 10 year gap of time when anime kept coming out every season and I missed it. Which will still continue to happen... So yea, I’m an eternal Anime noob.
