My taste is similar to yours so let me just tell you my favorite anime: Trigun, Samurai X (movies), Accel world, Haikyu!, Yuu Yuu Hakusho, Hajime no ippo, Histories Strongest Disciple Kenichi, Claymore (fabulous manga), My Hero Academia, and Blue Exorcist. @Illusion of Terra that’s where I got the idea, I’m enjoying our Shield hero discussion. If we did watch Flying witch together I’d be open to an episode a day, or even one a week. Whatever y’all can do works for me. @Dot.com I liked the first episode pretty decently, kind of slow & has a slice of life feel to it, which I wasn’t expecting given the name. But I like the mythical elements that give it character. So far so good

So I feel like there’s so many anime I’ve never seen, will never see and therefore can’t relate to most “regular” anime watchers Plus there’s been about a 10 year gap of time when anime kept coming out every season and I missed it. Which will still continue to happen... So yea, I’m an eternal Anime noob.

@HanaApril Connecting with folks is a worthy use of time I’d say. They won’t be around forever. Building memories sharing tea together sounds lovely Since she likes green tea a lot, maybe order her a Matcha Green tea tin from Amazon. They are a bit more expensive and more hard to come by in stores, so she’s likely never had it, but to me it is the best tasting green tea. Japanese use it in tea ceremony.

Yea there’s one in your state that I know of, but you’d have to commit if you really wanted to go. I’ve driven from SC to NC to meet old friends at the con. Some people drive a few more states away for Dragon Con (Atlanta I think). Just make a vacation out of it, If you really like that sort of thing that is.

Hey, I’ve seen you around the forums for a little bit now, but welcome anyway. It’s nice to hear a little bit about you. Im pretty similar to you in some respects. I’m quiet and like to keep to myself most of the time (boring to some people I guess) but once you find your niche you’ll likely blossom Id love to chat about your upcoming boot camp thing if you want to know anything (been there before myself). Other than that, happy to see you here. Hopefully you find happiness being in the service and having more opportunities. If you remember any of us after boot camp you’ll be doing better than me though I lost nearly all of my memory after that.

Tea talk I put milk in all of my teas except herbal, herbals I like with a large helping of Honey. Most commonly I’ll drink Black tea about 3 times a day. It helps me have energy and also mellow out. Cookies are a nice addition but also not always on hand sadly.. I run out rather fast when I have them with my tea. Favorite cookie with black tea is the Lotus tea biscuit. Yummy

I’m watching dubbed right now (Crazy for me but the translation pretty good, and Incan watch with hubby) but the song is like half in English? Or is it just so fast and all in English? Idk but I can only make out some of the words and I like the song a lot.
